So this is happening. If you can possibly do such a task, towards the end of April Fools could you make it so it's "been freed" (like, make a loop where it moves right off the page and then re-enters from the left and it repeats)? It'd make a good resolution. Panini📚 13:57, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Panini!: While I don't think I can make the edit myself (sleeping), I have prepared the changes needed to do what you said. To implement those changes:
- Replace "Style.css" with "Style freed.css"
- Replace "300s" (300 seconds) with a shorter appropriate time like "10s" (10 seconds)
- If you then preview the page, the ship should move like how you want it to. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 14:30, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

- Aseleste, Looks good, I'll make the change in the last hour or so. Panini📚 14:48, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Aseleste, I hope I'm not a bother, but could you also create a code that makes the background change from white to red like an alarm? I tried to figure it out myself but I'm no good with coding... Panini📚 14:56, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Panini!: Can you describe it in more detail? ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 14:58, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Aseleste, Okay, so the article appears to have a white background, but after about 4 seconds it turns red for about 1 second and turns back to white (and then loops this) as if it's a blinking red alarm. I plan on making Ever Green violently spin at high speeds and the excavators are freaking out about it. I'm telling a story kinda. Panini📚 15:01, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

May I ask why did you remove my Soroka and Robinhood joke AfDs? The Donald Trump (2nd nomination) listing is directly made on the page itself and still stands, so that must have been a proper way of participation. Second, a few IP addresses has successfully made joke requests, like that on the Milky Way, so IP address must have been permitted, too. Also, the subjects of my two joke requests should not be that controversial. Thank you! --2001:569:7B92:5500:B02B:997B:1CF9:16F5 (talk) 02:29, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Page mover granted

Hello, Aseleste. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect
is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.
Useful links:
- Wikipedia:Requested moves
- Category:Requested moves, for article renaming requests awaiting action.
If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Anarchyte (talk • work) 14:40, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Aseleste,
Just a reminder that every time you tag a page for deletion (CSD, PROD, AFD/TFD/CFD/etc.), you need to post a notice on the talk page of the page creator so they are aware of what has happened to the pages they have created. If you use Twinkle and set up your Preferences to "Notify page creator if possible", the program will notify the editor for you whenever you tag a page so I encourage editors to make use of it. Thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 19:28, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Ita140188[not a ping] did the tagging, so pinging them to read the message: Ita140188. I have only added

Hey, thank you for your efforts to improve rcat tagging. However, please not that you mistagged that page by placing {{R from draft}} and {{R to main namespace}} on the page. Since it's a draft talk page, it isn't considered a draft page nor does it lead to a page in mainspace (it leads to talkspace). –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 17:30, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- @MJL: I think tagging talk pages are allowed since they do not get added to Category:Pages with templates in the wrong namespace. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 02:24, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
- [Thank you for the ping] I'll look into getting that fixed. If you read the template documentation, it says what the rcat is intended for. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 04:07, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

Move of Alsophila dealbata
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
I don't know why this was only requested as an uncontested technical move; why was there no request for a move on the talk page of the article? It would absolutely have been contested, since it would be necessary to show why it was correct under Wikipedia:Naming conventions (flora). I'm confident that I would not have been the only WP:PLANTS editor to have objected. In my view it's totally unhelpful to have the situation now at Category:Alsophila (plant), where all the species are at the scientific name except for one. A redirect at "Silver fern" ensured that the article could always be found. I think the situation as it was should be restored, and a proper discussion initiated. If it's then decided that a move is justified, fine. Peter coxhead (talk) 13:02, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- I have read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (flora) quickly beforehand and the content indicates that it has outside significance. However, I think I missed "
these exceptions are determined on a case-by-case basis through discussion towards consensus
", which implies that a discussion should be held. - In any case, the page has been restored. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 13:32, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

Hey, this isn't a demand for you to stop or any sort of real warning, but I'd just like to drop a note to consider being more cautious with your relist comments (and to keep in mind that NAC relists are almost as controversial as NACs proper at AfD). Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thalolam (film) was not only a third relist (something that generally requires pretty unusual circumstances) but practically a !vote in its own right. Vaticidalprophet 09:29, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- I am aware that third or further relists should be avoided without good reason. While the relist comment is not intended to be a !vote, it has been amended to avoid potential misunderstanding. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 10:42, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Paul Ritter
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
Hi - you moved Paul Ritter to Paul Ritter (architect), which means that the base page name just redirects there now, which is basically exactly the same situation as before the move. It broke the "Other uses" template on the architect page as well. Either the dab page or (looking at the discussion) the actor page needs to be moved to the base name, it can't be left as a redirect. Black Kite (talk) 11:52, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- To explain why, imagine that I am looking for the actor and type in his name. How do I find him now? Black Kite (talk) 11:56, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing that! Black Kite (talk) 11:58, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Black Kite: Hi, when you sent this message, I was still in the process of moving - specifically, I was updating the incoming links to Paul Ritter and changing them to link to Paul Ritter (architect). The move should be completed now. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 11:59, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- OK - I just saw your close of the RM and thought you were only going to move the one page. Black Kite (talk) 12:04, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

- Well, it is only a proposal, so there is no WikiProject yet. Do you mean changing "SpaceX (company)" to "SpaceX"?
- That aside, I think you should propose creating a task force instead as outlined on Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Proposing a task force. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 06:40, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

You recently closed an AfD discussion related to the star Qatar-3. The discussion was closed with a described result of "merge from Qatar-3b." This may be a typo since the consensus appeared to be merge *to* Qatar-3b. The talk page at Talk:Qatar-3 states that the result of the discussion was "no action". The page Qatar-3b still has the deletion header stating that the discussion was closed but the merge has not taken place. I was about to merge it, but having gone through all the pages I'm none the wiser as to what close you actually intended and whether the described result was a misreading of the discussion. Lithopsian (talk) 19:24, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Lithopsian: Looking over the discussion again, the merge direction seems unclear and the only thing that supports one over the other is the numbers. I think this is why the discussion was closed as merge from. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 10:50, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
