Objection towards Ralph Fiennes edit.
I have photographic evidence of him at the ceremony,I was there. However, I was not sad enough to record the audio of him joking.
Edit: Thanks. If the A level grades is to uncyclopedic, could I at least add the bit about him re-visiting his old sixth form? One of the photos is here: http://goodorbadapple.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/image_011581.jpg
Edit: So is '...They moved to Salisbury in England, where Fiennes finished his schooling at Bishop Wordsworth's School. On the 27th of September 2010, at 4:10PM he opened the new Sixth Form block.<'ref'>Photo of Ralph Fiennes opening the new Sixth Form block</'ref'> After Bishops he then...' okay? Re: EH
Hey Artoasis, long time no talk, what you been up to these days? I'm doing good, thank you for asking. :) The bits look good, excellent work BTW, very detailed stuff. This is me but maybe adding the last sentence after the first one since it's about the same organization. Who knows, that's probably the way it's supposed to be and I just don't know it. ;) IDK if this is of any importance. Listen, if you have free time on your hands do you think you can look over Elizabeth Banks—on my sandbox—and tell me what you think, you know should I fix sentences that sort of thing, I would really love the feedback. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:05, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry for not responding yesterday [internet was down; a tree fell down or something]. Uh, the lead, yeah I'm kinda rusty I haven't worked on a bio. for quite sometime... expanding it is what I mean. I went with your suggestion of the lead, better that way, really. Wow, that's cool, you having a "connection" to the business. My theater teacher also told us about the real thing that can make you a successful actor. I'm currently in an acting workshop, pretty cool stuff that you learn from it. Damn, I did not know that Banks got that part gonna have to update it on my sandbox, thanks for the know. I remember in an interview Hawke stating that he's not interested in doing blockbusters and turning down a part in Titanic. He really should take part in blockbusters it's a special thing to be part of, IMO. The info. about Hawke's PL fits and no I didn't come up with the wedding sentence it was already there when I first began work on his article. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 20:37, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Been experiencing computer problems, hence why I haven't logged on for a while. I saw the changes and I think they're good but just be careful with avoiding POV and all that stuff... particularly the Linklater quote you know some people may believe we're "praising him". I want to keep a consistency in not repeating the same sources in the article hence why PopMatters is added. The rest looks good, so. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 16:55, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- PopMatters reviews music, movies, television, video games, comics, sports, theater, visual arts, travel, and of course BOOKS. When I was working on the article I ran into the PopMatters review and thought 'Oh, this definitely could be used in the article', not keep repeating the same sources Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Variety, etc., and the same thing when I'm sourcing something trying to avoid that repetition stuff. I'm gonna be totally honest here I liked the PopMatters review better than the current one but whatever I guess. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 20:48, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not mad, I'm just letting you know. I liked the PopMatters summary in the article. A user said in the FAC to summarize some of the review quotes to make it professional and FA material and he summarized that PopMatters quote which I liked very much. Also, that NYT link is a problem cause you need a log in to access the article. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:43, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Gattaca
Your recent contribution to the Gattaca article has been moved to the Talk:Gattaca page until the dispute is resolved. --Loremaster (talk) 01:49, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
According to a blogpost of The Planetary Society, NASA's list of the worst sci-fi movies ever made was “a case of spectacularly bad reporting” (See A Worldwide Game of "Telephone" Distorts NASA Meeting ) Therefore, mention of it was deleted from the Gattaca article and should not be restored. --Loremaster (talk) 16:36, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Julianne Moore
Hello Artoasis, Just wondering how my photo is considered "trivial." If you had been present at the March for Women's Lives which was the largest march on Washington DC in history, you would recall that it was one of the most meaningful days in your life, not to mention in "herstory," so "trivial" would have been the last word you would use. I don't see any other photos on Julianne's page that illustrate her pro-choice activism. Also, what is the correct ettiquette in handling of photos? Do you just remove one if you personally find it trivial, or do you confer with others? I am still learning the ropes and do not want to step on anybody's toes, but I am a warrior at heart and do not tend to go silently into the good night in regards to issues I feel strongly about. I appreciate your feedback.

I am a little puzzled at your AfD off this article as a7. what part of the criterion do you think applied? You might want to look at the history of the article. DGG ( talk ) 02:51, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Hey there
Noted your extensive work as a member of WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers, so i am bringing your attention to the Gary Oldman article. A user registered the name "mickeymousebull" to make edits to this article (user has two edits, both times removing much of the lede content of the article). Appreciate it if you could keep an eye on the lede of the article and its content. Thanks. Sam.P.Hollins (talk) 03:21, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Artoasis. Was sure that you'd know what is befitting of lede content, and thank you for keeping an eye on the article.Sam.P.Hollins (talk) 23:05, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Stoppard
Hi, Thanks for repairing the Tom Stoppard links. I put them in and had no idea they were faulty. Good job. Best wishes Span (talk) 11:25, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Authority Control Template
I noticed you reverted the addition of this template for several actors. I suspected the template should not be in those articles, but is there some policy or guideline on the use of this template? The documentation for the template is unhelpful in this regard. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:43, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

GA review
Cheers for the review. Thats me sorted everything you have pointed out. Might be best to change it to second opinion if your not too sure. Monkeymanman (talk) 12:42, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Nice edit cant believe i hadn't noticed those. What you think about Daniel Radcliffe? Thats a week now and technically i should go one way or another with the GA nom. I have tried to improve the article along with the nominator but i personally just dont think the refs are polished enough. Monkeymanman (talk) 16:17, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
- Oh thanks. About Radcliffe's page, I noticed it has been nominated before, but didn't seem to improve much since the first nomination. Personally, I don't think it's ready for GA yet. - Artoasis (talk) 16:34, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Re: Malin Åkerman
Hi! Yeah, I wrote the article pretty quickly because I felt it needed expanding :P And about the films in the lead, I don't know, I suck at writing leads and as I said before, I wrote it pretty quickly. I don't know if she does hold dual citizenship, she just says that she feels both Swedish and Canadian. I'll see if I can find anything. Pancake (talk) 14:16, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
- Box office bombs... oops xD Well, i tried to find stuff about dual citizenship, and I found that she has both Swedish and Canadian passports. Pancake (talk) 14:56, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah I was just gonna tell you that it was already there x) Pancake (talk) 15:09, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
