Account creator granted
After reviewing your request for the "account creator" permission, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:
- The account creator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
- The account creator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the account creator right will result in its removal by an administrator.
If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the account creator right. Happy editing! — xaosflux Talk 17:59, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Added for your event, good luck! — xaosflux Talk 18:01, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Xaosflux:Many thanks for your speedy help. I only need the flag for this evening, in case several people show up without accounts, and would be happy to have it removed any time from 8pm. Artchivist1 (talk) 18:17, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hello, As you get this a lot, I've updated the notation to make this be "permanent". If you don't WANT the flag, feel free to ping me. If you end up not using it for a long time, it may be removed - but you are well versed in how to get it back. Happy editing, — xaosflux Talk 19:03, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks @Xaosflux: -- this is very helpful. Artchivist1 (talk) 19:08, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

template for the Art And Feminism edit-a thons
Hi Artchivist1, I think we neglected to tell people to add this template to the talk page of new articles that were created at Wikipedia:Meetup/Toronto/ArtAndFeminism January 20, 2016
{{ArtAndFeminism2015 article}}
I'll try to add the template where appropriate Mduvekot (talk) 18:45, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Mduvekot: Thanks! I wonder if they have a 2016 template ready yet -- I can try to find out. Artchivist1 (talk) 18:51, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- I just made one Mduvekot (talk) 19:00, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for using the templates. Just went to create the 2016 version and saw it was already done! :) A heads up, though: remember to add them to the talk page rather than the article itself. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 03:56, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Rhododendrites:Got it. Thanks for moving the templates over. Love your username, btw.
Thank you!
Seazzy has given you a Wolf! Wolves promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Wolves must be fed three times a day and will be your faithful companion and protecter forever! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a wolf, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. You navigate through tangles of A/V cords with a swiftness.
Spread the goodness of wolves by adding {{subst:Wolf}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message!
Thanks for leading the pack through the stacks! One day in the future I will figure out how to change the main text in the box for more amazingness, less pure template.
- @Seazzy:Ha -- I'm just super impressed at the wolf thing! All I could conjure is a kitten. thx! Artchivist1 (talk) 16:36, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
Can Art+Feminism rescue Draft:Winnifred Kingsford?
I changed the red link Winnifred Kingsford at Wikipedia:Meetup/Toronto/ArtAndFeminism into a link to Draft:Winnifred Kingsford. User Jacqbennett started the draft last year, but perhaps got busy or frustrated with the process, and abandoned it. The text may have to be rewritten (if inspected closely it may turn out to be too-close paraphrasing or outright copyright violation), but the draft identifies some useful-looking sources, and I've added a few more.
Would you or someone else participating in the meetup like to adopt the draft and finish it? I thought of you because of the nice work you did on Sydney Strickland Tully. Wikipedia needs an article about Kingsford, the draft will be deleted if not improved enough to be accepted, and the press wrote an article about Wikipedia adding Kingsford - so we should really follow through. --Worldbruce (talk) 06:44, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, @Worldbruce:, we can take this on. I'd like to see that article launched. Thanks for your intervention! -- Artchivist1 (talk) 15:51, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
Thank you!
For putting us all together :-)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, Artchivist1. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
