Hey armyrifle you say that how can the war in chechnya be ongoing if it ended in 2002. I think you will find that the insurgency in Chechnya continues to this day and is infact spreading across the whole North Cuacasus
Extraneous political material
[edit]Armyrifle9, per WP:NOT#Wikipedia is not a soapbox?, would be you willing to remove your political views from your userpage? I accept that you speak from the heart here, but thos who've lost loved ones to Chechen and Palestinian terrorism (or whatever else you'd choose to call it) might understandably take exception. It's best to concentrate on the encyclopedia and keep our political views to ourselves, wouldn't you agree?Proabivouac 05:46, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you, Armyrifle9, I really appreciate that. I think you'll find people are ready enough to pigeonhole one another without us helping the process along. If you see comparable material on another editors' page from any ideological direction, please let me know and I'll drop the editor a line.Proabivouac 21:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
mabrook!

If you care to send me an e-mail explaining why you converted I'd be interested to read it. Arrow740 01:04, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- as would I. I am trying to understand religious convictions as best I can, and how they may change over time. --Hojimachongtalkcon 01:48, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Your religion
[edit]You are a convert from Christianity to Islam? Congratulations! I've went through the same path, only converted earlier (in 2005). --Al-Bargit 14:22, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Looks like you are very recent convert. I also wish to say Congratulations and really wish to know that how you are converted. It is an important story for me to know. Wassalam. --- ALM 13:16, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

adoption!
Armyrifle9! I'm Sa.vakilian, one of the adopter of Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! If you want to be a good Wikipedian, I can help you with wikipedia rules and styles. ←Sa.vakilian(t-c)--10:03, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
In addition I invite you to participate in Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam and I can help you with your religious questions about Islam and Shia.
Third holiest site?
[edit]Please give a source which states that Al Aqsa isn't 3rd holiest for Shia. Thanks Chesdovi 10:51, 20 March 2007 (UTC) Thank you, but are there any religious sources. The hadith mention the virtues of the 3 mosques. Are there any other places in religious writings which mention Najaf as third holiest? Chesdovi 10:58, 20 March 2007 (UTC) Can't you ask your local imam? He is sure to know something?! Chesdovi 11:08, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Email?
[edit]Its better that you enable receiving emails also. Everything can not be discussed on public pages. VirtualEye 12:50, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed. Arrow740 06:51, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Personal
[edit]I've been around your user page before (I spend far too much time on Wikipedia than is good for me), and I noticed you've recently changed a few things. I don't mean to ask personal questions, but does this mean that you no longer adhere to your previous belief? I'm just being vague in case you'd rather not openly discuss it. Either way, I'm curiously looking forward to your response.--C.Logan 19:39, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Would you mind sharing the reasons behind your change of belief? I'm interested.--C.Logan 22:29, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Here you go: chokesamfreedman@msn.com (don't ask). This should make for an interesting read, as you seemed pretty serious about your beliefs from what I'd seen before.--C.Logan 22:40, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Could you send it to me too? You can enable e-mail here and then send me one. Arrow740 23:50, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- As a former Muslim myself, I'd like to join the bandwagon and ask for it as well.--Kirby♥time 16:58, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- Kirbytime comes across as a fervent current Muslim. Arrow740 17:48, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- I find this funny. Can you prove it?--Kirby♥time 15:11, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:LVishnu.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:LVishnu.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:36, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Motherdurga.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Motherdurga.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:01, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Non-free use disputed for Image:LVishnu.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:LVishnu.jpg. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.)
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Emperor Genius (talk) 05:52, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File permission problem with File:Steinfeld2.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Steinfeld2.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:36, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
