Anchor links
At Glossary of anime and manga I noticed that you recently changed some anchor links. For example this edit changed {{Anchor|Bakunyu}} to {{va|bakunyū}}. Note that anchor links are sensitive to capitalization, so the change from capital to lowercase broke several incoming links to the glossary-anchors page. This particular edit also changed the diacritics, so this particular anchor broke on two character mismatches. I've edited all incoming links to Glossary of anime and manga to match the new anchor links, so there's nothing more to do regarding this page. However if you have made any anchor edits on other pages you should check whether there are be any broken links anywhere else, and either restore the anchors or change all incoming links to match. Alsee (talk) 06:33, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
- Alsee, you can add back caps to any broken anchors. That's fair to do. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:31, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Cheesecake Day
Please check Cheesecake Day again and let me know your feedback. As a fan of Daily fun holidays, I am trying to add content and update Wikipedia with reliable information and sources. Cheesecake day is one of the top trending daily holidays and since there are pages for days like National deep fried clams day that has less content and is less relevant and less popular, it exists. So I just added more resources and information to show it's relevance. Please let me know on holidays like this if there is something in particular that I am missing? Why are do some unofficial holidays have a page and others get rejected? Cheesecake day is one of the most commonly known of the food days. I just think it should have a page :) Just trying to learn and get it right so I know when I should try to add pages for these days and when I shouldn't. Thanks! (April2029 (talk) 08:35, 28 July 2019 (UTC))
- April2029, please find some news articles that discuss it in detail and where it wouldn't be just another entry on the List of food holidays. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:03, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Biography entry for Remy Zero and The Church guitarist Jeffrey Cain
AngusWOOF, Thank you for the feedback. I am fairly new to this but would like to be more active and help fill in the gaps on some musical and art subjects. You did mention that more news articles like al.com would be good as references. I had included data off the Official Emmy website as I thought that was as close to the source as possible. Did i iclude it the correct way? Would it be better for me to include articles from larger magazines such as Rolling Stone and Spin? Thank you!
- Yes, please include mainstream news articles and magazine articles that cover Cain in detail but are not mainly Q&A interviews since that would be a primary source WP:PRIMARY. The Emmy one shows he got nominated, but doesn't provide significant coverage on him. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:47, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Another message of thanks
Thank you once again Angus :) This is what I truly appreciate!! I have resubmitted the article The Key and want to also say thank you for listening in regards to my last message to understand and take on board the article so I appreciate that. I noticed you did an edit on the page to help try improve it (again thank you!!). I wasn't sure if you meant you wanted me to re-do lead sentence or if that was referencing what you had kindly done (again, thank you!) however it's now back in the submission and if you do mean you want the lead sentence re-done please kindly advise as I'm a little unsure what to do there with this and thank you!! Again, you're a great contributor here who is very fair and works hard to get things right which is something I sincerely appreciate so thank you!! :) Music Editor 2017 (talk) 15:05, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
Just to add Angus, can you advise which part needs references for? It's quite difficult due to the album being from back in 1995/1996 (if only the internet was around back then there would be tons) however I have added a lot of sources there. The Prince reference is there now also with the significant Paisley Park recording also as well as some book sources too. Been working on this since the beginning of January really hard so have worked to get it right but it's becoming difficult now due to what I mentioned above due to when the album was released (again, if the internet had have been around back then we would very easily have tons for this), there's only so much when only so much is shared online that it's becoming too hard now to find any more sources but there is a lot there from books to billboard to chart watch, reviews, muzik magazine, BBC etc.. it's becoming very difficult now when pretty much every source that's been put online is there. Thanks Music Editor 2017 (talk) 19:44, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- Music Editor 2017, reviews from magazines at the time would be best. Rolling Stone, Billboard, Melody Maker, NME, Spin? News articles are also okay. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:37, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, is there a source where I could look for these? There is no doubt coverage within some of those mentioned (I've sourced a couple of Billboard) however as I was saying earlier it's difficult to find because the album was released in 1995/1996 time but if they've not archived it online, it's not possible to find. I've found pretty much everything I can on this album since working on this from January (news, books etc..) but with the album being back then online sources aren't as extensive as they would have been had the internet have been around the way it is now back then which is why I find this difficult. I think there has to be some give and take with things like this with older albums, as long as some sufficient sources are there some leeway should be given as it's much more difficult with older albums, specially in this situation as mentioned in my previous thanks message (I wanted to kindly explain this to you so that you'd get a good idea of this). The album is notable but it's just difficult to find archived features other than the one's I've already got, which there is quite a lot of already, if we can find them by all means will add them but it's highly unlikely they'll be archived online which is the problem. Just some give and take really I think but hope this helps :) Music Editor 2017 (talk) 14:55, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, can you kindly follow up on this Angus when you get a moment and thank you. No rush but I need you help here when you have some spare time to kindly do so, please be so kind to read the last message above (I realise you may have missed this). Thank you so much for your kind help as I've worked on this a long time and it's truly sincerely appreciated!! :) Music Editor 2017 (talk) 15:21, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
Title
Can you please change the title of the draft NM5* to NM5 please. thank u. Barbie Tingz (talk) 17:31, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- Barbie Tingz, do you have sources that confirm that will be the new title? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:37, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
No Barbie Tingz (talk) 17:41, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
I meant NM5* Barbie Tingz (talk) 17:44, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- Barbie Tingz, we need to find out what the new title of the album will be. If it's going to stay at NM5* then no need to rename. If it's going to be something else, then it will be that other title. NM5 can redirect to NM5*. Right now there aren't enough sources to make this an actual article yet so the redirect to the discography or to Minaj will stay for now. Genius isn't a reliable source. Request on 19:02:30, 30 July 2019 for assistance on AfC submission by ZTSystemsMarcom
Hello! Thanks for reviewing my submission for ZT Systems. Unfortunately, there's little secondary coverage of ZT due to our business model, however the company is substantially larger and more notable in our industry than many of the companies listed at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_computer_system_manufacturers#Current as you can see based on the mentions in the several published, reliable, secondary sources I included. I can resubmit under this account if necessary; please reconsider approval.
Also: I have removed references to 'solutions' and resubmitted, hope that helps.

Kashmiri, I sent this note to the editor who set up the article in mainspace. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:20, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
I created a draft about this person and I added all news I found. The draft is an English translation of the french Page :
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Foote
This can be notable for inclusion.
Last time, I created a French page (Eutelsat 21B) and it was accepted for inclusion :
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eutelsat_21B
Plz note i had just translated the French to the English for creating the Draft:Ian Foote
An another draft can be sumbited look :
https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Plan%C3%A8te_Rap
Plz check the drafts and sumbit it. I need you to sumbit the Ian Foote draft to insert a citation to this page :
https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Thierry_Roland — Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.122.250.15 (talk) 11:27, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- 196.122.250.15, you're still missing the point. You need WP:THREE sources to show he is a notable referee, and not from just one event that does not have a long-lasting impact years later. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:28, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
I added three sources from Dutch language Wikipedia page plz sumbit it.
https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Ian_Foote
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Foote
This draft can be moved to the article space. I added sources and it's a notable referee. I translated from the French page to the English :
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Foote — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.253.215.209 (talk) 12:23, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
I want to recreate this draft with statistics like this :

- 197.253.211.219, statistics charts won't help. It needs reliable news sources that significantly cover his career. See Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Ian Foote AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:47, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
I want you remove the protection because I have reliable news about this referee.

I will adding 4 notable matches in carrer category — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.253.242.119 (talk • contribs)
- 197.253.242.119 I can't remove the protection. You can't use Everybodywiki.com to source information. That is not a reliable source. You're still referencing the same crappy sources that got this article deleted. Please find others from news sources that aren't the obituaries but cover his career in detail. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:37, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- 197.253.242.119, read the comments in Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Ian Foote, especially Worldbruce's comments. You need reliable sources, not the same ones that you have been listing on my page over and over. All you have been providing is the obituary and WP:ROUTINE coverage of the ref in various matches. That just isn't enough. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:43, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Hi Mr. AngusWoof. I am editing a page called Claire Celsi and submitted a new source for employment. Is it sufficient? Also, what is the best way to go about obtaining a photo for the article. I am new to Wikipedia. Please reply with your advice. Thank you so much. Brandie Brandieport17 (talk) 15:29, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
- Brandie, you can try to make a picture request at WP:FFU and refer to one of the pictures she might have in the .gov public domain? You should also add more news sources; see my comments on the draft. Some more articles from The Des Moines Register, Sioux City Journal, and other places would be good. Also info on her primaries and whether she ran for other positions prior to 2018. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:41, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Hi Mr. AngusWoof (bark sniff)
Can you please look over the edits I made to the Claire Celsi article? I also found a public domain photo.
Thanks, Brandie ;-) Brandieport17 (talk) 22:55, 14 July 2019 (UTC)
- Brandieport17, the photo still needs copyright permissions. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Senator_Claire_Celsi.png State gov material isn't public domain like US. Please answer their concerns there on Commons. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:44, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
Draft: National Democratic Training Committee
Hi AngusWOOF! You had declined my submission due to a lack of sources. I've cut it down and put in a bunch of sources. Can you give me any more feedback so I can make the edits to get approved? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacobvurpillat (talk • contribs) 21:45, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
- Jacobvurpillat, Please add more context as to when it was created and how influential it is. Does it train politicians at which levels? Is it indeed national? Is it connected to the Democratic Party (gets funds / support or vice versa) or is it for any party in US? When was it founded? Who founded it? How is it organized? What is the public perception of the group from both parties and the general public? What are some of its historical events? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:25, 23 July 2019 (UTC)

Draft: Safety Sign
Hi AngusWOOF, User:The Navigators would like to discuss with you about us declining his draft, Draft:Safety sign as " I could make the improve the article a bit more from the original submission, and put together a split proposal to take non-traffic warning signs from the existing Warning sign article, this would be a suitable article". I believe that his draft is different enough from the existing article, Warning sign to be its own article.
Thank you, --BoothSiftTalks 00:33, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
Boothsift, see the split proposal at Talk:Warning_sign#Splitting_proposal_-_Non-traffic_warning_signs/wet_floor_signs_(Safety_signs). That one's been around for months, so you don't need to add a second proposal. It looks like there aren't any objectiions with splitting this. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:52, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

- You can edit it down, and move the gallery if appropriate. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 06:11, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll take a look at it today or tomorrow. I think that covers everything, and we can call this matter closed, unless there's anything you or @Boothsift: can think of. Thanks to both of you for your assistance.--The Navigators (talk) 10:48, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Draft:Oscar Randal-Williams
Thanks for your comment on my draft!
I want to note that the position of reader in the UK is comparable to full professor in the US, see the corresponding Wikipedia Article on this topic. "The title of reader in the United Kingdom [...] denotes an appointment for a senior academic with a distinguished international reputation in research or scholarship."
So I do not understand why in your opinion, it does not meet the Wikipedia standards for academics.
- Reader is placed with associate professor, as opposed to named / distinguished, but please build up your case on either the talk page or the article comments section so other reviewers can see. You can go into detail there like how Pan Kim in the thread above was constructed. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:44, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

AngusWOOF, I have made the recommended changes to the draft I submitted. I would appreciate it if you could re-review it. Would you mind checking it out? Well, it does look better now ain't it? At first it was like movie commercial :D Regards Mithoron (talk) 00:23, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Mithoron, it's still just one role, doesn't meet WP:ENT which requires multiple starring ones in major productions. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:37, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Well, I count 3 significant roles, in The Love Witch, Cam and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. OK, in Once... it's not a big role, but the movie is "big". There's also one in preproduction and one in postproduction - both starring (and small one filming). So I think she really "broke through". Mithoron (talk) 23:05, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Of these, only Love Witch is a major role. The others are major productions, but she doesn't have star/poster billing in either of these. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:14, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Sigh, it can wait a year or two for these additional credits, if you wish, but I hope nobody nukes this draft in te meantime (like earlier one abot this actress) Mithoron (talk) 23:32, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Mithoron, it can continue to be worked on while more credits or news articles come in. Drafts get archived after 6 months of inactivity but can be retrieved from there if it goes that long without significant edits. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 12:39, 5 August 2019 (UTC)

Commented out entries on dab page?
Hey. When you made Good Together a disambiguation page, why did you comment out several entries? [1] Scarlet Pleasure and Kelvin Jones (singer) had articles then, with the former having the song title mentioned at the page. Ss112 03:02, 5 August 2019 (UTC)

Musical Artist Running Late
Hey there AngusWOOF! I read your comments about needing to add more external sources that are not affiliated with the band's website or Patch articles, and added a significant amount of new sources into the reference list. They range between official newspapers features to articles written by reputable independent sources. If there's anything else that needs to be done then please feel free to inform me, hope to talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 22:31, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, it's still sourced by local papers, and is mostly Q&A interviews. Any others that are independent? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:41, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
Any others as in additional news sources that aren't strictly Q&A and are local papers? I can look to see if other towns or news outlets have written anything else on them. Their tour history indicates quite a bit of activity across the east coast, so ill look into it more. Question though, what is your view on the strength of local media to the band? If its a viable criteron, I can probably find more articles pertaining to them in paper or online. Hope to talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 22:53, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, I'm trying to see how it can meet WP:MUSICBIO if it doesn't have any songs or albums that have charted. Otherwise it's in danger of being a WP:GARAGE band AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:12, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
Hey AngusWOOF! I actually just found a Channel News12 television feature of the band which covered another benefit show they did in Jersey City, would this constitute viability for being noteworthy?
Also, I looked at the Criterion for WP:MUSICBIO and honestly see this subject qualifying under 2 circumstances: 1) Has become one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style or the most prominent of the local scene of a city; note that the subject must still meet all ordinary Wikipedia standards, including verifiability. - I've provided numerous newspaper articles thus far of them doing quite a number of noteworthy activities for the local scene of the city of Madison, NJ; from coverage about them winning a huge battle of the bands event, to newspaper coverage of them performing for one of the biggest cancer society groups in the nation, which leads to 2) Having won third, second, or first place in a major music competition - the Hard Rock Rising battle of the bands was a nation wide competition, and I would believe this would certainly constitute for this criteria.
Also, even though I too can't find songs or albums from them that have charted, being considered noteworthy under Wikepedia's standards only requires the subject to fulfill one of the criterion correct? Either way; I truly appreciate the clarity on all of these topics, and look forward to talking soon!Janeallen24 (talk) 23:52, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, Hard Rock NYC was a local competition back then: "Hard Rock Cafe New York will host a battle event where local bands The Danbees from Brooklyn, N.Y., Sunill Nareign from Bronx, N.Y., Running Late from Madison, N.J. and Pool Cosby from Brooklyn, N.Y. will be judged by a panel of local industry experts including Frank Bello, the high energy, always-rocking bassist of New York thrash" . I just scrubbed through the news sources. There are a bunch of ones coming from Madison Eagle, which are okay, but the other local news websites such as Patch, TAPinto and It's Revelant are not clear whether they would be reliable sources. The TV broadcast is a passing mention of the band for like 2 seconds. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:19, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Hey AngusWOOF! The live competition back then was more nuanced than just showing up and playing. Everyone who participated in the live battle had to go through a vigorous online voting period which involved thousands of acts. In the Eagle article, it references that the band had to beat out more than 7,000 entries to just make it to the live performance at the Hard Rock, which I believe would certainly constitute to scale of a major music competition as per Wikipedia's Criteria 9 for notability.
As per the other sources, I can prune out every article that isn't from The Madison Eagle, along with the information that they cite. That being said, I've discovered an archived TV Interview and performance of the band on a really big cable television show called Mallets Place TV that aired on the east coast and west coat. Is this possible to cite for notability? Thanks for the continued communication, hope to talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 14:02, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, the interview would be another primary source. It needs some secondary ones. If they made the NYT articles for Hard Rock's Battle of the Bands, that would be helpful. But it's not the same level as the 2015 global winner https://blog.reverbnation.com/2015/07/24/announcing-the-winner-of-hard-rock-rising-2015-enemy-planes/ If a news segment focused on the band rather than the fundraiser, that would be significant coverage as well. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:14, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Hey AngusWOOF! Okay, so would you suggest for me in the meantime to compile more information from the Madison Eagle and other reliable local newspapers on the band? Its definitely something I can do, and can get on to doing right away. Also, about how many more local newspaper features would I need to find for you to feel comfortable in this band becoming notable. Thanks again for the communication, hope to talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 14:26, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, it doesn't need more Madison Eagle / New Jersey Hills ones, but you can pursue the other local media stations, television perhaps? Local community news publications would be okay, like the ones that would normally have advertising for real estate people. It's just that Patch and TapInto seem self-published / borderline, but at least they aren't Huffington Post / Forbes contributor sections which are no good WP:RSP. You could leave the Patch / TapInto in there for now. Maybe another AFC reviewer will have a different opinion on them? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:42, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, here's a link to discussion on whether Patch Media is reliable, which seems to be a no. Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_260#patch.com_Patch_Media, Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_88#patch.com_as_a_reliable_source. I'm assuming Tap Into is similar. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:35, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Hey AngusWOOF! Thanks for the clarity on the Patch and Tap Into, I just pruned the page of all questionable sources. Also, I archived a new Madison Eagle article I found that confirms the band headlined the major cancer benefit show for Susan G. Komen in both 2017 and 2018 (which has been added to the reference list).
That being said AngusWOOF, I recently discovered that the band was featured on a pretty major radio station twice: "The Real Radio Show WRCN 103.9FM". They apparently had two singles in rotation: "These Days" and "Stay Awake". This station is apparently an affiliate of Fox News Radio, and broadcasts internationally. The station is also apparently licensed with ASCAP, BMI, and Sound Exchange. What are your thoughts as to the notability of this, considering that is also leans on Criteria 11 of Musician Notability? Thanks again for all of the help thus far, hope to talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 18:46, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Janeallen24, WRCN playlist isn't in national rotation like some of those Cumulus stations or nationally syndicated radio shows (NPR, Dr. Demento), but it helps a little bit. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:15, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Hey AngusWOOF! Okay cool, if it helps even a little, ill add it and cite it into the draft under the appropriate sections. Also, Ive uncovered television footage of them performing on a pretty big cable television show called "Mallets Place TV". The show apparently broadcasts to markets in both the east and west coast, and are associated with Time Warner Cable. What are your thoughts for this? Thank you once again for the continued communication, talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 22:42, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
AngusWOOF Unfortunately I cannot find the actual audio of their tracks being played on their station, only the dates that the songs were on rotation from sources that probably don't meet these standards of reliability. UPDATE: I've found a crude audio recording of their feature on The Real Radio Show, which also includes the station playing their single "These Days" live on air along with an interview. I can't find evidence of their second feature on the show, but I've archived the audio and have it cited for their song "These Days" in the draft. Looking forward to your thoughts on this.
In other news, I archived the band's footage that I found from their performance on "Mallets Place TV", which has been cited and is currently in the draft. Since this television program technically aired nationally, and is a product of Time Warner Cable, I'm looking forward to your thoughts on how this addition contributes towards notability as per Critera 12 of musician notability. Thanks again for the continued communication, talk soon! Janeallen24 (talk) 23:57, 5 August 2019 (UTC)

Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev Draft
It's unfortunate that you rejected this draft. It's a major and growing topic in quantum gravity, the original paper has hundreds of citations, and it was already referenced in several places in Wikipedia, which I have wikified. I will add to it when I can, but I don't know when that will be. Mporter (talk) 08:25, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
- Mporter, if it is a growing topic, it should be discussed as such in more newspapers, magazines and journals. Also the SYK article needs context as to how the term came about and how it was coined and adopted in the community. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:37, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
CHICHI7YT's Wikipedia Drafts
You declined Draft:Welcome Tour because it needs more news sources about the tour that aren't coming from fan sites. However, I've been having difficulty finding news sources about the tour that aren't from fan sites. Could you help me please? CHICHI7YT (talk) 00:39, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, how about more newspapers or magazines? If the fan site has archives of news clippings covering the show you can cite those newspaper writeups. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:33, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, my main source for the draft was this. However, the page doesn't show news clippings, only posters for gigs. I don't think posters are a reliable source for a Wikipedia article. CHICHI7YT (talk) 02:58, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, posters and Santana's website only show that they toured. If there are magazine writeups or news clippings that would be better. They can be offline, but they need to be articles that someone who has access to them at a library or whatever can dig up . Look for headlines like "Santana announces Welcome Tour." or "Santana Welcome Tour" How did you know that they changed lineups on a certain venue? Or that they played to 65,000 people at a certain place. There must be news articles for stuff like that.AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:41, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, Here's a nice collection put together by a fan site for The Band when they toured with Bob Dylan in 1974. [2] If there's something similar, you could cite those news articles. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:09, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, it turns out the info about Santana changing lineups on a certain venue comes from a memoir by Carlos Santana called The Universal Tone: Bringing My Story to Light. It is okay if I use that book as a reference? CHICHI7YT (talk) 19:23, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, it would be a primary source, but it at least has information that he publicized. A biography for Santana would be secondary and could be used for that too. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:16, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, should I add citations for pages I used in the books for reference? CHICHI7YT (talk) 01:37, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, you can if it helps. There's a way to do so like with Anthony Field. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:27, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, I added a citation to a page I used in Santana's autobiography for reference. So what now? CHICHI7YT (talk) 20:45, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, are there any news articles that call it the Welcome Tour? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:13, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, no. The Welcome Tour is how I call the tour, because it started shortly after the release of Welcome. I guess a better name for the tour is "Santana North American Tour 1974" or something. CHICHI7YT (talk) 21:18, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, then yes, the name of the article should be "Santana 1974 North American Tour" or "Santana North American Tour 1974" or "Santana North American Tour (1974)" (like The Beatles' 1966 US tour), not "Welcome Tour". If you have news articles calling it as such, then that would work. It really needs some news article that has verbiage like: Santana launches the Santana North American Tour in (city). The tour will run from (date range) and visit (number) cities " AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:27, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- But AngusWOOF, how do I rename the article? Also, most of the info about where and when they toured came from posters from 1974 gigs. CHICHI7YT (talk) 23:26, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, I can eventually rename it, just tell me what you want it to be at the header. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:24, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, I want the draft to be renamed "Santana North American Tour 1974". CHICHI7YT (talk) 20:26, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, thank you for renaming the draft. I have made some articles on Wikipedia, but the articles I made that I'm most proud of are Santana Tour and Santana III Tour. How are those articles, and if you approve of them, what elements from those articles should I incorporate into my draft? CHICHI7YT (talk) 22:24, 6 July 2019 (UTC)

CHICHI7YT, I went ahead and accepted it. I found a site that has a pile of posters and ticket stubs for 1974. There isn't an official name for the tour, but it is clear they went on tour during that time. There are some tour dates in March you might want to add. Also some co-headlines with Golden Earring band as notes. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:53, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you so much AngusWOOF. The website that has a pile of posters and ticket stubs for 1974 was Santanamigos.com! I usually use that site for tour date information when I'm making Santana tour articles. CHICHI7YT (talk) 22:57, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
- However, in the beginning, you declined the page because I relied on fan sites too much, but Santanamigos is a fan site. Also, I wont be adding the March shows to the page because those dates were for a separate tour by Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin unrelated to this North American tour and the Caravanserai Tour. CHICHI7YT (talk) 23:06, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, sorry about the circular part. The posters are helpful, but I wanted to make sure it had more newspaper articles like the other fansite for The Band. You might want to mention the separate tour in the descriptions so that they aren't wondering what happened in that gap. Also noting that they toured with Earth Wind & Fire in 1975 in Europe for 42 dates. [3] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:26, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
AngusWOOF, there is another Wikipedia draft I made. This draft has been awaiting review for two months already. Like Santana North American Tour 1974, this draft is about a concert tour by Santana, but this draft includes more references and an image. This draft is called Draft:Caravanserai Tour. Will you be able to review it? CHICHI7YT (talk) 15:56, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, similar issue as previous. I don't see any places where they refer to the specific tour under that name. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:53, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
Draft:Absolute Carnage
Hello there, I recently elaborated on Draft:Absolute Carnage and I want to know your opinion. Just to be clear, I modeled the draft after the War of the Realms article, just letting you know. Penguin7812(Talk Page) 07:02, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF:, I don't know if you had read my message or not, what is your opinion on this? Penguin7812(Talk Page) 05:15, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
- Penguin7812, any more comics related reviews? Those are helpful. And, of course, any reviews from mainstream media. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/References for a list of what are good or other sources. I'd stay away from "contributor" type places like Forbes, Medium, Goodreads. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:58, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
Cradle draft
Hey! I noticed that on my draft, you commented it had too much extra information, and I was wondering if you could elaborate on which parts I should remove/cut down or are not needed. Thanks! Purreader (talk) 18:48, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
- Purreader, the main thing is that you need to find book reviews for the series from notable sites and journals such as Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, New York Times and Kirkus. As for what to trim down, I would remove the Magic system part as that reads like gamecruft. The summaries should be shortened to film length (less than 700 words, preferably 400). It should not be a copy of the text on Wikia, even though Wikias are freely licensed, there is concern it may have copy-pasted someone else's summary and review. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:35, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
Oh, maybe I should have asked about this first... it's a self-published book, and although it's very well-known and popular on the Kindle Store and in the fantasy world, it is not listed on the websites you mentioned because it does not have a publisher. I have found other reviews and interviews, but they are not on as well-known sites. Is it still eligible, or should I cut my losses and go? (I didn't copy anything from the wiki, just linked it for people to read more) Purreader (talk) 08:49, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, I checked and the only way this particular series would qualify is by the reviews. It is quite commonly reviewed, just not by sources as well-known as the ones you mentioned. Would that be enough? Purreader (talk) 15:49, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Review still in process?
Hi AngusWoof
We finished editing this page https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Nora_Herting on April 30 but there hasn't been any approval/decline status update. Any thing I should do at this point? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhashiva (talk • contribs) 14:40, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
- Rhashiva, what's with the "we"? Are you representing Herting's organization? If so, you need to declare COI. WP:COI AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:29, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Rhashiva, any AFC reviewer can take a look. It doesn't have to be me. Hopefully they can get around to it. I'm still a bit suspicious about news articles where it's coming partly from a primary source such as the SXSW organization itself. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:30, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Rhashiva, please disclose whether you are connected to Herting or her organization/company in any way. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:44, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
Draft:TemplateMonster
Hi, I re-wrote the article in order to make it more neutral and connected the links. Could you please have a look? Thanks. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:TemplateMonster
- Desquark, there are still a pile of links at the bottom that aren't connected to the article. Also how you are citing the references needs to be cleaned up. Do you have some articles that are independent of the subject but cover it in detail beyond the press releases / general acquisition news? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:39, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
AngusWOOF Thanks, I made the History section more readable, added extra facts, connected all the links and removed some of them. Also, added the Criticism section. Desquark (talk) 12:26, 13 August 2019 (UTC) AngusWOOF Any chance you could review the article once again, after the changes I made last time? Thanks Desquark (talk) 09:59, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

- 196.114.166.12, you need more external news sources that focus on the particular channel and how it is distinct from Planete (TV channel). Otherwise it would merge there as one of its related channels offered. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 12:04, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
I fixed a mistake in this draft, plz move it to the article space. I mentionned the channel is a part of Planète Group but the channel is a part of Planète channels.

- 45.219.181.200, fixing which Planete group it is part of doesn't make the channel independently notable from those articles. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 11:47, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
I want you move this draft in the article space because I added all about this TV channel. This is a notable TV channel.

This site is from the owner of the channel (Canal+ Group). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.114.110.76 (talk) 12:39, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- 196.114.110.76, you're still not showing external news sources evidence that the channel should have a separate article from the network article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:27, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

Request on 19:12:53, 12 August 2019 for assistance on AfC submission by Milan von Brunn
Thank you for your write up
I will edit as per your suggestion and Wikipedia guidelines
As far as the "this is not a biography" - we have read dozens of similar Wikipedia entries before we wrote our entry. All entries of athletes, artists, or people in general, are written as biography-like structure ( a.i. Early Life, Education, Career, Family, Personal life, etc ). In fact we have copied one Code structure from existing Wikipedia page, edited out the info, and added our information. So not sure how we will proceed with description of Artist's life, and avoid to write details about Artist's life.
We will continue with editing our entry Thank you very much ! Milan von Brunn (talk) 19:12, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Milan von Brunn, as it stands, it reads like a resume. There is no biography section, just a list of his works. If you're going to write up a biography, it needs to be different from his official website ones and it should be cited to external news sources independent of the subject. See WP:NOTRESUME and WP:CREATIVE. Also since your username is the same as the artist, you need to declare your conflict of interest up front and read through WP:COI. Alameda Council confusion
Hi, I saw you marked Alameda Council for speedy so Draft:Alameda Council could be moved to mainspace, but you also declined Draft:Alameda Council at AFC, so I'm rather confused. If Draft:Alameda Council is not ready for mainspace I don't want to delete the redirect at Alameda Council, because it seems like a good redirect. Is Draft:Alameda Council ready to be moved? If so let me know and I'll take care of it. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 17:57, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

I didn't find a reliable source other than discogs for their 2006 album (connected 10 years). So I think that we can remove it and it will be OK. Don't you think so ?
And yes, Hustlers Convention is an alias for the same music duo. We could combine the two articles.
Regards,
Saunderson Anreef (talk) 18:52, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
- Saunderson Anreef, I would leave out any albums that aren't covered by reliable sources and only keep ones where it's discussed. If there's some biography detail saying this is Hustlers Convention's second studio album, then it's okay to list those. I also agree with combining Hustlers Convention to the Full Intention article and to include a section on Hustlers Convention there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:27, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Saunderson Anreef, I have redirect Hustlers Convention to the Full Intention article. Please help develop the bio there so it discusses both. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:50, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
Draft:Alameda Council
Thanks for looking at the draft. I'm perplexed. The article has existed for six years. Someone moved it from the article space and too the draft space. It may be a short article, but it has enough citations to be notable. It is a 100 year old non-profit. In any case, I simply would like to see it moved back to article status. Thanks. --evrik (talk) 22:38, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

Hey AngusWoof! I've made some edits to my draft since the last time you looked at it. Do you mind taking another look and seeing what else we can do to put it in a place to be approved? --Jacobvurpillat (talk) 22:47, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Jacobvurpillat, I'm still not seeing a balanced tone on the reception. So it was criticized, but by whom, when, and how? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:05, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Jacobvurpillat, I've gone ahead and accepted the article, but am leaving the COI tag on there until another editor can scrub it for neutrality. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:48, 16 August 2019 (UTC)

Unacademy company promotion article
Hello AngusWOOF, As my article "fabgrades" was removed on july 30, I have something to say about it. Firstly , I had no intention of misusing wikipedia through promoting my company through wikipedia. I had created the page on wikipedia because I found a page of similar company on wikipedia. here is the link :https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Unacademy , This company offers paid courses and charges its users . You can see the warning notices on the wikipedia article of unacademy . as the content is promotional . I donot charge for any service . - Are you questioning whether Unacademy is notable? You could tag that for notability or raise an AFD on it. The article has the COI paid tag on it and can't be removed until the article is neutralized by someone unconnected to the subject. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:10, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
- @OpenSourceLearningIndia: I would not have seen this discussion if your inclusion of a bare db-g7 template in a copy of AngusWOOF's message to you had not put this whole user talk page into Category:Candidates for speedy deletion by user yesterday. Now that I've seen your article about your company, which was deservedly deleted per {{db-g11}} as a blatant advertisement of your company's services, and compared that to the Unacademy article, there is, as the saying goes, no comparison. The Unacademy page is nearly encyclopedic, meaning suitable for an encyclopedia, with several citations of reliable sources. It is not a business listing by any stretch of the imagination. – Athaenara ✉ 00:41, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
Article Name for S7000A
@AngusWOOF Thanks for the name change, but should it go back to "S7000A (tax law)"?
The reason I added the part about New York State is that many people do not know the bill names.
But it is in the New York State taxation category, so maybe that will help.

Why was my article declined?
Hi.
A few months ago you rejected an article that I submitted, called “List of largest Cities in the UK”. At the time I was told that my article was too similar to other articles so it was not worth publishing.
However, a few weeks ago, another article, “List of cities and towns in the United Kingdom by population“, which had almost the exact same, or very similar at the least, was accepted and submitted. I was very annoyed when I found that article, and I want to know why mine was declined but that article was accepted.
I don’t know who accepted the article, so I am not blaming anyone in particular, but I would wish to know why my article was rejected but a similar one accepted, especially as I spent ages on the article.
I would appreciate it if you found out why and responded.

Commonspoly citation update
Hi @AngusWOOF,
My article was declined for insufficient citations. I have added a few more third party citations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123survesh (talk • contribs) 09:33, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
I was searching online for reliable sources, I could only find blogs, mostly of people inviting other people to play the actual game and talking about it. I couldn't find any news paper level publishing. Do see if the ones that I found hold good, I think they are from reputable resources. The alternative UK The P2P Foundation's blog A blog by Waag.org
I thought that a commons game like this should have its own page on wikipedia. I do understand that wikipedia is a public knowledge portal and doesn't work based on individual likes and dislikes. So if the above citations are not good enough I understand the situation and I will just add it as an alternative to monopoly as suggested. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123survesh (talk • contribs) 09:30, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
- 123survesh, see Wikipedia:Reliable sources and WP:RSP on what sources are good. Blogs are usually not reliable, especially forum posts, but sometimes the authors of the blogs are reliable / notable, and sometimes it's one by the primary source. The variants page would be a good place for the game. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:48, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
AngusWOOF A new page was created by COI editor User:Deenos3, who has declared COI on his user page. The new content seems to pass WP:GNG and has WP:RS. I have manually moved content from Ritesh Agarwal (entrepreneur) to Ritesh Agarwal. I am not 100% sure it was done correct and there is also a draft page Draft:Ritesh Agarwal for it. Can you please look into this? Meeanaya (talk) 08:02, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
- Meeanaya, normally we would use AFCH to process drafts, but since the editor, who may or may not be different from the draft editor, has directly created the page and you moved it from mainspace to mainspace. I would leave the COI tag on unless another editor has neutralized it for self-promotional tone. Also see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ritesh Agarwal and remove any claims of notability / awards mentioned there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:44, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, it seems that someone has pulled Ritesh Agarwal page down again based on 2016 AFD. It seems that they have not reviewed the sources which were indepth. The current page has in-depth sources and sufficient RS to qualify for a Wiki page. Can you please look into this? Even, I was not the page creator however someone has added it on my talk page. I don't have enough experience or really not sure what can be done, but yes I truly believe, he is one of the most notable entrepreneur in the country. Meeanaya (talk) 04:46, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Meeanaya, I would merge it into the Oyo Rooms article. A lot of Agarwal's life can go into that since that's his main business. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:44, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, I have just filed an undeletion request here. Meeanaya (talk) 05:48, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Meeanaya, it's now being discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ritesh Agarwal (2nd nomination) AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:36, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, I have added my detailed review and why he is notable and deserves a page at AFD. I won't be voting anywhere with a default mindset but yes after a detailed review. Meeanaya (talk) 04:24, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
- Meeanaya, it's in mainspace now, so you can trim his sources to just the quality external secondary sources now. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:59, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Draft:Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Projection Design
Hi AngusWOOF
This is the second time and second editor to decline this article. While I agree that the subject may not in and of itself be worthy of its own article when viewed in a vacuum, if one looks at the larger context of how entertainment industry award wikipedia pages are structured, I believe it makes sense.
In most of the various award pages one can't find sources specifically for individual award categories. If there were, I would have included them. Having said that, Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play is of similar import and yet has its own page. The Lucille Lortel Awards award have been around for 33 years and currently has 20 categories. Clearly when all these categories are fleshed out, the main page would become unwieldy.
Including everything in the main award page is not scalable and does not in fact seem to be standard operating procedure for wikipedia awards entries
Check out the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lyrics, the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing or the Tony Award for Best Choreography. They too are without sources specific to the exact topic and yeah all of these awards have individual pages for each award category.
If you still disagree, is there a path for review by a larger group of editors?
Thanks for your consideration.
148.75.165.78 (talk) 04:37, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- 148.75.165.78, as discussed on your talk page, the award isn't independently notable from the collection of awards. Please provide sources otherwise. You can also discuss whether they should be split at the awards talk page. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:08, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
DJ Maxwell D Draft article -
Hi Angus,
would appreciate some guidance here as you have declined the article. I have spent some considerable time getting collecting the other reference points for this internationally famous Rap/Grime artist who has not only charted but collaberated with Ruwanga on a regular basis on hollywood and net flix movie sound tracks. he is also acknowlaged as one of the founders of the UK Grime scene and is discussed in 3 respected books on the subject. all of which i have referenced.
I am at a loss to understand what else is neaded as there are many less notible entries on the wiki - appreciate your advice and help.

- (talk page watcher) Honorablesculpturesinc, the simplest way to change your username is probably to go to Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple, click the blue bar there, and fill in the name you want to use and your reason for requesting the change. Madara Uchiha draft
Just found two more sources involving reviews where they praised Madara's debut in the anime here and here. I guess I'll add them once the article is created.Tintor2 (talk) 23:21, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- Tintor2, you can add them to the article. I'm waiting for the redirect to clear before I move the article. Oh, and if you are interested in doing AFC reviews, you can visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation and pick up the helper script WP:AFCH. I actually spend more time there than I do with WP:ANIME these days. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:53, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

- Added another. The coverage of the character's reception is pretty good as I think it surpassed Itachi's article. I tried rearranging some sections per introduction, background with Hashirama Senju, and his role in the series. I also added a source about his English actor but finding the Japanese actor info seems harder.Tintor2 (talk) 20:53, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- How does this work? Whenever I created articles I never went through an AFD or something like that. I think there is enough balance of inuniverse and real world information to make it an appealing article that just needs to tide up some prose issues from reception. I already discussed with the user what's the best image to use in the infobox as Kishimoto did one in color that cover most of his body.Tintor2 (talk) 00:44, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- Now that I check it, the more reviews we make the more chances Madara's draft will be checked earlier? Do I have to become a participant for this?Tintor2 (talk) 00:10, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
- Tintor2, I'm waiting for the redirect to be cleared out, then I can move it. In the meantime, I marked it as under review, but you can keep fixing it up (don't worry too much about under review notice for now). AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:16, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

- which talk page? link? --SacredDragonX (talk) 06:12, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- that's one other person from a year ago, and a second person speaking some gibberish I can't make out. That's not exactly what I would call "consensus". However, I do agree that the character lists are pretty poor content, and will try to get more opinions through WP:EAR --SacredDragonX (talk) 07:11, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- SacredDragonX, it's pretty poor consensus as listed, but other editors have chimed in to enforce it as it's one of those indiscriminate lists that can't be maintained. The sourcing provided was mainly fan pages or actual visits to the park. I can't remember if Universal Studios Hollywood itself maintained such an official list and if it did, it didn't mark officially when characters were added or removed. The current one is just brief [4] and not comprehensive. If you want to just add some of the current ones and not a full list, I would be okay with that and having it reference the official website. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:00, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- SacredDragonX, I added my comments to that thread. Hope that helps explain my stance. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:32, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

un-welcome 'blockage/declined' to draft version of """our next year's local election info" - https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:2020_Hyndburn_Borough_Council_election
Hello ANGUS,
I have been maintaining each-and-every annual/local borough council election page, for HYNDBURN (Lancashire), for more-than-a-decade & counting.
On election-day itself / every 1st Thursday in May / I am in regular contact with the officials at my local council office, to get the official/final results for each electoral ward (I've previously made the mistake of 'copying down whatever the local press [hurredly] mistypes into their LIVE REPORTING blogs) --- which isn't a problem, as I MYSELF ONCE-TWICE-THRICE stood as a Candidate myself, and in short *** THEY KNOW ME ***
Usually, a week/fortnight/month or so, after the current election ha concluded, I dig up "the results from the previous 3-yr-old election" - I copy n paste into into a draft version of NEXT YEARS election-page, I revise the layout to match whatever NEWER "pips & whistles" have been used to jazz-up THIS year's [template >>> and retro spectively apply those SAME "pips & whistles" to the earlier-previous-3yr-older wiki page, to maintain a STANDARD look-n-feel]
THIS YEAR - however, was the very FIRST AND ONLY TIME, that a singular/random/anonymous person has chosen to ACTIVELY BLOCK the publication of my/our/LOCAL-Hyndburn-2020-Next-Standard-Election-Cycle, wiki-page.
- This is also "MY FIRST TIME", taking up an [issue] with somebody else across the wikipedia-platform ... ... ...
FYI - the very first HYNDBURN-LOCAL-BOROUGH WIKI-PAGE was based on a copy of our (geographcally) neighbouring BURNLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL wiki page .... over the MANY YEARS SINCE, the "HYNDBURN TEMPLATE" has SIGNIFICANTLY ***EVOLVED***, whereas if you browser the Burnely equivalent - you will see that THEY HAVE NOT !
I myself "only tend to the LOCAL BOROUGH COUNCIL / Lowest Tier of Elections" , I DO NOT *mess about with Lancs-County-Council-WIDE wiki-pages (which cover the WHOLE of the Northwest, once every FOURTH YEAR), I only tend to the "1/3rd or seats UP for election, across years 1-2-3 of that SAME 4-year cycle".
FYI - "I" stood in RISHTON-2012 as a Local Ward Council Candidate, was asked to stand as a Lancs-County-Council Candidate in 2013 and stood again as a RISHTON-2014 as a Local Ward Council Candidate ..... I didn't actually get voted IN - however, RISHTON Residents 'still' refer to me as "Councillor Warren".
Respectfully (ANGUS), can you PLEASE remove your objection to the [LIVE] publication of - https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:2020_Hyndburn_Borough_Council_election
NB: EVERY PERSON NAMED "Is the SAME person who WON that exact same seat, 3-years again, and who is STILL sitting/acting as a Local Borough Councillor in HYNDBURN and who --- assuming that they don't DROP OUT AT THE LAST MINUTE / OR SIMPLY DROP DEAD / --- they are also the presumptive nominees for re-election, to those SAME SEATS, come MAY-2020 .... a fact that remains UNCHANGED, since one-day-immediately after the previous MAY-2019-Elections results are 'called'.
Typically, it is only "exactly one calendar month, before the election day" after the final DEADLINE for "last minute entries for New Challengers, Independents, or Public-Notices of a sitting-councillor choosing to STEP DOWN - letting some 'unknown' Candidate's name to 'suddenly appear' on the ballot --- at which time "I" immediately TWEAK THIS "DRAFT PAGE" ACCORDINGLY ---- othwerwise, 9-times-outta-10, its the same old faces&names/time after time.
(ANGUS) "Thankyou for your consideration" ...

Draft:Naijapals
Hello, I noticed you haven't approved the articles I started on Naijapals due to insufficient references, which is understandable. However, I need to point out that collation of references for Nigerian music sites is very tedious and difficult due to the manner which these kind of activities are covered in Nigeria. This perhaps is also the reason why most entries in "Nigerian Music Websites" https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Category:Nigerian_music_websites are not heavily referenced. One the standard of notability, Naijapals should at least have an entry that can be built upon, as it is more significant than the entries on currently in the Nigerian Music Websites category, giving its age, footprint and overall coverage. The references that I used in the article are also independent and very reliable, example is IT realms, which is published by a Not-For-Profit writer, Remmy Nweke - https://icannwiki.org/Remmy_Nweke and other source at Hiphophead.ng. Generally, I believe the type of coverage on this subject might not bear too much online links, but is extremely significant that lack of it will represent an important knowledge gap that is required to be available on Wiki.
- If you can use Nigerian websites that have Wikipedia articles here or major Nigerian newspapers and journals, then stick with those. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:50, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
Please, can you create this page, linked here? For a detailed plot the video is here. Source: Ningyo. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.4.157.99 (talk) 07:00, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

AngusWOOF, Hello! I have made your suggested corrections to the draft Draft:Dwellers (film) in regards to citing sources properly. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help get the article ready. Thank you so much! Thatguy1987 (talk) 14:45, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thatguy1987, thanks, that's helpful. Do you have more mainstream reliable sources that acknowledge the trailer has been made and that filming has completed. The ones posted seem like random blogs that might not be authoritative. Something like Bleeding Cool would be better, and, of course Variety (magazine). Formatting song titles
Hey, AngusWOOF, this is a minor issue but I'm not sure how to format Japanese song titles. Japanese song titles are complicated because they don't have international titles. Which of these would be more acceptable?
- "Into the Daylight (Hikari Sasu Hou e) (into the daylight~ヒカリ射す方へ~)" (transliterated + original title under quotations)
- "Into the Daylight (Hikari Sasu Hou e)" (into the daylight~ヒカリ射す方へ~) (transliterated title in quotations only)
- "Into the Daylight (ヒカリ射す方へ)" (with MOS:JAPAN in mind regarding tildes, and imitating how songs in Korean are formatted)
lullabying (talk) 20:38, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- lullabying, is that for an article or a song list? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:50, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- lullabying, I would go with the second option since we usually transliterate Japanese only titles. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:53, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. I was working on Sweets (band) and was adding the track listing in the albums under a toggle. I did notice that by using the tracklisting template, it formats the songs to option #1 though (see Hito Shizuku as an example). lullabying (talk) 20:59, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- Track listings can vary. I looked at Ikimono-gakari's discography and each album article's song list is slightly different whether they include Nihongo names with the Kanji or not. But most Japanese titles go by the transliteration AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:10, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- You can move the kanji and translation to the notes section if it is a track listing, see DNA (Koda Kumi album) for another way to list it. I might go with these newer versions, unless they have a lot of supporting notes like (feat. AngusWOOF). AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:24, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Review
AngusWOOF you recently review this https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Mashrafe_Biography But I don't understand what is the connection of author with this book. The author is notable or not it’s not the issue. This article about book and the book subject person is also notable. This book is independently notable, what's Wikipedia requirement. All added verified and sources, added two review of this book. And this book is one of the best selling book in 2016 in national book fair. This book deserve independent article 182.54.155.2 (talk) 17:54, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- 182.54.155.2, please go into further detail on the criticism of the book. Add the reviews in a Reception section and the authors (and newspapers) who critiqued the work. That it sold well at a book fair doesn't mean much unless that was a particular book award. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:59, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF: Thanks but the summaries part section I added review link, can I change it to reception and add more info?? and I didn’t found any criticism on this book so how can I add criticism?182.54.155.2 (talk) 18:39, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- 182.54.155.2, I would move the critiques to the Reception section and describe what different writers have thought of his work. (writer1 of magazine1 liked that (criticism1) but thought (criticism1b) ) There should be some balance as to what they thought about the writing. The summary can just be the summary of his book. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:44, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: I found three review which I added in summaries one is from author, one is from espn cricinfo and other is from Ittefaq newspaper. But I don't understand how to write reception. And there have found two sources Where Mashrafe criticism his team mate and coach 1, 2. But I don't understand how to write it, if you have time please write the reception and criticism part from this sources it will be nice to me as I am a beginner. 182.54.155.2 (talk) 19:59, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- 182.54.155.2, I had a sample statement in my previous reply. As for the two sources, that is more pointing out that he criticized his former coaches/teammates/etc, which could go in summary, but what we need is an independent book critic to discuss what he or she thought of the book. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:06, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF: Who's thought?? Mashrafe?? See this link 1. In summaries section there have review but I can not understand how to write as I am not native english.182.54.155.2 (talk) 20:17, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- 182.54.155.2, a comment by Mashrafe isn't really a book review. It might be good to explain whether Mashrafe had a role in the biography, whether he did exclusive interviews with the author, or got to influence what got written about him. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:26, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: can you now check it 182.54.155.2 (talk) 08:10, 5 September 2019 (UTC) AngusWOOF Hlw I added review can you check it now. and can I add his team mates and coach whatever express their feelings on the book lunching occasion in new section 'Book lunching ceremony' just like- “Mahmudullah narrated an interesting anecdote dating back to 2009 after Mashrafe took over as the captain of the Bangladesh cricket team. Mahmudullah recalled how Mashrafe handed over an envelope to each of the players containing inspirational messages and mentioning team’s expectations from them.” & “Tamim Iqbal chose the occasion to thank the captain for supporting him after he was devastated by the widespread criticism during 2015 World Cup.” link 182.54.155.2 (talk) 19:54, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- 182.54.155.2, your reviews section reads like taglines from the website. It should be reformatted in prose and should be neutral. Include things the critics liked and disliked about the biography. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:57, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: Can you neutral it and fix this in prose. I don't know how to neutral it.Thanks 182.54.155.2 (talk) 20:00, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: hlw please help me can you change review section to reception and if you write one reception I will write the next two link which is bengali. Please help me I am not an expert to write it neutral way. I don't found anyone to help me out.182.54.155.2 (talk) 14:05, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- To convert to prose, you write it like how I previously listed. Example: AngusWOOF in an article for Wikipedia wrote that the biography "was quite informative but seemed disconnected from the subject because the author didn't even talk to the subject." I don't know Bengali, but you need to list the author's names. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:18, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF: there have an english link ESPNCricinfo Mohammad islam review if you add one reception then i will add others two, if you can please help me.Thanks for your time182.54.155.2 (talk) 16:30, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF:Sorry but can you review it now please I added reception. And fix if any issue found. Thanks 182.54.155.3 (talk) 04:35, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF: apologise to you for disturb. Can you review now brother. 182.54.155.3 (talk) 17:20, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

Winx Club character
Hi AngusWOOF and sorry to bother you with a long message. I know you've helped out with issues on the List of Winx Club characters page when I was cleaning it up and adding references, so I was wondering if you had the time to weigh in on this discussion. It's a long thread so I'll recap:
When I was sourcing both the main article and the character list, I thought this was a pretty simple statement to source, that the character Roxy joined the Winx Club for the fourth season (as the seventh fairy, after Aisha, to join). I found a lot of sources directly from the show's production companies that specified this: "new entry in the Club", " "Roxy the seventh fairy", "seventh fairy...Roxy will join the Winx group", "Roxy the new Winx fairy", "joins the Club", etc. However, the user Coolak seems to think that Roxy did not join the Club, with their reasoning being that the 2019 version of the website no longer shows Roxy (the same website did feature her during her season) and that there is a sentence on the site that says "Roxy and the Winx" (the same section says "Bloom and the Winx", so I'm not sure how they came to this conclusion).
Even though I've asked many times to continue discussing on the talk page, my newer posts there have been ignored. Since this started in April, I've only wanted a calm/civil discussion to resolve any misunderstandings, but it's been getting a little out of control. Thanks so much. Lagoona Blue (talk) 14:56, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- If it's gotten to the level of edit wars by random IPs then maybe it needs page protection. When I last checked the official website when Season 7 and 8 were active, as well as when World of Winx was broadcast, Roxy had never been given the usual main characters treatment, but if you have older official website material that did list her officially as a main character, then you can cite that and that would help keep her listed in the main characters. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:04, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for the reply, and yes, the 2009-2010 version of the website featured her in the main group at the tops of all pages. Her WinxClub.com bio from back then also called her a new entry in the Club, which is in addition to all the sources I linked above that called her the seventh fairy to join. I'll look into possibly requesting a page protection too. Lagoona Blue (talk) 01:21, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Please Help!
Hi! I saw you decline the page I was trying to create on wikipedia! Ok, Im new on this and I have honestly any idea of how it works and how to have it done! I just know this: The text I add is the text we used on our website which its explain and describe the Lost on You project! The media links are not build by us. Because our hard work and the importance of what we do all those magazines have talked about us. Is not the rolling stone but the person who doesn't know the magazines I mention then have quite a very small knowledge about electronic music.
Lost on You ( the record label) is a project created to help children from poor countries, and since we started in january 2018 we have been donating all the income from our music sales to help children around the world.
This may feel as a promotional page but isn't a promotional page! Our project deserves to have a page here cause each time you write Lost on You all you get is LP song!
I will ask you please to have a search about the project to understand it and to please help us to have a page here.
You are actually the second person who have said its feels like a promotional page but if you guys cant understand our purpose then I don't know what to say.
Help us to spread our mission.
Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mayorgeneraljm (talk • contribs) 17:44, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- Mayorgeneraljm, please read WP:ADVOCACY and WP:COI. The cause or organization needs to be described in a neutral tone. It needs to be referenced by external sources not connected to the subject. Also, as you are connected to the subject, you can do only very limited edits as you have a direct conflict of interest. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:08, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF How can I do that? I don't have anyone to write it for me. Could you please do it? All the external sources I used on the references are well known music magazines on the music industry that have written about the project. If you have a look to our web our facebook you will see what Lost on You does.
- You can make a request over at WP:REQUEST, and list three (WP:THREE) secondary reliable sources that best represent the organization. Or you can rewrite just a short draft that references those sources only, but it has to be completely neutral. No advertising. No "we" stuff. No saying how it is a great organization. It should also be allowed to be criticized (see WP:PROUD). AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:54, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
There's the list with characters, but it's not complete and they don't have their description yet, and a plot. Can you do it with a full translation from ja.wikipedia? Thank you very much. --95.248.236.31 07:34, 4 September 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.248.236.31 (talk)
- 95.248.236.31, I would just list the main characters and scrap the minor ones. You can use Google translate tool if you need to get descriptions from JA as a starting point. For the Napoleon ones, you can just list the main, and then have a paragraph where they reference historical figures, except Napoleon probably is a main assuming the title. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:46, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- 95.248.236.31, if you do translate from JA Wikipeida, I suggest you add
{{Translated page}}
to the talk page. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:52, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I don't have time to do it. For Orpheus, you can fin more details in english here. Please, can you help me? Thank you. --87.4.157.99 06:51, 5 September 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.4.157.99 (talk)

This article was rejected in June. I have made changes as requested. This is only my third article created, so I am new to this. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated! Is there something else I can do? Thx, CW — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crown Weasel (talk • contribs) 15:59, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- Crown Weasel, it might help to identify WP:THREE articles about the author. Also, it would help if it chronologically explains what the author has written and the subjects or genres. Is the author a children's writer? Fiction writer? Non-fiction? Also any critical reception of the writings can go along with the writing. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:52, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

New Page Review newsletter September-October 2019
Hello AngusWOOF,
- Backlog
Instead of reaching a magic 300 as it once did last year, the backlog approaching 6,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
- Coordinator
A proposal is taking place here to confirm a nominated user as Coordinator of NPR.
- This month's refresher course
Why I Hate Speedy Deleters, a 2008 essay by long since retired Ballonman, is still as valid today. Those of us who patrol large numbers of new pages can be forgiven for making the occasional mistake while others can learn from their 'beginner' errors. Worth reading.
- Deletion tags
Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon (you will need to have 'Nominated for deletion' enabled for this in your filters) may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders using Twinkle. They require your further verification.
- Paid editing
Please be sure to look for the tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. WMF policy requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
- Subject-specific notability guidelines' (SNG). Alternatives to deletion
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves once more with notability guidelines for organisations and companies.
- Blank-and-Redirect is a solution anchored in policy. Please consider this alternative before PRODing or CSD. Note however, that users will often revert or usurp redirects to re-create deleted articles. Do regularly patrol the redirects in the feed.
- Not English
- A common issue: Pages not in English or poor, unattributed machine translations should not reside in main space even if they are stubs. Please ensure you are familiar with WP:NPPNE. Check in Google for the language and content, and if they do have potential, tag as required, then move to draft. Modify the text of the template as appropriate before sending it.
- Tools
Regular reviewers will appreciate the most recent enhancements to the New Pages Feed and features in the Curation tool, and there are still more to come. Due to the wealth of information now displayed by ORES, reviewers are strongly encouraged to use the system now rather than Twinkle; it will also correctly populate the logs.
Stub sorting, by SD0001: A new script is available for adding/removing stub tags. See User:SD0001/StubSorter.js, It features a simple HotCat-style dynamic search field. Many of the reviewers who are using it are finding it an improvement upon other available tools.
Assessment: The script at User:Evad37/rater makes the addition of Wikiproject templates extremely easy. New page creators rarely do this. Reviewers are not obliged to make these edits but they only take a few seconds. They can use the Curation message system to let the creator know what they have done.
DannyS712 bot III is now patrolling certain categories of uncontroversial redirects. Curious? Check out its patrol log.
