Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Andrii Moroz, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Andrii Moroz/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Andrii Moroz/sandbox, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Andrii Moroz. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page User:Andrii Moroz/sandbox, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Generally the "Venture Capitalist Day", you obviously have a COI. Please read the above instructions. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 09:02, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:38, 19 June 2024 (UTC)- @Jimfbleak Dear Jimfbleak,
- I am writing to appeal the indefinite block placed on my account (Andrii Moroz). I understand that the block was due to concerns about spam and advertising. I sincerely apologize for any actions that led to this impression.
- Since the block, I have taken significant steps to improve my understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines. I have revised the draft for "Venture Capitalist Day" to include reliable, independent sources and to ensure a neutral point of view. The improved draft now aligns more closely with Wikipedia's standards.
- I am committed to contributing valuable, well-sourced content to Wikipedia and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate this. I kindly request that you review my appeal and consider unblocking my account so that I can continue to contribute positively.
- Thank you for your consideration.
- Sincerely, Andrii Moroz Andrii Moroz (talk) 11:35, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- Since I have been working in the venture industry for more than 7 years, I thought it would be a good idea for everyone in the world to celebrate such a professional holiday, there is no advertising or hidden PR, I just want such a holiday to exist. Andrii Moroz (talk) 11:38, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for ping. There are many problems
- You did not declare your conflict of interest as required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use
- Your text had no in-line references, just a list of unformatted and incomplete documents. I have no idea which facts each is supposed to support
- I have no idea why this is notable. You seem to give us some aspirations, but no real facts. For all your text tells us, it may not exist at all, no evidence that anyone anywhere celebrates this day.
- The text is promotional throughout, eg the role of venture capital in fostering economic growth and technological progress... the importance of venture capitalists in the modern economy...t he significant role of venture capitalists in today's world. The holiday highlights their contributions and inspires future generations of investors and entrepreneurs. Just your opinions, really.
- You had no wikilinks, eg Venture capital, but an inappropriate link to your own LinkedIn page
- You said I thought it would be a good idea for everyone in the world to celebrate such a professional holiday, there is no advertising or hidden PR, I just want such a holiday to exist. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not social media or free advertising. And your text was nothing but promotion of your idea
The procedure for requesting an unblock is in the box above. In the "reason" parameter you should also indicate hat topics you will edit if an uninvolved admin unblocks you Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:16, 19 June 2024 (UTC) or wikilinks
