Hello, I'm AshMusique. I noticed that in this edit to Rod Wave, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AshMusique (talk) 23:33, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 04:08, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It unfortunately is obvious at this point that you ignored the above notice and are purposefully not using edit summaries. Please change your behavior ASAP by implementing an accurate summary as often as possible for your future edits, no matter how big or small the adjustments are. I'm making this comment over a month after the latest one on the topic was made with the same concern. Please refrain from deleting major portions of a page without edit summary, as you did on Dua Lipa. TheXuitts (talk) 05:48, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A quick scan of edits from the last week show that they're not outright vandalism or BLP violations, so it's a very borderline case at this point; WP:AIV will not handle it. It's mostly just lack of edit summaries and minor content changes, and if you're concerned that the editor is intentionally disrupting the articles in question, you can try WP:AN. Pharrell

[edit]

I understand your recent contributions to Pharrell Williams

Such as his occupation and genres

Pharrell Williams
Occupations
  • Record producer
  • songwriter
  • rapper
  • singer
  • fashion designer
  • entrepreneur

It kind of makes sense to list him as a singer first.

Should be formatted like this:

Pharrell Williams
Occupations
  • Singer
  • songwriter
  • rapper
  • record producer
  • fashion designer
  • entrepreneur

Genres are good but he does more than just Hip hop, R&B, pop. Also does pop rap and funk. Funk occasionally. Thank you for understanding. I am not mad. Could rearrange occupation from most notable. BigWarren5 (talk) 15:51, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

T Pain

[edit]

hi, T pain is mostly regarded as an R&B singer, and sometimes he's been called a rapper. DollysOnMyMind (talk) 14:15, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, T-Pain used to be in a rap group called Nappy Headz at the start of his career, so that's why he should be known as a rapper first, then a singer. Plus, he's rapped on some songs such as Chris Brown's "Kiss Kiss", Lil Mama's "Shawty Get Loose", and Ciara's "Go Girl". AndrewTheWikiEditor (talk) 22:01, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Certain things

[edit]

NO. Actually I created the AndrewTheWikiEditorz account to make the threat in the Simple English wiki just so I can recreate a Caillou page on miraheze. The IP range I was using was from Sinlu22's, not saying that I'm a sockpuppet of user Sinlu22. So my IPv6 range won't be blocked for a block evading checkuser block. I hope you understand this AndrewTheWikiEditors (talk) 07:06, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You did what?! Oh, I will definitely have you banned from Wikipedia! AndrewTheWikiEditor (talk) 22:05, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your comment that you wrote on T-Pain page on Simple English Wikipedia. I just wanted to let you something. I have made threats on Wikipedia and I have gotten blocked when I am logged out. And I got blocked for a certain amount of time. I just wanted to tell you something else. When I was logged into my account in the past when I have made threats to certain users on Wikipedia I was blocked indefinitely. Wikipedia can only tolerate so much from people until they have had enough. I have learned this from experience so I know. I have harassed users here in the past under previous accounts and I know for a fact that Wikipedia doesn’t tolerate that. I just wanted to let you know. I'm not trying to be mean to you. But that is what can happen. I am sorry that I had to tell you this. BigWarren5 (talk) 12:47, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Doja Cat. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Thedarkknightli (talk) 13:35, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
