Renaming your account

[edit]

Hi Andreas. I'm afraid that you can't rename your account by simply moving your userpages to a new title. If you'd like to change your username, please file a request at this page instead. Cheers, Yunshui  15:00, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Andraeger. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Andreas Dräger, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Courtesy ping: @Reading Beans and Bearcat: Is this not an obvious COI per the username? Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:35, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for these important hints, rules, and guidelines. I will work hard to obey these best practices. Andreas Dräger (talk) 22:43, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

SysMod moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to SysMod. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:37, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am no longer in charge of SysMod since I stepped down as the responsible chairman in 2022. Now, I am not even among the team of coordinators anymore but an alumni. So, I don't see why I can't write about it. The Logo file is not a copyright issue either. How can this be proved? Please note that there are two publications that indicate the relevance of SysMod and that appeared in a respected journal. If this is not sufficient, I wonder what else is needed?
