Deletion

[edit]

Hello, have you checked Farsi sources? In ictu oculi (talk) 14:40, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@In ictu oculi:, Hello there, I can't find any SIGCOV about him, just passing a mention of him. It would be great if you provide me SIGCOV from RS. Regards. Brayan ocaner (talk) 21:45, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Are you able to read Farsi? In ictu oculi (talk) 22:50, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@In ictu oculi: Of course! Brayan ocaner (talk) 11:04, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited After the Raid, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rodrigo Reyes.

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 05:59, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why you nominated the article for deletion? I provided relaible sources that shows notability!ZanciD (talk) 08:18, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because it was moved to article space after moving to draft space without reviewing. By nomination, I will be checked out completely. Regards. Brian O'Conner 17:57, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Recent-created articles

[edit]

Dear @Narky Blert:, Could you kindly help me to find a page (or category) in Wikipedia to having access to all recent-created articles? In other words, is there a page that the articles which were created recently (were not reviewed) being listed there? Best Regards. Brian O'Conner 11:11, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know for sure, but can suggest where to look or ask. User:InceptionBot looks at and classifies new articles once a day (at around 20:00 UTC), and its owner may have a master list. User:AlexNewArtBot is older but does a similar task, and ditto. Wikipedia:New articles by topic has some possibly useful links. Those lists may include all articles, both unreviewed (either automatically accepted or queued at WP:NPP) and reviewed, but I don't know for certain. If none of that helps, try asking at the WP:TEAHOUSE. Narky Blert (talk) 11:56, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @Narky Blert:, I'm so grateful and appreciate it. I found the answer of my question in TEAHOUSE: Special:NewPages. Regards. Brian O'Conner 21:46, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Brightoutdoor

[edit]

Hello Brayan ocaner. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Brightoutdoor, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article claims importance/significance of the subject. Thank you. SoWhy 09:32, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He literally is notable per WP:NPOL. Curbon7 (talk) 22:35, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Amir!

[edit]

Hi Amir, It's been you editing my recent changes and stuff to articles to improve them and make them sound better so I'd just like to thank you for that. -Nolan Nolan MacLellan (talk) 21:50, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Nolan MacLellan: No worries! Please improve the article by adding more references. By a quick Google search I found reliable and solid sources such as Fox News and ect.AmirŞah 21:56, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@علی گیتور: There is a lack of WP:SIGCOV to demonstrate notability of the article and it causes the article to fails WP:NCORP. Before deleting the article an admin will check it out and if it meets Wikipedia's notability criteria, it will not be deleted. AmirŞah 08:30, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Mehmet-mk2: Hi, You can move the draft to article space but please note that it might be removed to draft, tagged as Speedy deletion or nominated for deletion. The best way is keep on improving the article and then resubmit it for reviewing. AmirŞah 10:52, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Did you check article before requesting for deleting???mmm Did you check references??? I am not sure if you check them.Mehmet-mk2 (talk) 11:25, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Death of Mahsa Amini on the front page news section

[edit]

Hello. Please consider casting your vote for or against the nomination of Death of Mahsa Amini to feature on the news section on the front page. You can find the nomination here Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates#Protests_in_Iran_against_Guidance_Patrol. --Ideophagous (talk) 19:40, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure!

[edit]

Dear @Liz:, this article Premjit Sen (Hanshi) was deleted multiple times and was created by another title. Please check out the Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Hanshi_Premjit_Sen. Regards. AmirŞah 13:40, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, AmirŞah,
I came to comment on your NAC closures but see that that ground is already covered (below) and I saw this message from you from last month. It's best to come to my talk page with questions as I don't see pings. As for this article, I untagged it because CSD G8 wasn't an appropriate criteria. That doesn't mean that the article shouldn't be deleted. Maybe CSD G4 would be more appropriate. Take care. Liz Read! Talk! 06:28, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non-admin closes

[edit]

Please stop closing deletion discussions as "Delete", like you did here for instance. It's disruptive and annoying; rather than helping the admins, it generates more work as we still need to independently check every 'delete' rationale and the history of the page but it adds an additional step we need to double-check. Wikipedia:Non-admin closure is an essay rather than formal policy, but is a fairly good summary of what's acceptable and unacceptable; except for the very specific circumstance of TfD discussions where orphaning is needed, "non admin close as delete" isn't appropriate. ‑ Iridescent 11:50, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well noted. I stopped closing deletion discussion as 'Delete'. AmirŞah 21:22, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you do close future deletion discussions, please do not close them hours early. Unless it is a Speedy Keep, discussions should last 7 days. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:34, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, well noted. AmirŞah 21:03, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yet after this message, you still did this early (and really WP:BADNAC) closure. Please stop, it is just creating more work for the admins. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 10:49, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there AmirŞah – would you please re-open Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pratik Gauri (2nd nomination) for an administrator to close? Several of the keep !voters (Antonyvlas, AndrewYuke, and Yandeńo) were blocked for sockpuppetry right after your closure, so their !votes should be discounted, which means that there's probably a consensus to delete. To revert the closure, just undo this edit—let me know if you need any help. Thanks! Extraordinary Writ (talk) 23:16, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the close already, no further action required. Please be more careful about those discussions you choose to close as a non-admin - even without the socking issues, I can't see how you got to a consensus to keep there. Girth Summit (blether) 07:46, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, AmirŞah, this is disappointing. I thought, while you were overly ambitious, that you were coming along as a very helpful editor. Consider taking a long break from Wikipedia and coming back in 6 months to your original account with a sincere unblock request. You can't continue as a sockpuppet, it's just a constant game of deception. Liz Read! Talk! 05:29, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have burned all my bridges behindes me.AmirŞah 13:45, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Liz. Yes, this is very disappointing, since we've all been deceived by AmirŞah here.
Also, if Girth Summit's theory [1] is correct, then there are also possibly UPE issues at play. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 06:44, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
