File copyright problem with File:TRZ Aerobridge.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:TRZ Aerobridge.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 21:07, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Tiruchirapalli Airport
[edit]Hi there, I appreciate your edits on Tiruchirapalli Airport article. But I would like to tell you that references should be added at the end of a sentence after the full stop. Please follow this when you make further edits. Thanks, Abhishek191288 (talk) 10:19, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- The section is a serious copy right violation. You cannot copy and paste sentences from sources to wikipedia. You are free to re-write the entire section (using your own sentences) but please do not re-instate what I have removed. If you do so, it will account to vandalism. Thanks, —Abhishek191288 (talk) 16:56, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
January 2011
[edit]Your addition to Tiruchirapalli Airport has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Abhishek191288 (talk) 17:07, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- Good! But when some text is removed because of some issues it has, please do not revert such edits and re-instate the text and then re-write it. It is better if you reframe the sentences and include them directly than doing the way you have done it now. Anyways, good job. —Abhishek191288 (talk) 17:17, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- The area mentioned is in proper style and so are the words new terminal building. Please do not change the same. Go thru this first. There is a manual of style you have to follow while making edits. Your addition of cost has no source. Please get a source and then add the same. —Abhishek191288 (talk) 17:46, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Tiruchirapalli Airport. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Abhishek191288 (talk) 16:19, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
This is another notice for you. Kindly provide an edit summary when you make edits to an article. I am not going to repeat this again and again. If you fail to do so again, I will have to report to the admins. It is for your own good that you provide an edit summary so that your edits are not mistaken to be unconstructive. Thanks, —Abhishek191288 (talk) 17:25, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
adding logos to List of educational institutions in Trichy
[edit]Please note that logos are usually only used under fair use, and thus should not be added anywhere but the article they describe. Specifically, one cannot add them to lists. --Muhandes (talk) 09:41, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Are you the sole owner of the Bharathidasan Institute of Management? If not, then you don't own this image and can't release it to the public. I ask that in the future you don't claim ownership for files you clearly do not own. I corrected the license to a fair use license. --Muhandes (talk) 09:45, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Will do in future. Thanks --Ami2003 (talk)

Tiruchirapalli Airport
[edit]"B" comes before "C" (Bangalore comes before Chennai; please learn your alphabet), we use brackets for dates, and the city is "Bangalore" not "Bengaluru" (which is the name of the airport). Thanks! Snoozlepet (talk) 06:45, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Tiruchirapalli Airport. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. — Abhishek Talk 01:12, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
September 2012
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tiruchirappalli Airport. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. What proof do you have that it's a media speculation? A reliable source is cited and on what basis are you challenging a source that is reliable and verifiable? If you do not stop reverting, I will report you to an admin — Abhishek Talk 07:04, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Trichy IT Park Layout.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Trichy IT Park Layout.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.trichyportal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22&start=160. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dianna (talk) 00:55, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Non-free rationale for File:IIM Trichy Logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:IIM Trichy Logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Bharathidasan-institute-of-management.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Bharathidasan-institute-of-management.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:34, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
