Thank you

Just to let you know, this organization is much larger than "Vision Forum" and it's article has more sources, so your "small outreach group" comment was a little inaccurate. Just letting you know, thanks. ;) --SuaveArt (talk) 04:34, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Alright, thanks for explaining. American Eagle (talk) 04:41, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
BTW, I added "allegedly" to the article, because you were actually right that it WAS worded as though their views about "demeaning women, sexism, etc" were a fact.--SuaveArt (talk) 04:42, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
I'll changed it around again. Adding "allegedly" doesn't changed the fact other groups haven't criticized them for it. I've left note on talk page and in edit summary. American Eagle (talk) 04:51, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Are you feeling any déjà vu?

Regarding HiLo, or is it just me? Seregain (talk) 16:04, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

If you mean a similar POV, then yes. If you mean SuaveReborn, who knows? The user is probably just anti-Focus on the Family and wants to discredit them (I expected this after the Super Bowl). American Eagle (talk) 18:34, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Wow, I just found out that Sauve is gone... Who am I going to try and practice WP:CIVIL with? Invmog (talk) 19:39, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Just be nice. You don't really have to practice being nice... ;) American Eagle (talk) 23:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Exactly what I meant. I don't think SA would be so bold. Seregain (talk) 17:50, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello! I was just browsing and came across this article, to which you are listed as a main editor. When was the last time it was assessed? I'm not terribly experienced with such things, but considering the coverage and references, I think it could probably be raised to at least C-class. Just a thought! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 14:42, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

After re-scanning the article and looking at Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Assessment#Quality scale, I would agree that the article should be upgraded to C-class (it nearly mirrors the example C-class article). I've now reaccessed it. I'm not extremely experienced at it either, so feel free to override my decision. Thanks for the heads-up! :) American Eagle (talk) 17:33, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
I think that's good! I didn't actually feel comfortable changing it myself since I'm not involved with any of those projects, but I definitely thought it was more than start! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 17:54, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Windows Rot, an article that you have edited, for deletion. I do not think that this article (now a redirect) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2010_February_25#Windows_Rot. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Meewam (talk) 22:02, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Adminship

Hello American Eagle.
You seem to be responsible and experienced user, so would you like me to nominate you for adminship? If you think your your ready, just let me know. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 23:29, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Might you be the same American Eagle as the one on simple Wikipedia? @The High Fin Sperm Whale - if he is, he used to be a Simple Wiki admin :). Airplaneman 00:22, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
I am indeed that user, Airplaneman. I was also an admin and beaurucrat on the Simple English Wikiquote (which is now closed). To Fin Whale, I'll have to think about it. I know I'm ready, have policy experience and would do fine here as well, but the only thing that troubles me is activity. I've been semi-active for a while, so I can see people not supporting solely based on that. I'll try to increase my activity, ask for a second opinion, and get back to you. Thanks for the offer. :) American Eagle (talk) 03:29, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi American Eagle - I just wanted to drop you a note that I changed the speedy tag on Sleive gullion to a redirect to Slieve Gullion as a possible spelling mistake. --Kateshortforbob talk 10:48, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Can you help me edit this page: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_theatrical_film_production_companies to follow the same format as the distributors page, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_Theatrical_Film_Companies? Your mistakes

Hey what about that signature debate we had with Xeno that one time, about using subpage templates as signatures rather than abiding by the rules of sig length. That was a big debate and it probably was the highlight of my first year on Wikipedia.--Ezekiel 7:19 †Go Canucks! (sign) 16:53, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Oh, I remember that. I don't remember it being very embarrassing to me personally, so I don't think I'll add it. Note: that page doesn't have all the mess-ups I've done; just the worst ones. ;) American Eagle (talk) 19:14, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

SuaveArt IP blocked 1 week

I saw on my watchlist that our little friend was back...since I used to clerk SPI, I asked for someone to look at it ASAP. If he comes back in a week on the same or very similar IP, you can ask the blocking admin Shirik to extend the length. If he pops up again later or on another IP, you can make another case, though next time file it under SuaveArt so we can keep the reports together. Cheers, Auntie E. (talk) 01:29, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Courageous

Okay I read what you posted and I won't revert it myself. I think policy requires a deletion review before the article can be re-created, but if it's notable now, then it should meet those requirements without problem. If I were you, I would just file one at Wikipedia:Deletion Review and have this formally resolved. Thanks.--ParisianBlade (talk) 04:26, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:11, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Alright, thank you very much! I will not abuse the tools given to me. American Eagle (talk) 18:20, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

The article Clash Entertainment has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

notability not established

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Griseum (talk) 13:20, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Cars 2 vs. Courageous

It's odd that the page for Cars 2 has not been deleted since April 2008 even though it has not begun primary production yet. Courageous was set to start primary production mere weeks after the page was created, yet it ended up being deleted anyway. 71.49.81.124 (talk) 02:49, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

The article Dave Christiano has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable. No significant coverage of the subject found nor any reviews of his work in reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
