Evil evil boy
so yeah.. my opera decided to update itself while writing this so i cant be bothered to write this out nicely.
from us census data we can see that 25.8% of the population of georgia is in the age range 5-22
9,544,750 x 0.258 = 2,462,546
thats near enough 2.5 million as makes no difference —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.144.247.131 (talk • contribs) 2008-02-28T16:57:44

The Name Udo. Hello, Udo Proksch if a convicted murderer had died in custody. To remove my request, Udo Proksch from this list.--62.47.220.81 (talk) 10:56, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I blocked what is presumably another IP of yours (62.47.215.184) for 24 hours for continuing to change the page Udo. Udo Proksch was clearly a businessman, the fact that he died in custody is irrelevant and won't help people find information about him. Please don't use this IP address to edit that page, or there's a possibility it will be blocked as well. Cheers —αlεx•mullεr 11:04, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

re Read the definition of vandalism. I was adding a preface to the paragraph that followed which was in no way accurate or encyclopedic. It was simply a derogatory and immature opinion of the writer and this is exactly what I said.
the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Even harmful edits that are not explicitly made in bad faith are not considered vandalism. For example, adding a personal opinion to an article once is not vandalism — it's just not helpful, and should be removed or restated. Not all vandalism is obvious, nor are all massive or controversial changes vandalism. Careful attention needs to be given to whether changes made are beneficial, detrimental but well intended, or outright vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Informatron (talk • contribs) 22:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Articles for Deletion by 59.167.45.168
Howdy! Just saw your message on 59.167.45.168's talk page about the AfD thingys he/she has put on a number of websites. Sorry this is brief, I'm just about to head out for work - he/she seems to have focused on a large number of The Bill characters pages, for example Liz Rawton, Debbie McAllister etc - I have just quickly added a link to the bio page on Liz Rawton's page (www.thebillbios.co.uk)... Anything you can do at all/advise? Cheers! BNC85 (talk) 18:57, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, this is a very interesting case - there's nothing to stop him adding the PROD tags, he's perfectly allowed to. And you should only really remove them if they can fulfil the reason for PROD'ing, which I'm not sure they do at the moment... you can either remove the PROD tags from the articles and face the possibility of challenging them at AFD, or tidy up the articles and then remove the tags, or just leave them for deletion. None of the situations are fantastic, unfortunately —αlεx•mullεr 23:20, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry i am not well Wiki schooled yet but will get there. I was unable to post to your talk becuase you had me blocked. I should have used a different approach other than deleting the article. Live and learn. About OJ Simpson, he killed people, the party targeted in the article was one of dozens in an office for insider trading. Because his name is unique he will pay a hire price than all others convicted as there names fade into cyberspace. We know who the posts are coming from and it is clearly an antogonist wanting to keep this old conviction in the news. Thanks for your patience with this. Cdcflies (talk) 21:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- No need to apologise at all - I'm sorry for blocking you, and as you seem to understand what you did, it should never happen again. Fair enough about the article, but I've got absolutely no idea who's editing it... some advice for you (if you want to agree with the content of the article more) is to read through Wikipedia's key policies (WP:N, WP:V, WP:NOR, WP:BLP). If you find anything on Wikipedia that blatantly disagrees with any of those policies, it can be removed, no questions asked. And every administrator and experienced editor on the site will support you in those decisions, provided they're correct. Hope this helps, somewhat —αlεx•mullεr 15:31, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism on my userpage
Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my usertalk page. This user is continually tring to vandalise my page. am thinking of putting semi page protection on it so only experienced users can edit. Are you an admin? if you are can you do that for me? Chris19910 (talk) 18:54, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- You're very welcome for the revert – I presume you're talking about Chuuplo? I actually just blocked him for 24 hours for continuing to recreate the same page over and over (and actually, 24 hours was on the light side, considering what he could have got). Semi-protection won't do much against him though – it only works on accounts that are younger than 4 days, and he's been around since December. If it happens again (from him or anyone else) let me know here and we'll see what we can do. Hope this helps —αlεx•mullεr 18:59, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Tim Buckley revert
Thanks for the revert, i'm doing up stuff on the article and I think it's god damn awful in the first place without the vandalism! And if possible: not sure if you know much about the subject but could you check what i've written on Lorca (album) for style? I'm comfortable with chucking in facts n dates and the sort but very wary of NPOV writing. Any other input on my ideas for Tim Buckley things would be appreciated cos i think i'm working alone in a black hole there. Thanks Sillyfolkboy (talk) 19:26, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've got no idea about the content at all, but can happily comment on the article. It seems fine as far as NPOV goes – those quotations need citations though or they "may be removed at any time" (WP:QUOTE). I won't remove them just yet as I haven't had time to do a proper search for the source, but if you know it please include it. —αlεx•mullεr 12:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

- Yeah, I'm a complete noob... it's actually been a year, that's all. Hardly that much experience. I'm afraid when I reverted your edit before I was using a piece of anti-vandal software called huggle which helps go through large amounts of edits really quickly. I'm really sorry that I have no idea about biology, and with your addition looking like vandalism I decided to revert it. Apologies if this was the wrong decision —Alex.Muller 01:26, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
- why can't they invent some anti-valid bot that automatically transfers possibly useful things to the talk page? Maybe you should not use the bot if it makes mistakes. and if your bot is going to revert stuff, then your little note on the user talk page should say that a bot reverted it and not you. Are you willing to make these changes or is there somewhere where I can make comments / feedback on your administrator status?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.151.254.51 (talk) 01:34, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

The problem is that there are so many recent changes to go through to search for vandalism, and I made the wrong decision there, apparently (still taking your word for it, because I don't know biology). You can make comments on my administrator status anywhere all you want, but that won't do any good. George DiCaprio revert
Hi Alex,
I converted the word "comics" to "comix" in the George DiCaprio page because that is the spelling that distinguishes the type of comics that DiCaprio created - underground comix.
It has been spelled that way since the 1960's when these comix were created to show that they were different from the "mainstream" comics because of their content which included graphic depictions of sex and violence.
George DiCaprio was friendly with some of the main creators of underground comix such as Robert Williams, Robert Crumb and art spiegelman (sic).
I think it is a significant change and I would like to change it back that way in the article.
Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.250.216.114 (talk) 03:26, 30 April 2008
- Hey, I notice this edit is from the 14th February – at the time I didn't realise that the link pointed to the same article, but if you want to point it to Underground comix that's fine. Also, if you leave an edit summary in future it will generally prevent people from reverting your changes when they think they're questionable. Cheers, hope this helps —Alex.Muller 07:22, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

El Farmero (you deleted my 'Kory Bennett' article)
Yeah hi thanks for deleting that I blanked it for a reason...
Kory Bennett is not a very famous man. He's a proffessor. And he does not have any citeable sources. He's just an ordinary person. However, he has a lot of influences on a lot of peoples lives and all of his fellow scholars and students here respect him greatly. So no. He's not a celebrity. He's just a man who helps a lot of people here at the academy achive theor scientific goals. Now you might be thinking, "Make him a myspace and get out of Wikipedia's face" but, no. He's someone who, although not famous, deserves an encyclopedic entry. And wikipedia is the only place that can be accomplished. The freedom of a wiki is so...powerful and has such freedoms that it is the only place where this can be accomplished. So I'm asking you to reconsider. To bend your criteria for 1 page. We all know this guy deserves it.
-El Farmero —Preceding unsigned comment added by El Farmero (talk • contribs) 22:29, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- We can't bend the rules, unfortunately – because there are a couple of people I'd love to write entries for, but they just don't deserve it at the moment. There are a couple of choices: spend some time putting together an article, find sources, and really work on it so it fulfils the notability criteria... or, have a look at Biographicon (ref). Definitely give the latter a go, if only to start an article. And please send me a link to there if you do, I've never looked for one before. Hope this helps —Alex.Muller 22:50, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Okay ummm..he wrote an anthropology thesis for the University of South Florida which is on their website....does that count? For anything? —Preceding unsigned comment added by El Farmero (talk • contribs) 15:27, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Give it a go - there's a page at User:El Farmero/Kory Bennett which nobody will delete unless you replace it with "{{db-user}}". Fill in the blanks and I'll try and have a look or grab some references sometime in the next few days (when I have time). Hope this helps —Alex.Muller 16:13, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Consideration for Boilerplate Deletion
Dear Muller:
We want to bring to you attention the fact that FisherQueen has remove articles defaming “Ron Bongo” and “Ronald Bongo.” Please see:
http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:JRS-SEC
And it does appear that this admin has stopped the perpetrator:
wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:JRS-SEC, that is the contributor who calls himself JRS-SEC
We are also requesting that you take down http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/US_SEC_Boiler_Room_Prosecutions. In this case the users are http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Chopped_Lamb or/and http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Smarkflea but we believe its the same person as JRS-SEC under different sign-ins.
While the facts in this article are from the SEC proceedings, the context is totally false and misleading. The term “boiler room” has been used to denote shady securities operators for more than fifty years. In that time there have been thousands of arrests and prosecutions but your article makes it seem like the Mr. Bongo is a “mastermind” and a notable historical figure in the world of boiler room prosecutions. Wasn’t Mr. Bongo’s employer more of a mastermind? Weren’t the thousand other boiler room operators who have also ever been prosecuted?
This article was clearly not written to enlighten the public on the state of boiler room prosecutions. It was created wholly and totally to defame Mr. Ron Bongo.
Here is the true story. When Ron Bongo was a young man who got a job at a brokerage firm that was censured by the SEC. Mr. Bongo along with the principals and other salespeople at the firm were convicted of securities fraud and punished. Mr. Bongo paid his debt to society and went on to another field where he has made a success for himself.
But because he has an unusual name, the notice of his conviction remained to ruin his reputation. Many others were mentioned in the very same SEC document (14 names in all) but because their names were more common, their reputation was not affected because the notice in the back page of Google. Mr Bongo hired us to push down the SEC notice.
For some reason, our helping Mr. Bongo so incensed his attacker that he has worked consistently in Wikipedia and elseswhere (he added Mr. Bongos conviction to various social networking sites.) He has even gone so far as to create an article on "Boiler Room Prosecutions" just so he can "star" Mr. Bongo as a ringleader.
This kind of slander does not belong in Wikipedia which is supposed to be an objective encyclopedia. Mr. Bongo was an employee, a salesman who made a mistake. He was not a ringleader and does not deserve to be the focus of an article on "boiler room prosecutions" -- there have been thousands of such prosecutions not mentioned by the attacker in this article. Do you think Mr. Bongo should be singled out and made to pay for the rest of his life just because his attacker thinks he should?
Please do the right thing and remove all references to Ron Bongo or Ronald Bongo including the false linkage to Ron Bongo as kingpin of boiler room prosecutions.
I’m sure you will agree that Wikipedia should not be misused in a way that serves no public benefit and causes personal harm and pain to an individual who paid fully for his crime a decade ago.
If you cannot remove the boiler room article directly, please tell us how we might proceed to use the Wikipedia Articles for Deletion process.
Thank you for you assistance in this matter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.153.87.249 (talk) 21:14, 5 May 2008 (UTC) 205.153.87.249 Jordan G (talk) 21:21, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

If that's fine with you, post back here to confirm. I'll then give you a link where you must leave your rationale for deleting the article. Other members of the community will then also give their opinion and the outcome will be decided in about five days time. Let me know how you feel about this —Alex.Muller 21:33, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Alex,
I have just posted the first paragraph of an article for which I need more time to prepare.
I would like to know if and how I could save the article and work on it before having it published.
If I can't do that, just let me know if the only way is to prepare it outside wikipedia and then input all at once.
Thank you

- Apparently these are all socks of User:Random-5000 who's been active the past few days hitting the same pages, especially User:Gwernol and User talk:Gwernol with his stock phrases like 'ghosts eat toast', 'shitter', and others. He makes no effort to hide himself, I guess. Admin User:Oxymoron83 stopped him with a range block a while ago and maybe that has to be considered. Okay, let me lay it on you straight. I created an article that was supposed to be a redirect to Banjo-Kazooie 3. I messed up and now it is up for speedy deletion. I, anfish, the author of this extremely short article wants it to be deleted. In fact I will speedy delete it right now--Anfish (talk) 11:35, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- That's OK, I deleted it for you as a CSD G7, which means the page only had one author who has requested the deletion. Hope this helps —Alex.Muller 12:01, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

IFlewATA.com Deleted
My article, IFlewATA.com has been deleted, and I either would like a copy of it, or I would like to have enough time to change it so that it meets Wikipedia's guidleines. I wasn't trying to advertise IFLewATA.com, but I guess I did glorify it a little bit. Please undo the deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by IFlewATA (talk • contribs) 03:41, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Rfb participation thanks
Hello, Alex.
I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no consensus to promote. Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your support. -- Avi (talk) 17:16, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
WBOSITG's RfA
Hello Alex. I picked you out at random because I needed the help of an Admin. I created a page for Solar 1. I am having trouble adding images and external links to the page. If you want to know more about the subject, the website is www.solar1.org. It is a facility that houses a non-profit group, Solar One. I created a page for the facility because it is New York City's only self-sustaining (from an energy perspective) solar facility. It is also home to many interesting programs, and is a prototype for a larger building that will be built in the near future. It also sits adjacent to a park which is managed for the city by Solar One and is unique in its own right for several reasons. I would appreciate a few tips on how to make the page more informative and useful. Thank You. -eper1709 Email address removed —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eper1709 (talk • contribs) 15:39, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Many thanks for your participation in my recent request for adminship. I am impressed by the amount of thought that goes into people's contribution to the RfA process, and humbled that so many have chosen to trust me with this new responsibility. I step into this new role cautiously, but will do my very best to live up to your kind words and expectations, and to further the project of the encyclopedia. Doctor Who - original research
Alex - that whole section is original research - wikipedia doesn't care that it might be true, only that it can sources to reliable 3rd party sources - there is not a single source in the section. So please don't template people you don't agree with. You might disagree about the removal but it doesn't make my action any less good faith in nature. The template you used doesn't even make any sense in the context of the situation because I DID include a "helpful edit summary" - please think more carefully about how you communicate with your fellow editors in future. --87.112.82.25 (talk) 11:32, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
oh and looking at it, you did six edits in the space of two minutes, there is absolutely no chance that you actually considered my edit before reverting and templating me. I suggest you slow down and consider your actions more carefully. --87.112.82.25 (talk) 11:35, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I was using an automated anti-vandalism tool which automatically presents edits depending on how likely they are to be vandalism. There's a couple of issues here:
- You're an IP address, meaning that (strictly speaking in terms of statistics) your edits are more likely to be vandalism. Perhaps consider registering an account.
- You removed incredibly large chunks of text from the article, a "technique" typically used by vandals. Consider making smaller edits at a time.
- The reason you did specify was inside /* */, meaning that it was only an automatic edit summary, and was counted by the tool as not having one. Make sure the edit summary is explicit in future.
- All the best, Alex Muller 12:35, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks

Odd computer error
As I was in the process of blocking an anonymous vandal whom you'd previously blocked, a computer glitch caused me to block you instead of the anon. I immediately corrected it and noted that the block had simply been a computer error. I probably should have written a more elaborate explanation, but I was so startled by the event and distressed that I wanted to get you unblocked that instant. You might not have discovered this any time soon, potentially never, but nonetheless I felt obligated to explain it and apologize profusely right away. Doczilla STOMP! 10:51, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ha, that's quite alright Doczilla... rumour has it that admins are only human after all, and we make mistakes just like everyone else (though I can't believe that myself for one second). user nouse4aname
i reported htis to another admind but thye havnet replyaed yet.... the user nouse4aname has undo my edit 4 times with the last 24 hours so to aviod an edit war and to aviod violating the 3rr rule, i stopped editing the page, however i put the edit war warning on his page and told him since he undo my eidts 4 times he violated the rule, he then removed it from the page to make himself look like he has a better history so i added it back just now and that is where we are. he has a nack for customizzing the pages to his likeing, he will follow one rule thne dis obey another if he doesnt like it, he has been nothing but an annoniance since he started edited the used page, since he violred the 3rr rule and removed the warning i think u shud give him a band to teach him a lesson., i just checked and he removed the warning again so i will re add it again, the page he violted the 3rr on was shallow believer, he keeps removing the warning label from his page to make himself look good and he wont stop....he also stalks me on here and went to the other admins talk page to stand up for himself b4 the admin replyed to him so that shows he is just following every edit i make. here is his talk page http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Nouse4aname#used USEDfan (talk) 20:49, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- There's too much going on here for me to jump in the middle of, especially that another article is involved. If you feel that Nouse4aname has violated the 3 revert rule, create a new report at WP:3RRN with evidence presented very clearly and an administrator will deal with it in good time. - But I want to discuss the issues and reach a concensous, how am I meant to do this if I am not allowed near the article? And I do not wish to edit war again, not even in two days. I only did it because I felt I had to, I would rather we discuss things, listen to and address all points and issues raised in our reasons, and then agree on a concensous. Please tell me how this is vandalism. I removed the tag because it seemed absurd. I'm an Editorofthewiki[citation needed] 11:04, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- I honestly wasn't looking at whether it was vandalism or not, that's why I didn't delete it straight off. Found poetry
Hey. I noticed you reverted some vandalism a while ago on found poetry. First of all, thanks! Second of all, can you add to your watchlist? It seems to go through bouts of vandalism sometimes, like all articles, I suppose, but this one seems to be a bit abadoned. The more people watch it, the better. --Justpassin (talk) 01:19, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sure thing, just make sure that the version you're editing to is the correct one - that way, I have somewhere to start. I reckon I'm on here far too much, so any obvious vandalism should be gone pretty quickly. Cheers, Alex Muller 07:31, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Cooper Huckabee
Hello, Alex.muller ...
When you contest a PROD, as you did with Cooper Huckabee (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), please remember to add an {{Oldprodfull}} tag to the Discussion page so that others will know that it cannot be PRODed a second time.
Happy Editing! — 151.200.237.53 (talk · contribs) 11:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder - though I would note that WP:PROD does say "Consider adding", so I don't reckon it's strictly necessary. In any case, cheers for letting me know. Alex Muller 12:06, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- "Courtesy" is always optional, and it's a relatively new template, so most editors aren't even aware of it yet … for me, it's an administrative issue (as in CYA), but, as the template's author, I'm kinda biased … I often troll Category:Proposed deletion-endorsed and add it to articles that I find listed there, and I always add it to PRODs that I second (being a deletionist, I don't contest them very often. :-) —151.200.237.53 (talk) 16:18, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi --I was directed to you as a possibility of restoring an article that was taken down. The people who created the article had permission to use the material found on my website for the show I created a few years back, and I emailed wikipedia to ensure that the permission was granted and was not a copyright infringement. Any chance the article can be restored the way it was before it was deleted? Thanks for your help Jjbalcou (talk) 04:24, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sure — but what you have to do, according to this page is put a note at the bottom of that page saying that the text on that page is "licensed under the GFDL". I presume the page is [5]. You'll then be able to copy and paste the content right in after clicking on the Untitled the musical link. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 07:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

- Whoops, sorry - I wasn't clear. You have to put a notice on the external website that you want to copy the text from - so this page needs a notice on the bottom of it. Hope that's clearer, Alex Muller 08:08, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

- I've put a copy of the article at User:Driptaroy/Puur Design Studio for you - this should stop it from getting deleted while you work on it. I believe it was deleted because all those links make it seem like the article was advertising, when perhaps it wasn't. Feel free to edit the page where it is and then we can move it out to its original location when it becomes ready. Basically, you need to show that the studio is notable by our policy. Let me know if you need any specific help though, and I'll have a quick look at it for you now. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 21:07, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Don't ignore me
Reply to Alex
Yes but so did they Alex. Uther completely disregarded what I had said and inserted the hatnotes because he knows they help his cause. I provided my hatnotes in the history and then undid my revisions and stated once a concensous was reached we could add the appropriate hatnotes according to the concensous redirect decided. They tagteamed ownership and together broke the 3RR so why did they not get punished?! I have explained what has happened in my unblock request for you to understand and if you take the time to read you will be able to see this yourself. The strawpoll stuffed everything up just as I knew it would by reading that guideline. Please reply to me and if you cannot then I will have to use the unblock request. Cazique (talk) 16:02, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Another reply to Alex
Well firstly it would be nice if you actually reply to me instead of ignoring me! Just because I point out hard points for people to refute they always ignore me! I hate this with wikipedia and I have now seen this as a recurring pattern among editors and admins. As soon as I say something which is right with editors and admins knowing this, instead of replying to me in reference to the point I make, they simply ignore me or sidetrack with something else! I shouldn't have to wait because I knew this would happen and it shouldn't have happened to begin with. I left a comment on WP:ANI stating that I knew once I made that 4th reversion I would have Uther going to the 3RR board and reporting me so he could act his revenge on me. But this is not fair, together him and Rlendog took ownership over the article and helped each other out by not breaking the 3RR gaming the system. How about I do that next time? Huh! How about I get one of my friends to help me game the system and get Uther blocked like he has done with me! This is BS. I come here to help and get treated like a piece of crap. Cazique (talk) 14:01, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- This is about 3RR blocks, so let's just go for that. If you think Uther is in the habit of breaking 3RR - reverting a page more than 3 times in 24 hours - please would you provide a report to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR the next time it happens? I'm not going to get any more involved in this issue that the two of you seem to have. I mean really, is it worth losing your privilege to edit Wikipedia over the name of one redirect of one mammal? Alex Muller 06:53, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well done you held true to what I said. Looks like I should game the system too and get Uther blocked for 3RR just as he did. Looks to be the only way things can be fair seeing how no admins give a stuff about this. Cazique (talk) 14:34, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Help me restore a deleted page?
Hello, recently I made a page, Matt Lesser, based on a candidate for Representative and it was tagged for speedy deletion. So i inserted the hang on script and improved the article on the same day it was tagged only to awake to find the page completely deleted by a different user. The page no longer met the specifications of speedy deletion and the hangon script was completely ignored apparently. Nonetheless, I am just here to ask for a copy of the Matt Lesser page. Thanks for your time and effort. Willorbill1 (talk) 19:28, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sure - I put a copy at User:Willorbill1/Matt Lesser for you to play with - feel free to let me know if you need help with either working on the article or moving it back into mainspace when you feel it's ready. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 20:49, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, I dont think you know how much stress was just taken off my shoulders because of you. As i said i dont think this new version that i would like to post (the one that you just restored for me -- again thank you) is against the notability for biography criteria, but I would really appreciate if you could give it a look over and point out the specifics that are in violation. I'm not sure if this is asking for too much, but this is my first contribution besides an edit, and its been a bit overwhelming. Willorbill1 (talk) 04:03, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- The notability criteria for politicians are located here. Basically, I'm neither that much of a good article writer nor do I have any solid idea about American politics, but I've given your copy of the article a bit of a going over this morning. I'll get in touch with the administrator who first deleted it and see what they think. For the time being, if you think the article can be improved - go for it! I'd definitely encourage you to add stuff that's referenced by reliable sources. Alex Muller 09:35, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- You should probably note that I've posted at deletion review to see what other editors think of the article now. Cheers, Alex Muller 16:27, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot man. Even if this never does make it back to the mainspace, your help was very appreciated. Willorbill1 (talk) 16:58, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem at all - we'll see what happens with that over the next five days, it might be good news yet. And always feel free to let me know if you have any problems or issues here at all. Have a good week, Alex Muller 17:08, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- It's looking pretty good now (if i do say so myself and much to your work) so im wondering if it is time to moove it back. Then again looking at the deletion review that doesnt look like a good idea for some reason. maybe im not grasping this notability thing... Oh Yeah and thanks for fending off that Ravichandar guy for me. For some reason hes been after from Day 1 and is giving me crap for the userspace and for using a campaign picture that is in the public domain. anyways... wheather you say yea or nay to the mainspace post, thanks alot and cheers! Willorbill1 (talk) 23:08, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Firstly, we need good faith contributors like you here - so please do stick around, even if there are people who make you feel unwelcome at times. As for moving the article back, let's see what happens in the next week or so, there should be a nice discussion about it. As far as notability goes: the criteria for politicians I linked to above, but those definitely aren't set in stone. The article has a lot of links to 3rd party commentary/articles/news on him, so I reckon it could stand on its own at the moment. WP:N is long and boring, but worth a read ;) Alex Muller 08:46, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
RE: your helping me on my talk page
Um, I'm confused. Do I put my name instead of UBX, or have my name before UBX, or what? Green1Blue2 (talk) 08:21, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, just UBX is fine - then use the curly brackets to add the contents of the page you create onto any other page. Have a read through User:UBX and WP:USERBOX for more info. Alex Muller 08:25, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

London photos
I saw your offer on the London Wikiproject talk page, so I have a task for you. Your destination is 28 Belgrave Square, which the Embassy of Serbia awaits you. I just need a photo of the embassy to replace this image that has a very dubious license. Nothing too fancy, just a shot of the embassy (and flag if possible). Thanks. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 03:35, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Fantastic, that's all of 20 minutes from where I live - I'll let you know, but expect something on Commons by the weekend. Do say if there's anything more you think of :) Alex Muller 08:38, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Take your time. The only thing I can think of is maybe the Japanese Embassy in London. I think if there are many photos I will ask you of, it will be of embassies. Thanks. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 08:14, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- My lunch plans just got cancelled, so I figure I might head out now... mentioned it to a friend, and we're wondering what the chance of me getting stopped and searched (or arrested) is - ha, if I'm not editing before this weekend... Alex Muller 11:41, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Please do not delete my page
Although the page "Steve Jared" is a bit ridiculus, but It is a bit of an inside joke. I see no reason why to delete it, as no person whould accidentaly look up something so specific. I whould like to re-write it, but if it in danger of being deleted again, then I will not bother. Please send me back to see if you have accepted to let my write it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keegan turner-wood (talk • contribs) 16:46, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid we have certain notability criteria that pages must obey. I probably wouldn't delete your page again (but only because I wouldn't get there in time). It would most definitely be noticed and deleted by an administrator fairly quickly if it's rewritten the same as it was before. Apologies, Alex Muller 19:10, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

copy of an article deleted for WESTENDWATCH
Hello, my username is WESTENDWATCH, and I created an article about the company I work for: West End Watch & Co. But because my username was linked to the name of my company, wiki put me on speed deletion for my article and I was asked to change my username because I didn't know the policy about that.
Anyway, now I'm waiting for the approbation of my new username and I woudl like to know if it's possible to get a copy of the article I made because I worked on it for few hours and I would like to keep a copy and I receive a note from Mannafredo telling me that I could contact you or any other admin.
So could you send me a copy of my article about West end watch & Co on my email address : watch-leytronbluewin.ch ? Thanks in advance, waiting for some news from you soon !

I'm trying to layout a case for this podcast's notability in the discussion section. Is there another place to collate that information? I don't want to recreate all that work and have you delete it a second time. Mindme (talk) 13:04, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sure - I put a copy of the article as it was before it was deleted at User:Mindme/Dogma Free America. You can scrap that and start afresh on that page if you want, or build from it. Let me know if you have any more questions. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 13:32, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Actually it was the discussion page. I'm trying to lay out a case for the notability of the podcast. I've been trying to follow the steps listed on the article "lock" notice without much success. The discussion page where I laid out my case was deleted and then my request for page removal protection was
- What I'd encourage you to do is create a copy of the article at the page I linked above. Once you've got an article that's decent enough (meets the criteria of WP:WEB) we can then go to deletion review and convince them to allow you to recreate the article. How does that sound? Alex Muller 20:36, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- I posted at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 June 26 because this needs more people to judge. Feel free to head there with your opinion that it should be restored, but be sure to know the relevant policies (WP:WEB and WP:N are fairly big). Also, the article would be improved if you added links to reliable news stories or articles about it, if any exist. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 13:02, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- The vast majority of podcasts, even those that appear on wiki, don't get much press attention. For example skeptoid if you search google news has zero main stream media mentions. How did skeptoid pass notability? I feel Wiki is a bit behind the 8 ball if it waits for traditional media to finally recognize what is clearly notable (the large number of notable guests who agree to be on the show), popular (top ten in its category, more reviews that main stream podcasts), and has thousand of online reference. Mindme (talk) 13:09, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
(←) You make an interesting point - and the real way to address this is to try and change the notability criteria - you will, unfortunately, encounter loads of people here who oppose any change just because "it's a change". And that, I really hate... perhaps the Skeptoid article shouldn't be there, but I'm not one to go out of my way to get it removed. In my opinion, that's an example of a time when ignoring the policy/rules/guideline gives a better visitor, user or reader experience. If you can, link to anything that discussing Dogma Free America - as long as they comply with WP:EL, of course (which basically means the links aren't obvious advertising or completely unrelated. Hope this clears it up somewhat, Alex Muller 13:21, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the effort. In the words of Babylon 5, it's "the podcast's" last best hope. Geez, I'm not even this podcast's #1 fan. I just see a problem with consistency in the podcast sphere and a real hole in the web notability criteria. Lots of history might be lost about podcasts if we wait until dead tree media suddenly becomes aware of podcasts that are clearly notable in their realm. I did as well comment on the group that looking to get notability criteria in place for podcasts but that movement seems dead. Mindme (talk) 13:52, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- As somebody posted on the deletion review, try and get notability guidelines established at WT:WEB - this would be far more useful than anything else. Cheers (and good luck), Alex Muller 15:05, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Puur logo, need some help
Hey Alex,
Thanks again for keepin Puur Design Studio. I will be adding more information on it. I will be done after adding history atleast for now. I only have one question left. How do i add a logo of the company. And after I am done, will the Dripta Roy user name next to the Puur Design Studio be deleted.
Thanks

Transnistria border customs issue
Please don't move the talk pages, cause they are linked with the articles. It is not correct to move only the talk page of the article, you should rename the article, and renaming a article should move also the talk page. --serhio talk 18:25, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Not atuhorized to upload logo
Hi alex,
I tried to upload the logo for Puur design studio but it says that I am not authorized to do so. Can you help cause after the logo is uploaded the article is done for now and it can be moved to just wikepedia instead of user: attached to it.
Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Driptaroy (talk • contribs) 19:43, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- To be able to upload files, you need to have an account that's four days old and has made at least 10 edits to articles. In any case, whether it has a logo or not won't decide whether the article is allowed to be moved back (without the User:). Would you like me to start a deletion review to see what people think of moving the article back? Alex Muller 19:53, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

hi Alex.Muller, i was just dropping by to ask you a question about the deleted article Sweat It Out. I'm not here to dog you on the deletion, but I was wondering if you could point me to the discussion page where it was decided - I don't know how to find those.
Thanks for any assistance. -Violask81976 00:46, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sure — this one had no discussion, it was a proposed deletion which means that somebody proposed the deletion (in this case, Mikeblas (talk · contribs)) and nobody questioned it for five days, so the article was deleted. A lack of reliable sources is probably what did it. If you want a copy of the article for you to work on so that it can be recreated, just let me know. Alex Muller 08:25, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Chalveon and Barstable School Sites
Sorry to contact you here, I am totally new to using Wikipedia, the reason I requested the Chalvedon article be delete was due to its history pages.
I represent both Chalvedon and Barstable schools and would like to "lock down" their pages (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Chalvedon_School & http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Barstable_School) and delete their history edited pages as they contain false and offensive material in them. I am unsure if locking a topic from being edited further is even an option on Wikipedia..?
Obviously pupils seem to have great pleasure in defacing the image of the schools on such a popular public website.
Any advice or information would be appreciated please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AndyBaines (talk • contribs) 10:38, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Today's conversation, just for my reference Alex Muller 14:32, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure there'd be no objection to semi-protecting this for an extended period (six to twelve months) - such protections are routine via OTRS per request of schools, where vandalistic additions by IP's have to be deleted from the history. There's a fair number in my log; it's a situation where a dash of IAR is handy. Daniel (talk) 16:31, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- If you think it'd help, feel free to go for a prolonged protection and I'll endorse - for what it's worth, some of the (now deleted) history isn't too nice... Alex Muller 16:37, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Make sure you provide a clear reason for your change in the edit summary if it's at all difficult to spot or could be controversial. The AI Wikipedia page again
Here is copy of a post from me on Delldot's talk page. He has not answered. I hope you can re-publish the AI-Wikipedia page again. It is deleted for totally wrong reasons.
To Delldot et.al. The www.anarchy.no is the most scientific and reliable anarchist website on Internet. Thus when you say "Again, I don't consider anarchy.no to be a reliable source" I cannot agree with you. You have to explain why you distrust www.anarchy.no. What facts do you have that prove this point of view? The so called "anorg-warning" made by the marxists Jamal Hannah and Peter Bach? This is almost entirely false. We have rejected and turned this down about 100% at http://www.anarchy.no/anorgwarning.html . Try to be more matter of fact. Now please explain to me why you distrust www.anarchy.no. with sound, scientific, matter of fact arguments.
I don't know what the AfD is, but the AI-page is finished from Fagerhus and me, and we are interested in going all the way on Wikipedia, before we try to post it on another site. So try to undelete it and we will see what happens. Ask the relevant persons to undelete it.
What is the GFDL? As far as I know Fagerhus and I have the copyright to the page, we made it. Thanks for all the help, that will be credited, but we are the authors. The helpers on Wikipedia have also contributed with a small bit of input to new updates of the www.anarchy.no. That is fine. Our AI-Wikiedia page is the truth about the AI. If Wikipedia is not interested in the truth, we certainly will find others that are. By the way, consensus means a page should be deleted only if all agree. If a few can decide deletion, it is minority dictatorship. (Anna Quist (talk) 13:10, 24 July 2008 (UTC))
- This is being discussed on Delldot's talk page, so I don't think it's right for me to jump in here. A couple of thoughts - this was deleted by AfD, which aims to get a community view by using a representative sample of Wikipedians. Obviously not all of the 6 million people registered here can agree to delete a page... and for what consensus on Wikipedia means, see WP:CONSENSUS. Then, the GFDL: all your contributions to Wikipedia are licensed under the GFDL. Have a read through WP:C. Cheers, Alex Muller 13:26, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Academic and peer-reviewed publications are highly valued and usually the most reliable sources in areas where they are available, such as history, medicine and science, although some material may be outdated by more recent research, or controversial in the sense that there are alternative theories. 2. Material from reliable non-academic sources may also be used in these areas, particularly if they are respected mainstream publications." Ad 1. International Journal of Anarchism is the only scientific, academic and peer-reviewed anarchist journal in the world. Thus stuff from the IJA is meeting this criterion and standard fully. The IJA-stuff is not questioned by any other reliable academic journal, it is not controversial and not outdated. In fact several academic/university websites link up IJA, together with all the other main academic/scientific economic journals. Thus the criterion for independent third party sources is fulfilled. The following universities/academic pages list IJA: US Oswego State University of New York's List of Economic Journals on the Web International Journal of Anarchism ... http://www.oswego.edu/~economic/journals.htm CPA DIRECTORY INDEX LawResearch ... International Journal of Anarchism · International Journal of the Economics of Business · International Journal of Flexible Manufacturing Systems ... http://www.lawresearchservices.com/firms/admin/cpa-econ-journals.htm Resources and Links International Journal of Anarchism · International Journal of Applied Business and Economic Research · International Journal of Applied Econometrics and ... http://www.crsp.com/resources/links.html Benno Torgler - Researcher in Economics, Tax Compliance and Tax Morale International Journal of Anarchism · International Journal of Applied Economics · International Journal of Business and Economics ... http://www.torgler.com/benno/linksjournals.htm Interneteki Ekonomi Dergileri ... International Journal of Anarchism · International Journal of Business and Economics · International Journal of the Economics of Business ... http://www.seyfettinartan.gen.tr/journal.htm Economic journals on the web ... International Journal of Applied Econometrics and Quantitative Studies · International Journal of Anarchism · International Journal of Applied Economics ... http://cba.unomaha.edu/faculty/cdecker/WEB/Economic%20journals%20on%20the%20web.htm ad 2. "Material from reliable non-academic sources may also be used in these areas, particularly if they are respected mainstream publications." We have listed/quoted several newspaper/journal articles, a.o.t from Norway's largest newspaper and the two largest economic newspapers. Thus, this criterion is alos fulfilled. We have also quoted articles in the most reliable and largest anarchist journals outside IJA, the French Le Monde Libertaire, and the multilingual CRIFA bulletin. Also they are relevant non-academic sources. Thus, both 1. and 2. are fulfilled: I cannot see why the AI-Wikipedia page should not pass the WP:RS test. |
The above is an extended discussion that has been collapsed for improved usability. |
Just undelete the AI-Wikipedia and let it go through the WP:RS test: I am sure it will pass. I will of course also come up with more material and answer to questions if somebody have questions. We have more material/articles, than mentioned on the AI-Wikipedia page.
(Anna Quist (talk) 17:34, 24 July 2008 (UTC))
- Anna, I can't simply undelete the article. At the moment, this would be considered undoing another administrator's actions without their consent (see this page). This is being discussed on Delldot's talk page, as I said before. And there's no use you posting the same thing here as there... Alex Muller 21:17, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Deleted articles: Schreder HP-14 and Schreder HP-18
Alex,
Can you please restore the deleted articels Schreder HP-14 and Schreder HP-18 to my workspace so that I can address the copyright concerns that caused them to be G12'd? Thanks! BoKu (talk) 00:41, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid we can't restore the entire article of a copyright violation (see {{user recovery}}) but you can see what they were infringements of in the deletion log (by going to the article). Sorry, but hope this helps - Alex Muller 07:05, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Major changes to the AI-Wikipedia page
I have made som major changes to the AI-Wikipedia page, and I am sure it will meet the WP:RS standards this time. Thus I hope you will not delete it if I publish the new website on Wikipedia. What is your opinion? Please give a quick reply. The new material is: ...
I have also added another article to the Further readings list and added one new source at the External section.
I hope Wiki-consensus about publishing of the page can be reached before I publish it. What is your opinion? Is the page good enough for publishing?
The proposal to the new AI- Wikipedia page is in my sandbox, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Anna_Quist/Anarchist_International (Anna Quist (talk) 13:41, 25 July 2008 (UTC))
- You have the agreement of the deleting admin (Maxim) so what you have to do now is hit the "move" tab on the top of this page and call it whatever you want it called. Probably Anarchist International. Cheers, Alex Muller 16:12, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Population Action International: RF restore deleted page + history to userspace
Hello. After a long wiki-break I notice a few deletions which I do not understand. One of them is the deletion of Population Action International, on grounds that it was copyright-infringing. I do not know if the latest additions where copyright-infringing, but it sure was not when I started it (around nov. 2006 I think). Is it possible to restore the article & its history (to my userspace)? Cheers, maarten (talk) 06:50, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- As far as I can see, every deleted revision has some copyright violation of this in it, so I'm afraid it can't be restored. Apologies, Alex Muller 06:58, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Curious. I found [6] some of my original contribution back, and restored if from that. I do not know for sure if it was the case, but I have noticed a tendency where stubs/unwatched articles about existings NGO's get spotted by their PR departements, and filled by themselves with their own "press talk". See for instance the edit history of EngenderHealth or Population Reference Bureau (User:Ellencarnevale = Ellen Carnevale, Vice President of Communications and Marketing of PRB). Thanks for looking into it though, maarten (talk) 16:16, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Invitation to Wikipedia meetup in London
Date: 13:00 onwards, Sunday 10 August 2008
Venue: Penderel's Oak pub, Holborn WC1 map
More information: Wikipedia:Meetup/London 12
Hello,
I noticed that you have listed yourself as a Wikipedian in London, so I thought you might like to come to one of our monthly social meetups. The next one is going to be on Sunday 10 August, which might well be rather short notice, but if you can't come this time, we try to have one every second Sunday of the month.
If you haven't been before, these meetups are mainly casual social events for Wikipedia enthusiasts in which we chat about Wikipedia and any other topics we fancy. It's a great way to meet some very keen Wikipedians, but we'd also love for you to come along if you're interested in finding out more about Wikipedia, other Wikimedia projects, or other collaborative wiki projects too.
The location is a pub that is quite quiet and family friendly on a Sunday lunchtime, so hopefully younger Wikipedians will also feel welcome and safe. Alcohol consumption is certainly not required!
Although the meetups are popular, many UK-based editors still don't know about them. It would be great to welcome some fresh faces, so I hope you can come along.
Yours,
James F. (talk) 09:27, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Please forgive the slightly impersonal mass-invite!

Hi,
If an IP is blocked because multiple users are using it cant the good guy create an account and use that? (while still blocking the IP edits) I believe this "tactic" is already applied to universities? Could draw in more users from the dynamic IP pool's. If the technology is already implemented it shouldn't be much more work as updating the blocking policy? I was looking at this user: [7] It made me thing that must be some awkward wikipedia experience if he is speaking the truth? How would you feel? lol
I think we need him to write articles for us. :-)
Of course it is also a great importunity for Vandals to get a second chance that they didn't deserve. But the account would already be flagged and easy to deal with. Technically there was no need to ban the good. Wikipedia could expand upon the assume good faith thing here I think? I'm sure you know a better spot to voice this if it's a good idea. Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0
Hi there Alex.muller,
As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.
We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up if you are located near London at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
Thanks for reading.

Help with restoration of article
Hi there, Can you please help me with getting a deleted article back? It was called STAR Group and was marked for speedy deletion in August and disappeared before I had the chance to respond. Could you either email me the thing or post it on my talk page? Thanks! --Daha6439 (talk) 15:07, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Done, to User:Daha6439/STAR Group. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 19:30, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
Can you restore the article on Inflatable Icons?
Hi Alex. I don't know how precisely this works but could you help me to restore the article on Inflatable Icons? I did not log in for about a bit more than a month and the article is gone. The is was marked for speedy deletion because of the lack of context. I would be happy to provide more context.
all the best, —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dragentsheets (talk • contribs) 20:59, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Sure - I've put a copy of the article at User:Dragentsheets/Inflatable Icons for you. You can now work on the article without it being deleted so quickly, and then let me know if you need any other help. Cheers, Alex Muller 21:24, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Inflatable Icons article edited: what is next?
Alex, millions thanks! I added context to the article. Now the question is how to restore the article? Is that something I can do or would you have to do that?
cheers, Alex —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dragentsheets (talk • contribs) 21:54, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- No problem - it looks perfectly fine, but I'll just have a proper read through now to make sure. In the mean time if you could add any other neutral links to it, that would help the case. Cheers, Alex Muller 22:05, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Untitled the musical
Hey Alex -- You left me a message long ago and I haven't been on lately to check, and now it's gone regarding the recreation of the old article for Untitled the Musical that was deleted on false accusations of plagiarism. I've gotten all the legal stuff squared away to ensure that the rights to the text were legit. What now? Thanks Jjbalcou (talk) 08:15, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
company info
Hi Alex,
I wrote some background info on a Czech company under list of companies of the czech republic as this list is really small. I intended to write short descriptions of some of the local players so wikipedia users can have a quick access to basic informations concerning local organisations.
My first page was deleted so I re-wrote it without any links to avoid being seen as an add. The second page was also deleted immediatly. Could you please help me with this? Thanks in advance! CEE market (talk) 11:36, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Article restoration
Hi, Alex. I made an article called Saw/Theories last night and it was marked for speedy deletion around 3:12AM - When I woke up, it was gone, and I didn't have a backup of the content anywhere. Could you email it to me? Thanks.
--Dvdkid919 (talk) 22:11, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- Done. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 22:57, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
???
Hi
You left a message on my accoutn and I don't understand why. I have not even been at my PC over the last hour or so, and to log back into Wikipedia to find your comment I find offensive and a slur on my character. Personally, I feel busy-bodies like yourself who 'police' Wikipedia unnessicarily are spoiling it for everyone. To be called a vandal is tantamount to slander, and I have already contacted my lawyers.
RM —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rumbo mumbo (talk • contribs) 12:35, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- You made these two edits to the Kilimanjaro article, which were vandalism. I'm not going to block you per WP:NLT, but only because I have better things to do. Enjoy your day, Alex Muller 12:47, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, by the way. I'm at university, and just thought I'd ask someone doing law here. Slander is spoken. I don't think we've spoken, but I do think you have no clue what you're on about. Fun fun fun, Alex Muller 16:27, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Your comments still make very little sense to me. I can verify (with witnesses) that I was on a lunch break at the Redhill McDonalds at the time of the edits, so therefore they were not by me. I suggest that in the future you do not jump to conclusions regarding edits. Also, your condescending attitude towards others could also be in need of some revision.
RM —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rumbo mumbo (talk • contribs) 17:03, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- They were from your account, so you're responsible for them. I know they were from your account because your name is next to them. This isn't difficult. And I'm being condescending because you threatened me with legal action. Normally I'm nice. Mostly. Maybe. Cheers, Alex Muller 17:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
page deletion
Cheers. I recently had a pretty expansive page deleted despite attempts to convice a Monitor it should be kept valid. Can you email me a copy of the page entitled "Astrowars" so that I may make it more to Terilla's liking?? thanks,

hi, the Artisian page was deleted by a disgruntled ex memeber, I cant make any sence as to why, the person who deleted, hasnt answered wiht a straight response, and we would like to have it put back up. we were not contacted to contest teh deletion, when it was pending, proof of our existence etc can be seen at www.artisian.co.nr and www.myspace.com/artisainmetal you will see we have been very active, have 3 albums released on 3 notable labels in extreme metal and feel this is infair in the highest order. regards

- I'd encourage you to take the matter to deletion review if you feel the article was deleted unfairly. However, I should warn you that after looking at the deleted page, you'll stand a better chance of getting it restored if you create a draft first. Hope this helps, Alex Muller 20:02, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
