Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my talk page so quickly ;). --Chetblong (talk) 04:21, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes there are 2 that I would recommend, WP:TW and WP:HUG. Also if you want I can give you WP:ROLLBACK, which is very useful when reverting. I see you already have it. --Chetblong (talk) 04:32, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you

...for answering my "help me" request the other day concerning Wikipedia images not loading in SeaMonkey. The problem turned out to be that the "image manager" in SeaMonkey (equivalent to the "content tab" in Firefox, I believe) had somehow decided to block images from Wikpiedia. Who knows why? Gremlins. Anyway, I unblocked the site and everything works. Thank you, again. Jeffmatt (talk) 15:54, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj

Thanks for your suggestion. This person is a sockpuppeteer who has been trying to remove this article for a long tim. Look at the talk page, and see a comment by Sfacets before he was banned from wikipedia. So whether i say why the article should be deleted or not, he will come back later under a different name and try to vandalize or remove the article.

Anyway, why should the article remain. I will comment on each accusation. 1.It may contain original research or unverifiable claims. Sfacets complained of this before. Every statment is sourced, so i dont see how it could be original research. 2. It may violate Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons. The rape allegations contain information that the claims were dropped. 3. It reads like a personal reflection or essay. I dont think it does. 4. It reads like an advertisement and needs to be rewritten from a neutral point of view. I changed some of the wordings. 5. It describes a work or element of fiction in a primarily in-universe style that may require cleanup. It doesnt. It describes a religious personality. Kripaluji Maharaj's beliefs and teachings may be unique to Hinduism, but they need to be stated. 6. It is an autobiography, or has been extensively edited by the subject, and may not conform to NPOV policy. There is no proof that Kripaluji Maharaj had anything to do with this article. As regard NPOV policy, SFacets complained about this before. Since that time, more sources have been cited. 7. It may contain improper references to self-published sources. It contains references to self-published sources wrt. his beliefs and teachings. Otherwise not. 8. It resembles a fan site. Sfacets tried to remove information stating that the rape allegations were dropped. Stating that the allegations were dropped doesnt make it a fan site. All the information is sourced, and i believe that it is mostly written in a neutral style. 9. I will put all this on the article's talk page.

Virgin Nigeria destinations article

I agree a handful of destinations does not warrant a seprate article, but since Virgin Nigeria destinations article exists and shows up when searching for Virgin Nigeria, it should be allowed to be linked to the main airline article or be removed by you or other editors from search list.(202.133.72.200 (talk) 16:19, 1 May 2008 (UTC))

TAR Talk Page

Are you just dissatisfied that you failed to get my page deleted after I "insulted" your English? -_- Anyway, I'm not using the talk page as a forum. I'm just merely presenting the REALITY that there HAVE been sightings since the whole thing is disallowed on the main page via the Wiki Policy, which I really think is so ridiculous since the information is so concrete. I'm not inducing any discussion about this "unreliable" source that you keep complaining about (albeit the fact that these sources have been proven true so many times) but just presenting the fact of information for those who WANT to know. DanielTAR (talk) 09:47, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

If anything, I apologize for the "personal attack" on you. It was meant to be a passing remark. But what I am trying to bring across here is that sometimes, people upload things on Wikipedia not to harm the site and policies sometimes do not apply to everything. Yes, it is not press-verified sources but it's substantial enough to show something. Since it's not on the main page where everything apparently has to be encyclopedia-quality and verified, I don't see why discussing spoilers on talk pages are not allowed. Anyway, I don't wanna argue about this. It's really a waste of time. If you really don't want the information up there, it's fine. It's not like I'm benefiting from putting such things up anyway. I just know that people WANT to know about such things, even if its unverified. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DanielTAR (talkcontribs) 09:16, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for removing the vandalism from my user page.

Wow, you've worked hard! Maybe it would be more clear if you just add the table classification of each group and the result between the teams, like in the 2006 Thomas & Uber Cup article, and then, create another article with the group matches details between the national teams and all the badmintonboxes of the groups. What do you think? Do you like the idea? MontanNito (talk) 19:17, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Why did you feel the need to put the blank the article and put a copyright warning on the page rather than just removing the copyrighted material from the page?

Also, what part exactly of the article contained a copyright infringement, because I have read the article in it's previous form and I can't see anything wrong with it as all quotes have speech marks around them to show that it is something which has been said!!

Field hockey cards

Hi Aleen, thanks a lot for fixing that!!! :) I think you are right, using a shorter name would be better. Would you be able to do this? - my skills using tables and templates are not that good. I think it would be nice to have a picture for the goals like soccer too...I have been thinking about this for a long time. Maybe a small picture of a hockey stick?? I could try to draw one in Illustrator like the cards?? It would be good to have all this ready for the Olympic Games!! let me know what you think thanks! Goldfinger820 (talk) 07:33, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi Aleen, speedy delete is fine!! "discipline" is correct :) I will try to make a hockey ball and stick illustration (like for soccer) Have a look at the FIH results book (http://www.fihockey.org/vsite/vnavsite/page/directory/0,10853,1181-116775-118042-nav-list,00.html) you can see they have a table at the bottom of each game sheet showing who scored the goal, and if it was a pc, ps or fg. maybe we could make the results show this? Goldfinger820 (talk) 08:27, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
I think it would be good like this Name of player who scores, , Type of goal (PC, PS, FG), time goal scored then it would be very similar to the soccer (see here). I will start work on the picture!!! Goldfinger820 (talk) 08:40, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
your new goal templates look good Aleen! thank-you for this!! Goldfinger820 (talk) 01:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Terminated destinations list

These lists sometimes become too long if an airline has suspended lots of destinations and they also start looking unappealing when country names are added, though the current uniform format is good, but country names should not be included only city and airport should be lsited, like in Alitalia destinations for example, looks much neater.116.71.38.55 (talk) 19:11, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Air India article

This guy called Jaspel seems to have taken charge of the article especially destinations section and is not accepting anyones additions in there, can you please ask him to allow others to make their own edits too, in the past he went around messing up all airline destination lists, could be hes disgruntled beacuse so many people warned him not to change the formats to suit his own whims.116.71.63.178 (talk) 18:47, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Can you make corrections in Air India Group destinations and change Middle East to Southwest Asia, Northeast Asia to East Asia Burma to Myanmar, Rangoon to Yangon, Mingaladon Airport to Yangon International Airport Americas to North America Afghanistan to be moved to Southwest Asia, and set them all in their alphabetical order. Jaspel will most likely revert your edits so you have to issue him a warning to not change wikipedia format and titles for listing airline destinations continent and region wise and using current country, city and airport names.116.71.63.178 (talk) 18:53, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
I correct some part, about Myanmar, because WP use Burma (discussion about move still ongoing), so i can't do that. Another is about Americas, that is pretty normal. I add some edit summary there, so i think it won't a big deal. Your comments in the first part is all about ownership, which WP prohibit. Tell me with evidence if he did again. --Aleenf1 07:36, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, you didnt move Afghanistan to Southwest Asia as its listed in WikiProject airline destinations also Kabul International airport is the actual Wiki article title. As for the ownership issue, one example is that in the terminated destinations list he keeps removing airport names if you add them and information on the fact that soeme destinations are now served code share with partner airlines.203.81.209.117 (talk) 14:20, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
In geographic, Afghanistan listed in South Asia (as in Asia article), so move this could cause controversy. I will keep eye on him. --Aleenf1 08:49, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Iran and Afghanistan in Southern Asia just dosent make sense, ethnically or cultruallyu, both are listd in Southwest Asia in wikiproject airports and airline destination list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.81.219.47 (talk) 17:01, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Dates

Hi Aleen, Thanks for your message. Could you point out where on Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) it says that? I read the dates section of that page before I made the edit and saw that it says "ISO 8601 dates (1976-05-31) are uncommon in English prose, and are generally not used in Wikipedia. However, they may be useful in long lists and tables for conciseness and ease of comparison." I reverted it back to the way you had made it (August 11 2008 etc....) (it seems easier to read that way too)  :) Goldfinger820 (talk) 07:59, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

reverting redirected articles

Can articles be reverted to their original page after being redirected? El Al Cargo leads now to El Al main article, previously it opened to its own article, so can this be revived, please do so if you can.203.81.239.135 (talk) 17:00, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

What its the point to be revived? I found this El Al destinations #El Al Cargo Destinations too, so i do compared, and both and main article is almost identical. Can you give more reason? I want to make sure i didn't do the wrong things. --Aleenf1 06:32, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Because EL AL Cargo is independant of EL AL since 1997, the small but seperate article existed but some reason some one had it redirected to El Al, they also had other seprate cargo articles redirected these included Air India Cargo, Saudi Arabian Airlines Cargo and Cathay Pacific Cargo which wa sthe best looking and as good as Singapore Airlines Cargo article, Air India Cargo was revived a few weeks back but if dont feel satisfied with this explanation, then forget it. But people are wanting to have seprate articles for cargo divisions and many such articles exist on wikipedia.117.102.28.52 (talk) 14:39, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Israel TAR

Here goes.

In the contest several couples are trying to overcome other contestants going from place to place in the world. In every place a mission waits for the contestants, and every day they are bound to go thousands of kilometres by car, plane and every other transport they can find ... sounds like a dream? Come to participate!

Signing up to the contest can be done only through Reshet website.

A moment before you start flying around the world, there are a few steps that you need to complete while you are still in The Land [this means "in Israel"]

1. Fill your personal details. 2. Fill the sign-up form. 3. Attach a picture. 4. Attach a video clip of 3 minutes. 5. Pay 25 NIS with a credit card. 6. Read and accept the explanation page and the letter of disclaimer. [I suppose that it's a legalese insurance thing; don't even try to ask me to translate it.]

Participation in the primary contest is in couples, but the sign-up is personal. Each one of the couple must complete the sign-up process by himself.

To identify the couple, the system will attach a unique id number to the first of the couple that will complete the sign-up. The second one will will be asked to enter this id number and also the national identification card number of his partner. [An Israeli identification card is like a passport, but for internal use; in the States you usually use a social security card or a driving license instead of that.]

The sign-up will be completed only after completing all the basic steps and filling up separate forms by every partner.

Ready, set ... You're on the way to the million!

Amire80 added the things in brackets. I guess it's too early. Shapiros10 contact meMy work 20:16, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Colors

Hi Aleen, I agree - i think the grey does look a little messy. I think the original one with no color was the best one. I think if you use a color it will make the information harder to read.

I have one other suggestion for you. I was thinking we could do something similar to football for the penalty strokes. Instead of using Green tickY and Red XN we could use field hockey ball and that one with a cross through it (like soccer ball with red X and rupenmiss) What do you think?

Thanks a lot for your great help with the hockey pages for the olympics! I think they are looking like some of the best olympics pages! Goldfinger820 (talk) 03:52, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

The new hockey ball icons look great!  :) Let me know if there is anything I can help with  :) Goldfinger820 (talk)

I have uploaded some hockey ball images with FG, PC and PS inside them to wiki commons (in the category "field hockey") The jpg ones look better but I think the letters are too hard to see at 14px?? The writing is black and some of the ball is black too. Let me know what you think. Goldfinger820 (talk) 05:52, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

I have created some new versions , and . I tryed to use a different colour for the letters but i decided not to because it didn't look very good - black always looked the best. I have reduced the shading in the ball so you can see the letters easier. hope you think it is ok - I am not very good at using illustrator but have tryed my best to get them looking good!  :) Goldfinger820 (talk) 06:12, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Standings after each Grand Prix

Please stop making edits such as this. Consensus has changed. See here and here. The only problem with it before was that IP's were inserting it in a horrible format, with no references. I suggest you revert your recent edits. Thanks, D.M.N. (talk) 14:41, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Ooh, sorry for that, but i will not. Listing only for top 5 in the standings? Is awful than nothing. Another problem that is no equality, some article did and some is none. So rollback yourself. I do very much coverage. Is never put in mind if no one honour my works. --Aleenf1 14:55, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
The feature is implemented perfectly well, in the FA, the 1995 Japanese Grand Prix. I personally don't see any problem with it. I'm undoing recent edits from you. You should have looked to see if consensus had changed before mass-removing them. D.M.N. (talk) 14:57, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, is much consensus in WP, did you think i have time to read all? Go and do it, i did not mind at all. --Aleenf1 15:01, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Guess not. Anyway, I've undo the edits, leaving a note in the summary. Kind regards, D.M.N. (talk) 15:12, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Anyway, thanks for your mention, you stop me from doing much more wrong things. --Aleenf1 15:17, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Actually, I see your username pop up on my watchlist quite often, due to updating qualifying during race weekends, without you the IP's would be swarming all over it - but you manage to insert the detail almost immediately. =) D.M.N. (talk) 15:26, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Some people are changing names of airline articles and writing them in styles that were designed to be applied in their liveries e.g as bmi when it should be as BMI, Airblue when it should be as Air Blue, airBaltic when it should be as Air Baltic, please correct these to article standards and enforce rule not to write airline names as they are on the airlines livery which is just a design and marketing style.116.71.39.191 (talk) 19:12, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi, actually, that is right, many titles is naming as from official flight company such as logo, what from official website. About BMI, it is bmi also, so it should can be use both way, but the project page should clarify which way should be use. Maybe you can shown me the related project talk. --Aleenf1 08:20, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
