[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Cyclone Mora does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. This can be especially helpful to other contributors when you make large numbers of edits within a short period of time, so they know what information you're adding without having to check diffs for each edit. ~ KN2731 {talk} 13:52, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mimi Chakraborty, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dev (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:48, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
The article Rituparna Sengupta filmography has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Duplicates the table already found in the article
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Highway 89 (talk) 17:04, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

Removed content from Dimple Kapadia filmography
[edit]Hi there,
I wanted to let you know that I removed some of the content you added to Dimple Kapadia filmography. While it is great you have made a filmography page for Dimple Kapadia, you copied-and-pasted the intro/first 3 paragraphs from the main article with no modification. The lead should be specific to her filmography and not replicate the main article. I have shortened the lead for now and if I have time, will expand on it, using what I can from the main article where possible. ~riley (talk) 01:24, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
Reena Roy filmography moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Reena Roy filmography, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copying within Wikipedia
[edit] Hi Alaha.cyclone! Thank you for your edits to Mala Sinha filmography. It looks like you've copied or moved text from Mala Sinha into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 14:29, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
