Regarding to revert an edit

[edit]

Sir, in Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil article there is a minor mistake in early life paragraph. Dr. Shamsheer has done MD"at" Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. One of the user (Abrjestin) has removed "at" and instead of that he added "from" which is inappropriate according to grammar.

  • One more thing that user (Abrjestin) has removed the high quality profile picture of Dr. Shamsheer present in the info box with a low quality one.

Would you please! restore the correct preposition (at) there and also restore the previous profile picture in the info box. Thank you. (223.230.151.63 (talk) 16:22, 1 August 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Information icon Despite the advice given at the help desk, it appears that you created three articles in mainspace without addressing the issues brought up in replies you were given. The pages are not up to the standard that Wikipedia requires and will require a considerable amount of work and research by other editors (which they should not have to do) to bring them up to an acceptable level. Please study the links in the welcome message above and see WP:REFB for how to correctly add references. Statistics belong in the infobox. Also, the pages seem to be a 'copy and paste' move. Typically this is prohibited on Wikipedia (see WP:CWW for more information. Eagleash (talk) 13:40, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I do not use transcripts in the script. But I'm Iraqi and my English is not 100% good so write all articles in one style and style. I swear to you that all the information is through the search I do about the characters for more than two days without taking comfort. I would like all existing editors to help me improve the articles I write

The question of copy and paste relates to the transferring of content from the draft article to the page in mainspace. This can lead to various copyright issues but is less of a problem if you created the original Wikipedia content (the draft) yourself. Please do not transfer articles by copy and pasting the content. When you consider a draft is ready for mainspace you can submit it for review by adding {{subst:submit}} to the top of the draft. I would suggest that you do not create more content directly in the mainspace until you have more experience. Would mention that competency in language and associated skills is a requirement of Wikipedia. See WP:CIR. Not heeding advice given is also something which will not please the Wiki community. (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 14:44, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have articles in Arabic Wikipedia and I know all the laws. But I wrote the draft by mistake and now you deleted it. Will this affect the articles you have written? I have another question . If the article has been reviewed and accepted, it will be deleted or installed

thank you for helping me

Multiple editors have said that the drafts are not up to standard, yet you have ignored their advice. I have no knowledge of the Arabic Wikipedia and language varieties of Wiki tend to differ in their requirements. So, your experience there may not carry much weight here. You were advised to seek out football player articles at the en.Wiki to see how they are laid out etc. but your pages do not comply with the conventions. A fair amount of work will be required by other editors to bring them up to standard and this is not something that should happen and may be regarded as disruptive if you do not heed advice. That could ultimately lead to the loss of editing privileges. Again, please do not create further pages directly in the mainspace and again (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 15:25, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your advice. But I swear to you I read all the tips and try to apply them in all ways but you have to continue my advice and help me I thank you very much

Ways to improve Basim Ali

[edit]

Hello, Akram.altameemi,

Thanks for creating Basim Ali! I edit here too, under the username Eagleash and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

Needs reference that has played (not just in the squad) in a full (nof lower age-group)international

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Eagleash}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

[edit]

Information icon In respect of Basim Ali, a citation is needed that he has played in a full international. I cannot find this in the sources provided so far. If he is merely in the squad and did not make an appearance, he will not pass the notability guidelines and the page could be deleted.

Please read WP:NFOOTY. Please note that the Iraqi Premier league is not a fully professional league and if a player has only made appearances in that league or lower leagues then he will fail notability also. Please see WP:FPL for more information.

The notability tag will remain until such time as the notability issues have been addressed and the claims can be verified in sources accessible to the reader.

Please do not mark edits as 'minor' unless they actually comply with WP:MINOR.

I am not sure if there is a misunderstanding in respect of the term 'copy-edit'. This refers to corrections to the article in respect of grammar, spelling, punctuation, mark-up anomalies etc. It does not refer to the copying of content from elsewhere. Eagleash (talk) 11:28, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

All the sources I have developed are for Iraqi professional players and all the articles about the players in Wikipedia are the same sources. The player is one of the top scorers in the Iraqi league now

Please read WP:NFOOTY and WP:FPL if a player hasn't played in fully professional league as per Wikipedia's list / definition then they fail notability and an article about them is likely to be deleted. Please confirm that you understand this. And again. (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 17:30, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Akram.altameemi (talk) 00:57, 2 August 2019 (UTC)The Iraqi league is now a professional league and ranks eighth in Asia. The Iraqi clubs play in the Asian champions. Knowing that the player is like Iraq's first team in the tournament in solidarity in Andosia in 2013 Akram.altameemi 03:56 , 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Iraqi premier league is not a fully professional league per WP:FPL. If you wish to begin a discussion as to its status, please raise the issue at WT:FOOTY. You will need to provide reliable evidence to substantiate your claim. Eagleash (talk) 09:27, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hamsa Majed moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Hamsa Majed, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:43, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

When you were told that your draft does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published, it was not sensible to submit the draft for review without addressing the problem. --David Biddulph (talk) 22:52, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Osama Naji requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  GILO   A&E  21:23, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see that the article is not worth deleting. Because the person in question is a famous Iraqi singer. He participated in the biggest singing competitions in Asia. He is one of the most famous artists in Iraq. So you wrote it up. If you find a reason for deletion, write me to modify the errorAkram.altameemi (talk) 21:32, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
