The article Pathikrit Basu has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. FitIndia Talk 19:30, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Ahmed Shobuz.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ahmed Shobuz.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 14:46, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

- Hi Ahmed Shobuz. I've added a copyright license for this file, so you can ignore the above message; however, for future reference each file you upload to Wikipedia needs to have basically two things: (1) a description or summary of the file (who created it, when it was created, who own the copyright on it, a source where it can be found, etc.) and (2) a copyright license. If you fail to provide either the file can be tagged for speedy deletion per WP:F4 or WP:F6. For item (1), you can use Template:Information if the file is freely licensed or a non-free use rationale if the file is non-free content; for item (2), you can finds examples of different types of copyright licenses at WP:ICT/ALL. If you've got any questions about this, feel free to ask for help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
- Now, regarding this specific file, I'm assuming that you found it somewhere online, downloaded it to your computer, and then uploaded it to Wikipedia. It would be a lot of help if you could add the url to the source website (i.e. the website where you got file) to the
|source=
parameter of the file's non-free use rationale. This will make it much easier for others to verify the file's copyright status, etc. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:43, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. - Hi again Ahmed Shobuz. Unfortunately, you cannot use non-free content such as this on your user page per WP:NFCC#9 and WP:UP#Non-free files because non-free files can only be used in articles. You may use freely licensed or public domain images found on Wikimedia Commons instead if you like. This file is going to be tagged for speedy deletion as "orphaned non-free use" per WP:F5 if it's not added to article. You'll receive a notification of this some time soon. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:48, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Ahmed Shobuz.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ahmed Shobuz.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:22, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
Non-free image use
[edit]Hi Ahmed Shobuz. I already posted something about this above in #File:Ahmed Shobuz.jpg, but perhaps you didn't notice it. You cannot use non-free content like files such as File:Ahmed Shobuz.jpg on your user page per WP:NFCC#9 and WP:UP#Non-free files because non-free files can only be used in articles. You may use freely licensed or public domain images found on Wikimedia Commons instead if you like. Please don't continue to add this file to your user page. If you have any questions about this, please ask below this post or at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- Marchjuly (talk) 09:15, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
