June 2022

Information icon Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ali Sina (activist), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. sources say anti-Muslim, you shouldn't change sourced text just because you don't agree with it. Doug Weller talk 14:40, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anti Muslim quotation is from a single source FaithFreedom which says "Anti-Muslim sites are strong and active, for example, Faith Freedom (faithfreedom.org)". Several quotes such as "dedicated to attacking Islam." and "Sina founded Faith Freedom International (FFI),[6] a popular anti-Muslim[7][8][9] counter-jihad website[5]: 47  that describes its aims as "unmask[ing] Islam and help[ing] Muslims leave [the faith]." shows that he is anti Islam not anti Muslim which are vastly two different things. He's another source from https://islamophobia.org/islamophobic-individuals/ali-sina/ which says "Ali Sina is a board member of Stop Islamization of Nations and the founder of faithfreedom.org where he publishes numerous anti-Islam papers and blog posts." showing that he is clearly anti Islam. AhmadMeta4 (talk) 12:53, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do we have solid secondary sources that describe it as "anti-Islam"? NebulaOblongata (talk) 16:58, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Will this suffice http://islamophobia.org/islamophobic-individuals/ali-sina/ AhmadMeta4 (talk) 10:59, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I doubt you can use the Council on American–Islamic Relations although maybe with attribution, but I would definitely ask at WP:RSN first. Doug Weller talk 12:49, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The block has been lifted, after doing some reading, all I had to do was to restart my network. Thank you AhmadMeta4 (talk) 15:54, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
