Welcome!

Hello Agent0042, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Ah, thank you! I appreciate that. I have already had a look at some of that, but will look around a bit more. And I will definitely be staying, thanks. Agent0042 22:57, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reasons for the cleanup tag were obvious, and hardly needed explaining. It wasn't presented in Wikipedia MoS form, and the language was unencyclopædic. Half of laboured an obvious point in an unnecessarily tentative way, and seemed to think that Shakespeare invented Puck... Taking out the speculation about the origin of the name, there was one sentence, which essentailly said that it was a character in a game. I've made it a redirect to the game-article. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:34, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Taking out the speculation --- there was one sentence that essentially said he was a character? There was a fair bit more than that --- I said that he was the first character Vivi met and that he was a Prince of Cleyra. As for the Wikipedia MoS --- I was just providing basic info to get things started --- surely you or somebody else could have added more, instead of just sending people over to the Final Fantasy IX page, which has *nothing* to say about Puck. And, in any case, if the Cleanup tag refers to people to the Talk page, then you should have posted something about it on the Talk page!

Thanks for uploading Image:Franklin_Feature_Movie.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 07:15, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't verify it. I believe it to be a small image designed for general press purposes. However, if it's not acceptable, than just delete it. Agent0042 18:17, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to go ahead and add a fair use tag. Agent0042 05:08, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Aria di Mezzo Carattere

[edit]

I can indeed hear some similarities between the Aria di Mezzo Carattere and Aeris's theme, but can you provide any source attesting to the fact that the Aria was the "inspiration" for Aeris, or is this simply your speculation? Andrew Rodland 11:37, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't have any firm sources at this time, so I guess it is just speculation. Maybe something, though, could still be added that there are noticeable musical similarities, even it's not an "inspiration." Agent0042 03:27, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TV.com edits

[edit]

Hey. Can you please cite the information you added? Please see WP:CITE on how to do this. Thanks. Jtrost (T | C | #) 02:16, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The information you added about editors and some users of certain levels being able to contribute content needs to be cited. Authoring information off the top of your head is considered original research. You need to cite somewhere on TV.com where that information has been previously published. Jtrost (T | C | #) 13:26, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think your basis for saying the information I added counts as "original research" is sketchy at best. However, since I can think of places where that information is posted, I will add citations for them as soon as I have a chance. (Probably sometime later today.) Agent0042 18:13, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Look at today's featured article for an example on how to reference sources. Basically, use the pages from TV.com that you got that information from and add inline citations using the {{ref}} and {{note}} templates. Jtrost (T | C | #) 23:05, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks, I'll get on that... Agent0042 23:10, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Toad Patrol Character Shot.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Toad Patrol Character Shot.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:39, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone keeps adding classic Nickelodeon programs on the List of programs broadcast by Noggin page.

[edit]

Some vandalizer keeps adding classic programs that were on Nickelodeon many years ago on the List of programs broadcast by Noggin page. The next time he keeps doing that, could you please revert it back to the original version? Please let me know what you think. I'd really aprpeciate this a whole lot. Thank you very much. AdamDeanHall (talk) 20:31, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that protection has been added to the page for right now-- however, should I see it happening, I will revert it. Agent0042 (talk) 08:27, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That vandalizer is adding classic programs that were on Nickelodeon many years ago on the List of programs broadcast by Noggin page again. I want that vandalizer blocked!! RIGHT NOW!! All right? AdamDeanHall (talk) 23:20, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So talk to an admin. I'm certainly not any sort of member of Wikipedia's staff. Agent0042 (talk) 09:37, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That vandalizer has added classic programs that were on Nickelodeon many years ago on the List of programs broadcast by Nick Jr. (TV channel) again. The next time he keeps doing that, could you please revert it back to the original version? Thank you very much. AdamDeanHall (talk) 22:44, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Mrm, okay, but that was a pretty bad merge on the list of Noggin to Nick Jr. For example, I don't see Olivia anywhere on the list. Oh well, whatever. I can't be bothered to spin my head about it anymore... Agent0042 (talk) 05:30, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

fetch

[edit]

to your comment on Aoi talk yes he did Marco was the grand champion. It is stated on his user page JimConroy38 (talk) Extremeguy (talk) 21:16, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe you-- your grammar is horrible-- you are not Jim Conroy. Edit-- okay, I got confused by the double signature. Either way, though, I don't believe this person is really Conroy. Agent0042 (talk) 04:54, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It is me this is true. --JimConroy38 (talk) 23:52, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I am going to ask Him a question that is realted to the show.

here's what I did Okay let's give this a try. Question's

How to you produce the show fetch with ruff ruffman from start to finish? How do you Get a hold of Kate taylor or macy guther from the show? what kind of screen is used when you produce fetch? Do you travel with the contestants while doing the voice of Ruff or how is it done? How long does it take to Make one season from start to finish? please explain answers in detail Also I suggest that you make a twitter account or some other kind of account. So you you know Ruffman is already taken for a user name. Also you could update the production and Cast and crew section on the fetch page thanks please respond. if you can think of other questions let me knowExtremeguy (talk) 23:18, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am not bothering-- the guy is such an obvious and terrible fraud that there is just no point. Besides, I think the answers to at least half your questions are already available and the other half, such as trying to get a hold of show staff, aren't reasonable. And I'm not interested in discussing the subject any further... Agent0042 (talk) 00:37, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Agent0042! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Fair use rationale for File:Harriet and Kit.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Harriet and Kit.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
