So sorry! Just joined Wiki and am learning the ropes. AbigailMKov (talk) 01:45, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(Note: I finished posting this before I saw the unblock request had been made.)
It seems you misunderstood or didn't know what Wikipedia's purpose is. Unfortunately, you didn't get the first pointer to WP:LINKSPAM until after all of your edits to articles. So now you know for sure its purpose is not to promote anything in any way. Among your edits, there was one [1] that suggested an interest other than just promotion (even though it was reverted for other policy reasons). The block notice describes the formal way to ask for an unblock. Read the guidelines. It has information on very specific things a request should provide for an administrator to conclude that an unblock will not be counterproductive. You might refer to that edit to demonstrate an interest in editing Wikipedia productively according to its purpose. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:33, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your response was super helpful! I read the article about what to include when requesting an unblock. Kept it short and simple and to the point so finger's crossed for an unblock. AbigailMKov (talk) 02:39, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:AbigailMKov/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:

Hi! I am so sorry for not following the rules. I was trying to make a page and get my 10 edits in so I could publish my page but did not realize it would be seen as spam. I have learned my lesson and am very sorry! It will not happen again! AbigailMKov (talk) 02:25, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

So you were gaming the system by promoting your company so you could create a promotional article about your company(and I presume place it in the encyclopedia yourself to avoid the draft submission process required of new users). That may not have been nefarious, but that's what you did nevertheless. You did declare a COI, but if you are employed by this company, the Terms of Use require you to make the stricter paid editing disclosure instead. I would suggest that you read WP:BOSS, and if you were asked to be here, have your superiors read it too. We're going to need to see a history of edits in areas unrelated to your company before we permit you to indirectly contribute about your company. If that's okay with you, please tell us what articles or topics you might edit about. If you have no other interest here, this is the end of the road. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:30, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Comment: I posted a hopefully helpful response at the top of the page before I saw that this unblock request had been already made. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:39, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'll also tell you that Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell about themselves and what they do. Your edits were sourced to press releases from the company and the teams it works with. This does not establish that the company is a notable company as Wikipedia defines one. Interviews, press releases, announcments of routine business activities(like the commencement of a business relationship), and other primary sources do not establish notability. A Wikipedia article about a company must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets that definition of a notable company. The vast majority of companies do not merit articles. See WP:PROMO and WP:YESPROMO. 331dot (talk) 09:30, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comment:Again, so sorry for my past mistakes! If allowed the chance, I can edit on the topics about Taylor Swift and her awards count as Wikipedia has them incorrect. Beyoncé’s award count for the VMAs as that is incorrect as well. Can also edit Real Housewives pages to make them more thorough. Would love the opportunity to be unblocked and have read all the blogs and links that have been provided to ensure I don’t break any rules in the future. 331dot (talk)
