I noticed that you copied

Oregon Ducks uniforms

Thanks for the old uniforms. However, the darker lines on the pants and the jerseys are for Pro Combat uniforms only, so the images will need to be edited to remove those. Also, the uniform template itself is for modern uniforms, so the style will have to be redesigned, since jerseys were quite different thirty years ago (think longer sleeves). Just look at Category:National_Football_League_uniforms. If you want to go ahead and redesign the template to be era-appropriate, go right ahead, but I'd like to see it before you start uploading it. I really do appreciate the help, though. I've got my hands full as is with modern-day uniforms, so thanks for any help you can give with old uniforms. If you don't mind, there are a few small things on the uniforms that I'd like to touch up as well. Thanks. Happy to help and appreciate advice and guidance as I'm new at this. The template I had was the only one I could find. There seem to be zillions of kit uniform templates for football but none for American football. I need to redo the "Donald Duck" uniform image anyway as the numbers are too low (they were moved to the upper shoulders to make room for the logo). I was also planning to go back farther in the Duck livery, as the pre-1967 uniforms were a bit different especially in the road versions which looked just like UCLA's whites (see http://www.benzduck.com/journal/2011/3/21/the-oregon-uniform-1950-1999.html). Joe Lillard

I'll do some further research later today on whether he was actually an All-American. Sources can be wrong or misleading on occasion, and it's sometimes difficult to tell even for experienced writers, especially when you aren't that familiar with the topic otherwise. Didn't find any real evidence that he was truly an All-American, and the ESPN College Football Encyclopedia I own didn't list Lillard among the All-Americans for 1931. That's now gone from the article. I also failed to find firm evidence that Lillard played baseball at Oregon, although multiple sources I've found state that he played multiple sports at Oregon (of course, they don't say what the other sports are). It's possible that he played other sports during his freshman year, since he was a sophomore in 1931, as some new information I found and added to the article reveals. Still, I can't prove anything and have removed the baseball part for that reason. Thank you for bringing the discrepancies to my attention. I really need to work on the article more in the future, because I agree with you that he is a fascinating figure. Giants2008 (Talk) 20:47, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Oregon Ducks football

Hi Abdoozy, sorry for not responding sooner. I've been in somewhat of a hiatus and didn't see your message until today when I went to update the Oregon Ducks track and field page with the recent women's indoor title. I blazed through the article really quick and it looks much better. Some of the "eyesores" have been eliminated and it's in general, much cleaner that it was before. I’ve skimmed through the article and decided to focus on the broader stuff first. I think it makes more sense to do this before getting into the nitty gritty details. It appears we have three basic templates or articles to follow; Georgia Tech Yellowjackets football, Maryland Terrapins football, and the template from the CFB wikiproject.

• With the above in mind, this is my proposal for organization per the above:

• History
  • All history subcategories
• Venues and facilities (I think this name is better than "Home stadium"; there is much to write about Oregon's facilities than just the venue.)
• Culture (or "Traditions")
  • Merge rivalries here(?)
• Bowl game history (or make it a subcat of "Team Achievements" here)
• Notable Players (or "Individual Achievements"?)
• Coaches and staff (since the history section is organized around coaches, I don't think this section is necessary (edit: changing my tune here; a section focusing on just the coaches is probably useful since the history section focuses on the program. --Cluskillz (talk) 23:25, 18 March 2012 (UTC)))
• Uniforms (to me, it seems that uniforms are less important than the above categories; or merge into the "Culture" section)

• In the history section, maybe there are too many segments? Some "eras" are only four seasons in length, just one recruiting cycle. Perhaps some can be merged together unless some of those short eras are particularly notable.
• As Kelly has settled in as HC, some of his methods have been discussed more and more. The pace of his offense, the zone read, his attention to details. The major changes that characterize Kelly's teams can perhaps be the lead into the Kelly era section before jumping into a chronological recount.
• Good job on reducing the length of the Bellotti era. I think I went way overboard when I put it in there. Could perhaps be done further still (In this and maybe other sections as well like the Kelly era). Merge some game stuff and finer details into individual season articles. Major assistant coaching changes should stay (ie. Crowton leaving for Kelly) but stuff like Roper throwing four TD passes and Stewart gaining 253 rushing yards in the Sun Bowl should probably be in the 2007 Oregon Ducks football team article instead of this one. Maybe a mention of the Sun Bowl victory capping off the 2007 season is appropriate but individual stats, et al, should probably be left off. Likewise, the details of the off field controversy will probably become cumbersome as the section grows over time. Some things can maybe stay like James's Doak Walker Award since it's the first national award a Duck player has received. Likewise, "The Pick" has become so legendary that it should probably remain as well.
• Venues: mention the "arms race"? Therapy center, academic support center, locker rooms, Cas expansion, etc. and Knight's involvement with the projects. It's been fairly big news over the past decade. Mosho center pretty good start on it.
• Rivalries can probably be expanded a little bit. I'm always a bit...confused...as to how much should go on the parent article vs the detailed article. Not sure if there's a specific guideline somewhere or something. I noticed you tagged the rivalry with USC. Much like some claims of a Cal-USC rivalry years ago, I don't think one really exists outside the most zealous fans and the line can probably be deleted soon. Should the Platypus Trophy be mentioned? I was a bit shocked when I noticed it has its own page.
• Nice shot of LMJ...are you on the sidelines during games? I wonder if his part is disproportionately large for the notable players section. Some of it can possibly be exported to LMJ's article. Do you think Mel Renfro & co's world record in the 4x400 notable for this article?
• Uniforms section still seems pretty large. Not sure what can be done with it at this time. I guess a lot happens on that front. Some of it is duplicative. For example, the middle of the first paragraph states the same thing as the end of the third paragraph. Maybe even a new strategy and overhaul to organize the section is needed.
• Traditions/Culture section? A bit difficult since the Ducks seem to have a distinct lack of tradition as is proud of it. I believe there is even a billboard inside the Mosho denouncing tradition. Maybe something about this can be mentioned if you can find a supporting article. I'm 90% sure I read a column about just that somewhere online. The Duck's pushups? There was some buzz about that during the 2010 season. The Harley? Don Essig's quote? The walk over the footbridge? The O hand signal? I'm not sure how notable any of those really are.
• Not sure how significant this is, but the coaches section can maybe mention the continuity of the coaching staff. Few programs have the coaching consistency as Oregon. Some assistant coaches have been at Oregon for decades. Recent ESPN article stated that as of a few days ago, only Oregon has had the same coaching staff since the start of 2009.
• Nice to see the statistics section gone. That section was just a nightmare.

College football uniforms

I'm about to get back to work on updating the college football uniforms for the upcoming season, but it's highly likely that I won't be providing Wikipedia with any further updates. Unfortunately, unless the rules change, I have to compromise the quality of my work in order to fit into the rules Wikipedia has. I don't like the rules and I certainly don't like the draconian people who enforce them without regard for the work, but I can't change any of that. Therefore, I'm probably going to continue my work elsewhere on a site I've been working on for a while. User:JohnnySeoul has a far superior template to what I use and I'm thinking of updating to that template. You've been a great help in working on the CFB uniforms and I would appreciate your collaboration on the site, especially with regards to older college football uniforms.
