There's clearly an overlap here. You haven't explained the overlap in editing and as this appears to be a violation of WP:MEAT, I'm endorsing the block. Yamla (talk) 20:09, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I can't explain other people's actions. The timing was completely incidental. I am familiar with the publication and the industry and have been making contributions to several pages.

This is deeply misleading. You are more than just "familiar with the publication". If you are unwilling to exactly specify your conflict of interest and your exact relationship to the other accounts, you have no place here. Stop playing games. --Yamla (talk) 20:20, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Frankly, if you really just happened by chance coincidence to come along and start doing what looks like promotional editing about a business just as that business started using two accounts to promote itself on Wikipedia, and if as well as that your surname really is "Nicks" and your first initial "A" then the amount of remarkable coincidence going on is truly astonishing. I am very confused. I am not a paid by this magazine. I'm not sure how to prove it other than to say I'm not. I am just trying to contribute to the knowledge base that is Wikipedia. None of my edits have been advertorial, only unbiased, purely factual information about the apartment industry and a publication that I read. Please help me understand how this works so I can do it better. I have no ulterior motive, I'm just trying to contribute. What can I do to fix this?
