What Wikipedia is not

[edit]

Wikipedia is not a free webhost. As you have had a page taken to MFD before, I strongly suggest you read the user page guidelines, WP:NOTWEBHOST and WP:FAKEARTICLE and either you work on improving Oldest people by year of birth with citations and contribute to the Encyclopedia as per WP:HERE, or you save your table and host it elsewhere. CommanderLinx (talk) 16:31, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a draft for a future update of the page you mentioned. So the material here will be used in the future, when there is enough confidence that it is correct. 930310 (talk) 16:36, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:930310/sandbox

[edit]

User:930310/sandbox, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:930310/sandbox and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:930310/sandbox during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 20:25, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for deletion/Ramona Trinidad Iglesias-Jordan: Request for examples of significant coverage

[edit]

Hi. You recently voted "keep" in the discussion @ Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ramona Trinidad Iglesias-Jordan. Please note that there is no specific notability guideline for "oldest person," and any reliance on such a guideline or presumed precedent is misplaced. All such "oldest persons" must satisfy the general notability guidelines per WP:GNG, as well as other suitability guidelines such as WP:NOPAGE, in order to have a stand-alone article. You are respectfully requested to please provide links to what you believe are the three best examples of significant coverage of the subject in independent, reliable sources per GNG, so other editors may evaluate whether such persons are notable. Thank you. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 23:43, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/153.151.83.197, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request for enforcement of ArbComm Discretionary Sanctions against you

[edit]

See here [1] Legacypac (talk) 12:03, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction

[edit]

The following sanction now applies to you:

Topic ban from Longevity broadly construed

You have been sanctioned for the reasons provided in response to this arbitration enforcement request.

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at age#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Spartaz Humbug! 19:25, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request for 5 minute survey

[edit]

Hi! I'm a researcher from the University of Minnesota conducting a study on LGBT user contributions to Wikipedia. Would you be willing to answer a short five minute survey? If so, I would appreciate if you could drop me an email at leung085@umn.edu — Preceding unsigned comment added by Weiwensg (talkcontribs) 22:41, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I had to remove your edit to the talk page as you are topic banned from longevity articles. As per WP:TBAN this also includes talk pages. CommanderLinx (talk) 00:52, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
