Information icon Hello, I'm Backendgaming. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Soldier, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
And I am S. Rich, a retired soldier. Yes, some soldiers suffer from PTSD following combat. But this aspect of the topic is too specific, too narrow for the article. Soldiers may suffer death, capture (POW status), severe injury, etc. Also, they may enjoy adventure, patriotism, a career, educational benefits, glory and more. But we cannot put these aspects of soldiering into the article, much less in the lead paragraphs. – S. Rich (talk) 05:14, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
