Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Barack Obama for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. SMP0328. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Kit Carson. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Howard Hughes. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. General Ization Talk 01:44, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There are multiple problems with your recent edits. You are making changes to important biographical facts, such as dates and places of birth and death, without references supporting your changes. You are also creating separate links for city and state, as Huntsville, Alabama, when the widely accepted best practice is to use one link, as Huntsville, Alabama. Most readers know what the U.S. states are, and those who do not can easily find out by clicking the link. For example, the article for Huntsville, Alabama has a link to Alabama in its first sentence. I have corrected a few of the links you modified, but you might consider correcting the remainder of your edits. You can see a list of your edits by clicking "Contributions" at the top of any Wikipedia page. If you have any questions, feel free to drop a message on my user talk page by clicking on the telephone symbol following my username. Thank you. ―Mandruss  03:54, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Barack Obama. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Part of the 'perfectly sane', Sheriff pose--? Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Howard Hughes. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Please take your issues to the article's talk page. Other editors will be happy to discuss them with you there. Your edits are disputed and therefore cannot be made without consensus. Thank you.Mandruss  04:40, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism, as you did to Howard Hughes, will not be tolerated. Vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, although your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia without further notice. General Ization Talk 02:00, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
