Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in James T. Elwell, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 06:09, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I noted your pending article

[edit]

While it is pending I suggest you consider moving the Stebbins aside on the MTM house to a note at end as its off topic but justified as long as Stebbins does not have a separate article. While I usually do such notes using the {{efn}} and {{notelist}} syntax you can do it in a more complicated manner with ref syntax. Many experienced editors using inline sources find initiation of an article with sources in {{sfn}} useful rather than <ref> as this allows editors to easily state page or location data in so called Harvard styling and establishes the reference style for the article that is often the most concise but informative where the notable reasons for the article has technical aspects. I have no opinion on the draft article other than it was an interesting read, notability in the lead paragraph might say why it was historical as a school building relative to other school buildings that copied its design elements. I just passed by having noted you had used wikipedia for storage of copyright material out of ignorance but suspect you will have a happy editing future.
