- (talk page stalker) @Yoshi24517 I think what happened was that the article was a duplicate (code-copied) of the redirect target. That's why. @2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:ADF0:175C:CB22:4C47 please understand that everyone makes mistakes. If I didn't scroll through the history and open the other page then I would have also reverted your edit.

- Yeah that was all. Although, an edit summary with the word "fix" does not do anything to explain anything. Like what Myrealnamm said, I only see the edit. - User:Yoshi24517 sure it does, C&P article text does not belong on a redirect at all, and removing it is a fix. The edit history is irrelevant here, only the diff. Anyway be sure to check the diff in the future if you had just done that the purpose of the edit would have been obvious even without any edit summary and there is rarely good reason not to check diffs before hitting the revert button. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:ADF0:175C:CB22:4C47 (talk) 22:24, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
- All I saw was the current diff, and all I saw was you removing stuff. When I do my editing, my software shows no previous diffs other than the current one. - User:Yoshi24517 Look it's cool, but someone, not necessarily you, needs to adjust whatever the defaults for the relevant software are to show the diffs, or at least allow that as a feature. There is rarely reason to revert without visually inspecting a diff first. - Oh, trying to get the maintainer to update the software is a lost cause, the maintainer hasn't shown up for almost 6 months now. I've been asking for somebody else to maintain it for months now. Well, kind of. The software can show previous diffs other than the current one, but its so far out of the way to look at it, most people who use that anti-vandalism software just revert and move on. Either way, I'm bickering about an edit that I no longer need to worry about, so I apologize for the honest mistake from earlier, and let's move on.
