[edit]Hi 2409:40D4:2006:9F21:4974:DC65:BE4D:B05A! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Rajpurohit several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Rajpurohit, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 15:52, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Dear Sir/ Ma'am @AntiDionysius
- There is this person @vedant katyayan with a couple of different ip addresses and he is trying to erase the history of Rajpurohits which has been well researched, cited and referenced. He has vested interests and malice intentions behind the same. He is negating all the facts and sources of reputed historians and is continuously whitewashing his point of view in order to defame our caste as well as ancestors. He has done the same with CHARANS earlier and now he is doing with RAJPUROHITS. Its my sincere request to kindly block and debar him. 2409:40D4:2006:9F21:4974:DC65:BE4D:B05A (talk) 16:02, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't have blocking power and I have frankly no idea who's right or wrong in the content dispute - and I don't care, because you're not allowed to edit war even if you're right. Please stop reverting the article. Others will also be asked to stop reverting the article. Then go to the talk page and work it out via discussion. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:04, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- If you have solid reason to believe someone is in fact using multiple accounts or IP addresses, you can make a report at WP:SPI. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:05, 27 October 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
Either there is a single person with multiple ip addresses or there is a some people with malice intentions who are trying to defame RAJPUROHIT caste and its legendary warriors. They are deleting all the matter all the crucial matter and whitewashing their vested interests and basically manipulating the history. I myself being a Rajpurohit have researched and studied well about history of Rajpurohits. I assure that the information which was there earlier were absolutely correct and there are even references which these people are erasing. I am dejected as my caste, my ancestors, their legacy is misrepresented and I am unable to do anything. Kindly unblock and if possible give me powers of admin of the page so that it can be secured and no one in future can edit it as per their vested interests.
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you:
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 16:23, 27 October 2024 (UTC)

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics.
