Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Ukrainian Canadians, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Specifically, you changed the name of the file name of one of the images on the article, which removed the image. ObserveOwl (chit-chatmy doings) 15:45, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Mexican drug war. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. MacAddct1984 (talk | contribs) 15:59, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Commonwealth of Nations, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 06:47, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Over Her Dead Body, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 01:34, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ENGVAR[edit]

Hi. In addition to the multiple other requests to review related guidelines, please read WP:ENGVAR. (Where an article is tagged with {{Use Hiberno-English}}, for example, the spellings used in the article should follow relevant spelling norms. And not "American" norms. EG: "Organised" and not "organized". "Humour" and not "humor". Etc.) Guliolopez (talk) 12:56, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please also read MOS:AMP, MOS:TYPOFIX and related guidelines. In addition to changing text and sources to suit your own preferred national variety of English, please do not change quoted text to suit your own preferences. In multiple places in several articles, including here and here and here, you have changed quoted text. Stop doing this. MOS:SIC. Guliolopez (talk) 13:09, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. As noted by several editors (above and in related edit summaries), it is not helpful (and is actually unhelpful and actively disruptive) to make arbitrary and unsupported changes to quoted text. In this series of edits for example, you added a "comma" to the title of an article (and the title of the references which support this article) which are not reflected by any reality. The volume of advisories (from other editors) above suggests that we have gone well beyond WP:IDHT. Which expects that "If the community spends more time cleaning up editors' mistakes and educating them about policies and guidelines than it considers necessary, sanctions may be imposed". To my mind, we are at the "sanctions may be imposed" stage. Escalation next. Fair warning. Guliolopez (talk) 13:55, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

July 2024[edit]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:13, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
