Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:
Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.
If you have any questions, we have a friendly space where experienced editors can help you here:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.
Happy editing! Doug Weller talk 17:23, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
Please stop using edit summaries to have a go at editors
[edit]And start using talk pages to explain your edits and issues in more detail. Note that although I'd rather not, I can block you from articles and leave you with no alternative but to use their talk pages. Doug Weller talk 17:25, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- I'd love to see why you think Bay had a Chinese name. Doug Weller talk 17:26, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- poor attempt at trolling won't get u anywhere. Also, fix that Reading Comprehension of urs. LOL
- I didn't expect an explanation, but I note that you are continuing to violate WP:CIVIL and WP:AgF. If you don't want to play nicely, there's a solution to that. Doug Weller talk 19:56, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Genetic_studies_on_Jews into Persian Jews. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 15:26, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
