[edit]

References <ref></ref> should go next to the text that is being cited, not at the bottom of the page under the {{reflist}}. As you put it below the reflist, it created an error. (See the red warning at the bottom of the page). Would you please fix this? Otherwise someone will likely remove it. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 07:36, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

See wp:cite for information on adding citations. reliable sources may also be of use. A common use might be "Jack said blah, blah, blah.<ref>[http://www.cnn.com/ CNN.com Jack reports]</ref>" Note the use of brackets "[]". This would look something like "Jack said blah, blah, blah.[3] with the reference showing up automatically under the References section. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:06, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Commandants of the United States Air Force Academy may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. Hello 140.32.16.3. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Cell/Silica Biocomposites".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Cell/Silica Biocomposites}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 21:53, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request that editing from this account be disabled, but account creation allowed. As you can see, this is the IP Address of the Air Force Academy. All 4,000 cadets are forced to live on base. The problem is obvious. --140.32.16.3 (talk) 20:03, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
