Ah, @Mathglot:, can you take a look? I have posted some comments on the talkpage. Polygnotus (talk) 15:05, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Lol he reported me for "vandalism". Polygnotus (talk) 15:06, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I will be looking at it and adding something here soon. The vandalism report was an error on their part; Wikipedia's special sense of the word WP:VANDALISM often trips up new editors. I've already warned them away from using that word at Talk; Please don't hold it against them as they on-board here at Wikipedia, always a difficult process. More soon[ish]. Mathglot (talk) 15:16, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Mathglot: I will never hold making me laugh against anyone. My idea was to slowly, step by step, reintroduce the good parts back in the article while rewriting/combining and removing some of it. But then they made a dramatic exit for unclear reasons. If you want to do it the other way around, putting everything back in and then removing the bad parts, that is fine with me too. Glass half full, half empty kinda thing. And we both know the glass is half full of air and half full of liquid. Polygnotus (talk) 15:23, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If they are really gone, then I will not oppose removal of that content again. Let's give it a little while, though, I like to give new editors maximum slack; it is hard to find one's footing here at the outset, and mistakes are inevitable, and usually fixable. Hi, 110.232.86.40. At Talk:HEC Paris and at the Teahouse, you said:

Hi everybody. I have just seen this : https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=HEC_Paris&diff=1251076861&oldid=1251045915 ; So I quit, Wikipedia is not very serious or it is a place when anybody can do vandalism. Many thanks again for all your support. Have a very nice day. --110.232.86.40 (talk) 08:40, 14 October 2024 (UTC)

I understand your frustration, but content disagreements with other editors are inevitable as you edit here at Wikipedia, and there is no need to quit editing just because you ran into that situation. I have restored your removed content for the time being, but be aware that Polygnotus views it very differently, and their removal of this content was intended to improve the article, and was definitely not 'vandalism', which has a very special meaning at Wikipedia. The article talk page Talk:HEC Paris is there for the purpose of discussing differences and how to improve articles, and that is where you may and should discuss differences collegially, and attempt to find a compromise solution that improves the article.

In that spirit, I hope you don't quit, but come back and discuss it, and I think Polygnotus will be patient with things as they are up to a point, but you need to engage at Talk:HEC Paris, and/or show some engagement at the article to address the organizational issues they raised. I hope this helps, Mathglot (talk) 16:01, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy, such as a VPN service. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

If you are using an open proxy or VPN service, you will need to disable it or turn it off in order to edit Wikipedia.

If you believe you are not using an anonymizing proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer using your IP address who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. You may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is _______. Place any further information here. ~~~~}}. You must fill in the blank with your IP address for this block to be investigated. Your IP address can be determined here. Alternatively, if you wish to keep your IP address private you can use the Unblock Ticket Request System.

More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). For more information, see the WikiProject on Open Proxies.

Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using an open or anonymizing proxies in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator.
