Your account has been blocked indefinitely because your username is a clear violation of Wikipedia's username policy – it is obviously offensive, profane, violent, threatening, sexually explicit, disruptive, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to Wikipedia. Please see our blocking and username policies for more information.

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but users are not allowed to edit with accounts that have inappropriate usernames, and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, or would otherwise like to explain why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the following text to the bottom of your user talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|your reason here ~~~~}} The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 15:10, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Generously (talk) 14:17, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to CFA. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Aoidh (talk) 14:18, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Fastfoodfanatic! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Chick-fil-A several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Chick-fil-A, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 18:29, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

The username does not violate the username policy - bus companies are not protected under it. It is not an attack username. The name is a critique of the rapidly deteriorating service of NWFB and Citybus in Hong Kong (I am from Hong Kong), and literally translates to "New City service is worse than CMB's", where New City is short for the aforementioned companies and CMB stands for China Motor Bus. After the company was sold to Templewater Bravo, pandemic permanent service cuts rapidly accelerated. 新城服務比中巴的更壞 (talk) 15:47, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

Your new choice just references another controversial company. That is in Chinese is not relevant. 331dot (talk) 18:18, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@331dot: and so? What’s wrong with that? 新城服務比中巴的更壞 (talk) 19:14, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It violates the username policy. It's no longer up to me, any decision here will be made by the next reviewer. 331dot (talk) 19:27, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Move of redirect

[edit]

You moved Bel-Air Residence to Residence Bel-Air. That was incorrect. Redirects are alternate title that aid in navigation. It is almost never correct to move a redirect. You should have just created a new redirect Residence Bel-Air. MB 00:32, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Capitol South station, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ashburn station. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Fastfoodfanatic. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Chick-fil-A and Asian Americans".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:33, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Due to your obviously bad-faith logged-out vandalism, I have blocked this account indefinitely. --Yamla (talk) 13:51, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I acknowledge that I vandalized various pages while logged-out, specifically regarding the Chick-fil-A controversy in a way that was obviously vandalizing (i.e. calling Chick-fil-A a homophonic restaurant chain using IPs), which was disruptive to Wikipedia as the edits were unprofessional and against Wikipedia rules, specifically rules against vandalism, bad-faith editing, and using sock accounts/IPs. I sincerely apologize for the vandalism and I intend to constructively edit articles in the future, listen to other users' concerns in the case that any edit I make is challenged, and not vandalize Wikipedia under any account or IP. Fastfoodfanatic (talk) 13:08, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The standard offer is the only avenue available to you now. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 14:27, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Fastfoodfanatic (talk) 13:08, 18 September 2023 (UTC) [reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public. You may instead email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-en@wikimedia.org with your username and appeal.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Fastfoodfanatic (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I fully regret my vandalism related to various topics, particularly using multiple accounts to add unsuitable jokes relating to Chick-fil-A into articles against Wikipedia policy, and will not do this again. I am committed to contributing constructively to Wikipedia in the future in various areas (including board games and public transit-related topics, especially related to the Washington Metro and other transit in the Washington DC metropolitan area) and fix obvious errors (fact-check), without using any sockpuppets or vandalizing on any account. Fastfoodfanatic (talk) 00:57, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Accepting this as a WP:LASTCHANCE. Please be cautious and make sure your edits are constructive, because it is very likely that you will not get unblocked again if you cause disruption again in the future. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any doubt about whether a particular edit would be a good idea before making such edits. Elli (talk | contribs) 15:20, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No checkuser evidence of recent block evasion. If you, reviewing admin, are convinced, you are free to lift the block without consulting me. I don't find the above request sufficiently convincing to take action on my own. --Yamla (talk) 19:10, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:51, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the edit on Washington Metro speed

[edit]

That was meant to be a temporary edit. I saw on a YouTube video of a Red line train in ATO, and someone mentioned in the comments that due to overruns, the max regulated speed was restricted to 59 mph.

The video is titled: "WMATA Red Line: Friendship Heights to Tenleytown on ATO" VishC24 (talk) 23:08, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't see that comment, but we probably need to wait for a more reliable source to appear, as that comment may not be accurate. Fastfoodfanatic (talk) 23:09, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
