The article Rachel Liang has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Minchen Lin

[edit]

Hello 愛耶穌,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Minchen Lin for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Nsk92 (talk) 00:39, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cut and paste moves

[edit]

If you want to move an article, please use the move function. Cutting and pasting it from one place to another violates copyright.--Ymblanter (talk) 10:29, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

National varieties of English

[edit]

Information icon In a recent edit to the page Light-year, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Favonian (talk) 18:20, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'll second that. Really, please don't do that. I just reverted your move of Wide-gamut RGB color space to Wide-gamut RGB colour space, which was done without any WP:Edit summary to explain your action. The article itself uses "color", not "colour" predominantly. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:28, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dear Favonian and BarrelProof, i much more believed in Hong Kong Spelling than American Spelling, because when some of my friend go to america he say's:

A different definition is spelt in 1 spelling (e.g. cheque is spelt check in US while cheque's example is “Macau Bank Cheque”, and check's example is “Check his pockets”)

but because you dei say's “Respect one other spelling”, so i will respect your dei spelling, and i will not change any article because of it's spelling. 愛耶穌 (talk) 18:38, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are indeed using an open proxy. In this case, the Facebook proxy. Yamla (talk) 11:25, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. You are not blocked, and have never been blocked, at least not in the English Wikipedia.--Ymblanter (talk) 16:16, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ymblanter why i cannot edit other pages, and it said i am blocked because of open proxy? 愛耶穌 (talk) 16:25, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Are you logged in and can not edit, or you can not log in?--Ymblanter (talk) 16:32, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ymblanter i'm logged in but i cannot edit a page (other than my Talk Page). 愛耶穌 (talk) 16:38, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It sounds like your account is not blocked but your IP address is, so you will need to tell us your IP address for someone to investigate it - if you do not want to reveal your IP address in public, please make an unblock request using WP:UTRS. Ymblanter and Boing! said Zebedee, my IP Address is 2A03:2880:1110:9FD9:FACE:B00C:0:8000, but it was being block since March of 2017, but i have edited some page on 2017 March 26, so how can thee explain it? 愛耶穌 (talk) 13:05, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ymblanter and Boing! said Zebedee, in 化學家 i have edited, but my IP address is also block at Cantonese Wikipedia, so how do i edited in Cantonese Wikipedia but here in English Wikipedia i cannot edit? 愛耶穌 (talk) 13:59, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've no idea about any other Wikipedia, but I suspect you have sometimes had a different IP address in the past here which has not been blocked. Hopefully someone will address your unblock request before too long - I'm not able to myself at the moment. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:04, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That IP address is subject to two blocks: [1] shows:
  1. {{blocked proxy}}: <!-- Facebook IP range used as an open proxy for Facebook members -->
  2. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Najaf ali bhayo

About the translation

[edit]

Dear 愛耶穌,
I’m really not good at translating but I’m going to try it in days. Because of it’s such an article that’s strongly associated with the Hellenic history, I need some time.
