If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on National Union of Calligraphers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Various Recent Images

[edit]

All the images at Special:ListFiles/Фёдор_Александров were found to have an incorrectly formatted OTRS template with an invalid number. Users are not permitted to add OTRS tickets to their images - they can only add {{OTRS pending}}. I have changed all of them to OTRS pending, and so you have 30 days to arrange permission for them.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 17:57, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on US Education Fair Moscow, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WWGB (talk) 14:54, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

MVK

[edit]

Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: runs a number of large-scale international... Our Victory project... two image-making projects
  • More to the point, it's all about what the company does, little about the company itself other than locations. How many employees? Turnover? Profits? Has the company ever received negative publicity? Who are its competitors? You have more about the company's non-commercial activities than the company itself.
  • not a reason for deletion, but if you recreate, add wikilinks, eg Moscow, Great Patriotic War, North Pole.
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject (Our Victory project... we could edit the article as required). You could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.

Basically, you just need to make sure the text is absolutely neutral and add factual stuff as I've indicated, preferably near the beginning. Company articles are always going to be viewed with suspicion! Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:01, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You ask how to ensure that articles are not speedily deleted

[edit]

You need to learn all about Wikipedia. Reading this essay is a good start. I suspect most strongly that you are a PR agency or are otherwise paid to edit here, thus displaying WP:COI. I counsel you most strongly to avoid any conflict of interest. You do seem to be using Wikipedia and Commons as your own PR platform. Fiddle Faddle 14:27, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
