Sadraddin (Kazakh: Садраддин Ғалымжанұлы Болат, Sadraddin Ğalymjanūly Bolat, born June 2003, Shymkent, Kazakshtan)) is a popular kazakh singer and a songwriter. Winner in the nomination «Kazakh Artist of the Year» of the «Ticketon Award 2024». Winner of two platinum discs. Author and performer of his own songs.

Biography

Sadraddin was born on June 4, 2003 in the city of Shymkent. He is the eldest child in the family. He started singing at the age of 5. In his own words, he got his singing gift from his mother. Already in the first grade Sadraddin started dreaming about the big stage.

The family of the young talent at first was skeptical of his decision to connect his life with music, but later the mother of the future artist, and now his producer Aigul Yeskara supported her son's creative endeavors, and in the 5th grade Sadraddin began to attend vocal lessons.

In 2019, Sadraddin completed his studies at the School of Arts in Shymkent and in the same year entered the pop vocal department of the Tchaikovsky Almaty Music College.

The singer is very close to his mother. In 2020, at the age of 17, Sadraddin gave his mother an apartment and in 2024 a car.

Sadraddin is involved in charity work, but tries not to advertise it in public. In July 2022, the artist gave a free concert in the capital's Khan Shatyr shopping center. A huge number of fans came to listen to the singer.

Sadraddin writes the lyrics and music for his tracks himself. Sadraddin also plays instruments such as piano, guitar and dombyra.

The start of a career

In 2015, at the age of 12, he took 1st place in the III Republican Children's Musical Television Contest «Ayalagan Astana».

In 2016, he became the winner of the Republican TV project «Dala Daryny». In the same year, as part of a trio, he became a laureate of the national music contest “The Voice Kids”.

In 2017, he took part in the international music project “In the Whole Voice”. Sadraddin became widely known thanks to social networks, where his covers of popular compositions by Kazakhstani and foreign performers were distributed. Even before the release of his own songs, he participated in various concert programs and festivals. So in 2019, he performed in the international festival “Star of Asia”.

The artist's first single “Aliya”, released in 2020, immediately took a leading position in the top of new music tracks by Kazakhstani artists. Sadraddin's popularity increased tenfold, and the artist's fan base grew with each subsequent track. To date, his Instagram followers have surpassed 2 million. In 2022, Sadraddin performed in Moscow.

In 2023, Sadraddin's song “Aiga qarap” became the best in the category “Best Hit of the Year” of the Kazakhstani television award “Qyzyq Awards”. This track spent 20 weeks in the top charts of digital platforms VK Music, Yandex Music, Apple Music and Spotify. In the summer of 2023 Sadraddin headlined the legendary festival «Voice of Asia».

On September 9, 2023, the first solo concert of the young artist took place in the Palace of Sports and Culture “Almaty Arena”. Tickets to the auditorium, which has 12,000 seats, ran out a few days before the concert.

Two of Sadraddin's singles “Aliya” and “Aiga qarap” were awarded platinum discs for achieving platinum sales status.
