Ok. I'm thinking that where the link is added to articles on specific specific works, the page or catalogue number should be added, as looking through a big PDF catalogue for just one page or so can be a big hassle. That goes for the group of other artists (after 'Magpie) too. Does that sound ok? Johnbod (talk) 21:36, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
For the artists, I think adding "(see index)" to the end might be better because, generally speaking, they (and their work) appear a number of times throughout the catalog. I think that if there is a catalog number for the works they can be listed, and if not (if the work is simply talked about in a few places in the text) then perhaps a "(see index)" can be added as well. I think adding the extra information will be helpful to people, but appending every single page on which some of these things are mentioned might be overkill. Does this sound reasonable to you? Ok - one thing I should mention is that this Tiffany Collection is consistently getting larger - we are currently working on digitizing more and more material for it, so the current 40+ publications will just keep continuing to grow. WilliamDigiCol (talk)

Ok I think, but just for the firm article unless there are specific sections or ranges of items relating to the subjects of the bios. I see the link to the La Guardia and Wagner Archives collection at Henry Z returns a 404 error. Any way to sort that? They seem to have the main Steinway archive? I added the correct link to the La Guardia and Wagner Archives article. Also, in box 10 there are things related specifically to Henry Z and William, in box 11 there are some general accounts of the Steinways, and in box 14 there are letters from both Theodore and Henry Z. I don't know if that is enough to warrant adding links in William, Henry Z and Theodore's articles, but there is specific information about these individuals in this collection. Any suggestions on how to improve this page would be greatly appreciated. Also, the material for this article was taken directly from the library's "about" page. I would like to know what needs to be done in order to make it clear that this is OK with the library. Are there releases I need to get in order for this to be acceptable to Wikipedia? Thanks.   • Hmm. Too directly - see WP:COPYVIO. You would need to get a release to use the exact MMA text, which I expect would involve consulting the in-house lawyers. Also we discourage GLAM people editing the articles on their own institution, though if the house text is released that might not be an issue. I'd suggest trying to get a new York Wikipedian to work on the text to make it an acceptable paraphrase produced by someone with no COI.
