Italian is my native language. I'm a fluent speaker of English (mixed American-British variety; mostly GA accent with RP spelling). I live in Russia and speak Russian fluently. I learned Ancient Greek and Latin after studying them 5 years in high school, and I would also like to learn Spanish in the future.
I'm a devout and proud Christian, and I regularly attend church service. Jesus is all for me. I consider myself very religious, I strive to attend church every Sunday, I read the Bible, I pray and personally talk to God every day. I'm devoutly religious, though I am very accepting of other faiths and religions and eager to know more about them. I was baptizedCatholic before officially converting to Orthodoxy, but I still have deep respect for Catholics, the Vatican and the Pope, and the role the Catholic Church played on Italian culture. I considered myself half Russian Orthodox, half non-denominational Christian.
My greatest idol and everyday inspiration for me is the Father of MedicineHippocrates, who made outstanding contributions to his field. My favourite historical figure is unarguably the legendary Roman general and ruler Julius Caesar. My favourite philosopher of all time is the Ancient GreekAristotle, but I also highly appreciate Plato, Descartes, Thomas Aquinas, John Locke and Fyodor Dostoevsky. My favourite writers/poets are Aristophanes (Greek literature) and Virgil and Lucretius (Latin literature) as I mentioned before. My favourite US presidents of all time are Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan. My favourite star is Sirius and my favourite constellation is Orion.
