Hi there Themit. Thanks for your message notifying me about your recent uploads of various images of the Geelong area. It's high time we had some more pictorial content supporting Geelong online at the wiki, and your uploads are of high quality and compliment the article subject perfectly.

I was hoping to be able to get out and about to grab some photo opportunities myself, however I will be shortly moving out of town and will be living some 7 hours away by road. Of course, I'll continue to enhance and update Geelong related entires here at Wikipedia as time allows. One never can leave home entirely. Thanks for your contributions. They're going to serve as a reminder for all the good things about Geelong I'll be leaving behind. Cheers. -- Longhair 07:15, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Airvanuatu.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Unblock request
[edit]

{{unblock|I share a proxy /ip address with others who have obviously been vandalising. Please unblock my USERNAME (themit). I was blocked by "Can't sleep, clown will eat me."}}

We can't unblock you at this time, because you haven't given us the information we need to even look into your block. You yourself were not blocked; if you were prevented from editing, you must have been autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. I'm removing your unblock request because there's nothing we can do without this information. If you are still autoblocked by the time you read this message:
  1. Try and edit the Wikipedia:Sandbox by clicking here.
  2. Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Autoblocked?" section.
  3. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.
If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and need not do anything more. Daniel.Bryant 08:49, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Can I get the username of the original blockee? It'll be tricky to look into your block/autoblock without it. Luna Santin 04:34, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Health Wiki Research
[edit]

A colleague and I are conducting a study on health wikis. We are looking at how wikis co-construct health information and create communities. We noticed that you are a frequent contributor to Wikipedia on health topics.

Please consider taking our survey here.

This research will help wikipedia and other wikis understand how health information is co-created and used.

We are from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The project was approved by our university research committee and members of the Wikipedia Foundation.

Thanks, Corey 16:14, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Airvanuatu.gif)
[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Airvanuatu.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:28, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Logo has been replaced with a brand new logo of Air Vanuatu which looks even better than the one I could give, so delete the old one BetacommandBot and we'll work from there.themit 13:53, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
