Pool South Africa is the controlling Body of eightball pool in South Africa. Pool South Africa is was established in 1987 and Pool South Africa hosts National events in different provinces. Following is a list of Nationals Hosted by Pool South Africa: 1. Seniors National Championships (40+ of age) 2. Masters National Championships (50+ of age) 3. Ladies National Championships (All ages) 4. Under 18 National Championships 5. Under 23 National Championships 6. Opens National Championships (All ages and gender)
Pool South Africa Partake each year at the World Championships hosted by WEPF (World Eightball Pool Federation), Pool South Africa has a National body for their referees. SAPRA (South African Pool Referee Association) is the National body for the referees, SAPRA is the decision making body when it comes to grading of referees. There are a few levels for referees in South Africa, the following is the classifications as per the SAPRA: 1. League Certificate Level 2. Provincial Certificate Level 3. National Certificate Level 4. Higher National Certificate Level - Assistant Control Referee in Training 5. Higher National Certificate Level - Assistant Control Referee 6.
