Majid Dawood was born in India post partition and his family emigrated to Pakistan. At age 15 he was sent to boarding school at St Peter’s in York[3], the oldest public school in the United Kingdom. He has spent a large portion of his life in the United Kingdom.

He completed his education in the UK and got a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.[4] After spending his early formative life in many business activities, he later developed a keen interest in finance and business.
