  • Ramirez, R. M. (2018). A more comprehensive habitable zone for finding life on other planets. Geosciences, 8(8), 280.
    • This is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and therefore, should be a reliable source. It covers the topic of the habitable zone which would be the area where life could possibly form. It can add to the discussion of the possibility of extraterrestrial life or the future creation of extraterrestrial life.
  • Tirard, S. (2013). The relationship between the origins of life on earth and the possibility of life on other planets: A nineteenth-century perspective. In Astrobiology, History, and Society: Life Beyond Earth and the Impact of Discovery (pp. 103-113). Berlin, Heidelberg: Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
    • This is part of a book series published by Springer, so it should be a reliable source. This excerpt discusses the similarity of how life was started on Earth, and how similar processes could occur on different planets with the right conditions. It will be a good source for supporting the theory of extraterrestrial life if given the right conditions on a planet.
  • Gibson, C. H., Wickramasinghe, N. C., & Schild, R. E. (2010). First life in the oceans of primordial-planets: the biological big bang. Journal of Cosmology, 11, 3490-3499.
    • This is from a peer-reviewed scientific journal, so it should be a reliable source. This article discusses how the beginning of life on Earth could be due to an event in the universe which could mean that life was started on other planets due to the same event.
