Caroline Blue is a melodic hard-rock trio based in Syracuse, New York, Unites States.[1][2]
Caroline Blue were formed in 2000,[3] the brainchild of Wayne W Johnson (aka WWJ- lead singer, and lead/rhythm guitar). The band also consists of Andy "Doc" Gore (bass/ backing & lead vocals) and Joe Boyle (drums/ backing bocals). WWJ's life long passion for music led him to study for a degree on the subject, and before forming Caroline Blue, WWJ was involved with several bands including Smokin' Worm, Sweet Leaf (a Black Sabbath tribute band ) and X-Rated. WWJ's vocals have been said to have an uncanny resemblance to that of Paul Stanley of Kiss[4] and have also been compared to Matt Barlow of Iced Earth, and Joey Belladonna of Anthrax.[5] The songs "Pain" and "Prey" are to be featured in upcoming movie Women's Playground by Tapestry Entertainment LLC.
