Hello, welcome to my userpage.

I’m Mark and have established this account as part of an ongoing project to edit Wikipedia as the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Wikipedian in Residence. Over the three month period I hope to achieve the following,

- To create and/or enhance Wikipedia pages about notable engineers, initially focusing on diverse mix of engineers. This idea is inspired by the WikiProject Women in Red.

- Engineering-focused pages often lack information about carbon-neutral approaches and/or net zero. I therefore see an opportunity to use my knowledge to enhance these gaps in Wikipedia’s knowledge.

Articles on individual engineers

My aim is to increase/improve Wikipedia’s coverage of notable engineers, in a similar way to Women in Red focuses on improving the gender imbalance on Wikipedia.

Until now, I have no personal or paid relationship with any individual engineer. Should this ever change, then I would declare this individual conflict. For engineers reading this, I also don’t amend/take requests for any Wikipedia work, again to avoid a conflict of any kind.
