Maliha Tabassum (born 11 Nov 1999) is a Bangladeshi Writer, Dub artist, Singer, Doctor.[1] [2][3]She described herself as a Thriller Writer.[4]

Early life and education

Maliha Tabassum was born In Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She studied SSC and HSC at Ideal School & College Dhaka and MBBS at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College.[5]

Career

Maliha Tabassum is a Bangladeshi aspiring novelist and artist who is also keen to set her footprint in direction based on her own plot. Apart from her creative career, she is currently an MBBS student and studying in Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College. She has developed inclination towards Bengali and English literature and music from her very early days. Her first published piece of writing was from Jugantar Newspaper,Prothom Alo back in 2012-14. She gained recognition as best classical singer and reciter in 2015 from Nazrul Academy. She also achieved prize as best Radio Personality in 2018 from Radio Bhumi.[6] Then she's biggest break was her third novel, Inferiority Complex. This novel introduced first ever Fictional Medical Examiner character in our Bangladesh. It garnered overnight stardom for Maliha Tabassum and a webseries based on the novel is in processing.[7] She has always longed for making a revolutionary change in Bangladeshi Book Industry and Media by internationalising Bangla Literature and Media. She wants to play a pivotal role to convert medical thriller fiction into celluloid all along. The bridge between literature and media of Bangladesh can secure a firm position of Bangladeshi content into global platform - This is her firm belief</ref> [8]
