Hon. (Barr.) Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi (born on March 19) is a Nigerian politician and civil rights activist who currently serve as the Federal Representative for Oshodi-Isolo II Federal Constituency, Lagos, in the 10th National Assembly. He is a member of the Labour Party.
Early Years and Education
[edit]He pursued his higher education at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Literary Studies. He furthered his education with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the same university. Onuakalusi completed his legal training at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, becoming a barrister.
Career
[edit]Before entering politics, Onuakalusi was an active civil rights activist and a practicing barrister. He was a legal practitioner of reputable standing in the nation, operating his law firm in Lagos.[1] Throughout his career, he has held several significant positions, both domestically and internationally, including:

Political Career
[edit]Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi is a Honourabe Member of the House of Representatives in the National Assembly of Nigeria. He represents the Oshodi-Isolo II Federal Constituency, Lagos, under the banner of the Labour Party.[2] As a Federal Representative, Onuakalusi has focused on several key legislative agendas, including:
