Hello, I'm LovesMacs (talk) 00:00, 18 November 2008 (UTC). I know it's a silly name but there's a story behind that. After many attempts to find a name reflecting my interests that wasn't already taken, I chose this one because I enjoy Macintosh computers. I actually enjoy other things even more, such as reading, photography, music, and traveling. I will read almost anything, but I especially like history, religion, mythology, and literature in general.
I am currently reading the novel Children of the Black Sabbath by Anne Hébert, in order to write about it here at English Wikipedia. I may well write about it over at French Wikipedia too because the article over there is not very developed.
Aucanquilcha is a large stratovolcano located in the Antofagasta Region of northern Chile, just west of the border with Bolivia and within the Alto Loa National Reserve. Part of the Central Volcanic Zone of the Andes, it takes the form of a ridge, with a maximum height of 6,176 metres (20,262 ft). The volcano is embedded in a larger cluster of volcanoes known as the Aucanquilcha cluster. This was formed in stages over 11 million years of activity with varying magma output, including lava domes and lava flows. Aucanquilcha was formed from four units that erupted between 1.04 and 0.23 million years ago. During the ice ages, both the principal Aucanquilcha complex and the other volcanoes of the cluster were subject to glaciation, resulting in the formation of moraines and cirques.

Map of the Freston causewayed enclosure
Freston is a Neolithic causewayed enclosure at an archaeological site near the village of Freston in Suffolk, England. The Neolithic enclosure was first identified in 1969 from cropmarks in aerial photographs. At 8.55 hectares (21.1 acres), it is one of the largest causewayed enclosures in Britain, and would have required thousands of person-days to construct. The cropmarks show an enclosure with two circuits of ditches, and a palisade that ran between the two circuits. There is also evidence of a rectangular structure in the northeastern part of the site, which may be a Neolithic long house or an Anglo-Saxon hall. Excavation in 2019 indicated that the site was constructed in the mid–4th millennium BC. Other finds included oak charcoal fragments believed to come from the palisade, and evidence of a long ditch to the southeast that probably predated the enclosure, and which may have accompanied a long barrow, a form of Neolithic burial mound. The site has been protected as a scheduled monument since 1976. (Full article...)
PersianPoetGal here, pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm a half Persian (Iranian) female born and raised in great sunny California! I enjoy many things such as poetry (obvious of course), reading, writing, history, playing video games, filmmaking, light programming, and just making a person's day better :). I used to be active at the Windows Movie Maker Forums but now I have sort of semi-retired due to being crammed with my studies. I also contributed to "The Persian Page", a page devoted to implementing custom effects and transitions into Windows Movie Maker 2 using xml which is hosted and now fully edited by "PapaJohn" Buechler. I am an administrator (see my Request for Adminship) on the English Wikipedia and I voluntarily patrol the "Recent Changes Page". While on patrol I keep on the lookout to make sure articles are free of vandalism and abide by the Wikipedia Golden Rules :P. I also help create Wikipedia Ads for different WikiProjects, see this page for details. Believe it or not I start new articles and edit pre-existing ones every now and then! So please feel free to mercilessly edit any of my Wiki-Contributions just the same. I honestly feel there is always someone who can add a little extra ;). However, those not-so-nice enough to vandalize my page or anyone else's for that matter, it will not do you any good. Thanks for reading a little bit about me :D!
This spoof of a well known search engine was inspired by Swatjester's (originally Gurch's) spoof of a well known social networking site. It is important to remember however that Wikipedia is neither :P.
