The State of East Indonesia (Indonesian: Negara Indonesia Timur, NIT) was a state in present-day Indonesia which existed from 1946 to 1950. It was founded as a puppet state of the Netherlands following the Malino Conference and became a constituent country of the United States of Indonesia after the Dutch–Indonesian Round Table Conference in 1949.

The prime minister of the State of East Indonesia (Indonesian: Perdana Menteri Negara Indonesia Timur) was the head of government of the State of East Indonesia (NIT) which existed from 1946 until 1950, when the state was dissolved into the Republic of Indonesia.

The 2020 North Kalimantan gubernatorial election was held on 9 December 2020 to elect both governor and vice-governor of North Kalimantan for the 2021–2024 term. The election was held alongside simultaneous local elections across Indonesia.
