The sane one
[edit]Hi, Hahnchen, I've now added a pretty cool studio portrait of the whole 1896 crew to the balloon article that you kindly supported for FA. You can see, from left to right, a sane one, a crazy one, and a crazy one. :-) Bishonen | ノート 08:25, 23 March 2006 (UTC).
AfD Bot
[edit]I saw you manually handled an archiving issue that the bot should have handled. I don't know if you've noticed there's another (probably related) issue. The link to AfD's for Yesterday [1] is still bringing up 3/25. The Today page is fine, but the Yesterday page won't roll over. I left a message on AllyUnion's page. Fan1967 19:50, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Kalendar Koffee House
[edit]Deleting Kalendar from the coffee house category is wrong. To claim that Kalendar is advertising is also incorrect. The Kalendar article lists date of opening and location with interior photo. The so called "vanity" aspects have been removed from the article. Kalendar may not be as "noteable" as the larger chains, but that should not preclude it from listing in the coffee house category. To call this article spam would be to call all listings in this category spam. The previous AFD article was edited down to be considered for inclusion - tis all. No harm intended.
This on the other hand is the opening paragraphs of the Starbucks listing. I imagine that all listings in this category are similar to this.
Starbucks NASDAQ: SBUX (SEHK: 4337), is a large multinational chain of coffee shops, often serving pastries, popular in the US especially among students and young urban professionals. The corporate headquarters are in Seattle, Washington. The company was in part named after Starbuck, a character in Moby-Dick, and its insignia is a stylized cartoon Siren.
According to the company's fact sheet, as of February 2006, Starbucks had 6,216 company-operated outlets worldwide: 5,028 of them in the United States and 1,188 in other countries and U.S. territories. In addition, the company has 4,585 joint-venture and licensed outlets, 2,633 of them in the United States and 1,952 in other countries and U.S. territories.

That flash clip has also gone under the names Excite Bike: Trouble on the Tracks*, Excitebike: Trouble* and Excite Bike: Trouble*, if you see the google hits, you will see that those name yield significantly more results. The external links with a * will denote the aforementioned google hits. Now do you think it is notable? --Nintendude 22:46, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
What is the win?
[edit]I'm just curious, you called my bot the win - Tawker 08:46, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- The win, as in not the lose. If you don't understand poor internet grammar and netspeak, then it's probably a good thing. - Hahnchen 09:07, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Anything typed with poor grammar should have the "Sent from my BlackBerry Wireless Handheld" signautre line IHMO, at least thats my standard get out of poor typing free line :) -- Tawker 09:19, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Random Mobygames comment
[edit]Hahnchen, the release date for KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child is not mine per se. MobyGames is a user contributed project like the 'pedia. I think the 7/18 release date is correct. However if you find it is not so you may contribute a correction example. Anyway I hope that helps. --Flipkin 18:15, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Shoot I should or read your notice before I posted. Too late now. Sorry. --Flipkin 18:16, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Webcomic Afd
[edit]I wasn't aware that the article was written by the author, but that 'vanity' prohibition has been violated by Jimbo (and others, but most notably by Jimbo) so many times that it is more or less deprecated. Cynical 20:01, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Travolta articles
[edit]Most of these were created as PR to promote Rikki Lee Travolta Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rikki Lee Travolta by getting his name mentioned multiple times by user Special:Contributions/Paramountpr and their sockpuppets. I have also afded the Travolta family article Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Travolta family. Regards Arniep 01:02, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Source Engine Helbreath
[edit]Hi, Hahnchen
Thank you for your message reguarding my Helbreath Source article, i apologised i have wrote misleading information. Rather porting the game to a SOURCE engine, the game source has been edited to display 3D models. i apologise for the misleading info. You can find more about this project over at www.unadvised.net
Hi, I notice you've had a say in previous discussions about deletions/undeletions for the myg0t article, I'd just like to inform you that another such discussion is occurring now, so if you'd like to voice your opinion, for or against undeletion of the article, feel free to post your thoughts.[2] - USER-cacophony 20:28, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Half-Life 2 FAC
[edit]Hello,
I think I have addressed all of your concerns at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Half-Life 2/archive2. If you can review the changes and take further action, I would be much obliged. Thanks! Linuxbeak (drop me a line) 23:49, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Shrak / Quantum Axcess
[edit]I'm curious, as the author of the Quantum Axcess article did you also sue QA? I did as part of the Shrak project.
- No, I know next to nothing about Quantum Axcess. I only added a link to the Malice article I wrote as I was a fan of the game. I have nothing to do with either of the development teams. I have no idea who wrote the actual article. - Hahnchen 14:31, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Computer photos
[edit]Hi,
I saw that you posted a message in 'REquest for images' section for computers images. I have taken one yesterday, and it's uploeaded now in Wiki commons, so you can put it, where you wanted it for. I was a bit in a hurry, so I didn't have time to take pictures of other clusters, but hopefully this one is OK, too
The image is
Svetlana Miljkovic 20:59, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
hm.. I don't know why it's not showing up..
- I can see the picture at the commons OK, I'm not sure why it doesn't show on Wikipedia. But I'm not sure it suits the purposes of the article Personal computer. People have been moving around the images there for a while now, right now, the main image is an icon of a PC, which isn't exactly great. But your picture shows a bunch of Macs, and they don't have the typical tower (or desktop) and monitor arrangement which I was incidentally looking for. Thanks anyhow. - Hahnchen 22:12, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Busted
[edit]Yeah, you caught me on that one. I saw it, realized it was a hot potato from hell, and pretended it didn't exist. –Abe Dashiell (t/c) 01:34, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Lol, I didn't know about it until seeing it on DRV. It looks like it's going to get deleted, but I don't really care either way. Just wanted to let the people at comics know, being that it's mildly more interesting than most other stuff that goes on there. - Hahnchen 01:35, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
I notice you've put the AfD discussion on the Webcomics related deletions. Why? This has nothing to do with webcomics. I assume you meant to list another AfD discussion but got this one by mistake. Reyk YO! 03:10, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Take a look at his publications. For me, the only reason why he would be notable is because of his contributions to the webcomic community. If you look at the conversation directly above this one, it also relates to the Phil Sandifer afd. - Hahnchen 03:18, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Team NoA:
[edit]Per last night's discussion, I've stuck it on AFD to get a decent hearing. Thoughts? Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Team NoA Shimgray | talk | 13:28, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sticking an AFD on that is absolutely fine. The thing is, I'm not into the e-sports scene so it was pretty hard to find any decent sources for. I did give it a bit of a tidy up and update their player rostrum though. - Hahnchen 14:55, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Krabs
[edit]Saw your note. What's he been doing? I'm about ready to block all the socks. Enough is enough? Kaisershatner 15:45, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, nevermind, I followed your edit summary. Get evidence from checkuser, you're right this is the first step. Kaisershatner 15:49, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't know you were an admin. Hopefully getting evidence on the unmarked IP would definitely be a good thing. But I can't see any other solution in the end other than to block him, or force him to use one account. The genuine edits he makes are totally thrown into question by his vandalistic entries into articles, making research into them necessary, it's a total waste of time. - Hahnchen 15:53, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

In regards to the G-man sighting,
[edit]There is nothing you can do to disprove what I have written. You are deleting it based on your own opinions and lack of knowledge.
It may be a bad photoshop (which it isn't), but it may just as well be and actual sighting, as confirmed by many players.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Tetris Worlds
[edit]Wouldn't it be better for it to be a disambig page between the two games?--SeizureDog 02:29, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- I considered that, but Tetris Worlds is just a redirect to Tetris, so I didn't see any real point. - Hahnchen 02:45, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- I suppose so. And hopefully anyone searching for the Tetris Worlds part would be smart enough to just enter that.--SeizureDog 03:05, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
