Be bold.

Nero's Day at Disneyland: A musician who does her work primarily online and therefore doesn't have a lot of information about her background, the history of her work, her interviews, or anything else.

La Cage Aux Folles: An Italian play that I actually haven't read yet. All that exists on the page currently is a brief plot summary and I want to establish more of a background about how it was written and its critical reception.

Molly Moon books: A series of young adult fiction that I obsessed over as a kid. There was a movie adaption in 2010 that I haven't yet seen but I think the information about it would benefit the current page. Again, I want to add more about its background and critical reception.

Escape From Memory by Margaret Peterson Haddix: A novel that I read during 5th grade that I'm very fond of. All that exists on the Wikipedia page currently is the publication information and a brief plot summary, and I think I could add some more information about its critical reception.

Game Grumps: A Youtube series that I am very fond of that has a complicated history with its fanbase that I think would be beneficial to have documented on a public forum.

Escape From Memory by Margaret Peterson Haddix notability test:

I was able to find a few prominent reviewer discussing this book:

https://www.publishersweekly.com/978-0-689-85421-7

https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/margaret-peterson-haddix/escape-from-memory/

I believe these sources to be reliable (as reviewers go, they aren't just some random dude on a blog) and not sponsored or paid for by the publishing company.

I was planning on updating the plot summary of the book to be a little more in-depth, and add some significant reviews into a new section. I also plan on mentioning the aggregate scores on sites like Goodreads and Barnes and Noble to reflect its public reception.

(OK Kirkus and PW are kind of decent notability cites - - but lots of books get reviewed in both. Are there any other articles/discussions about the book that might satisfy the notability test? ProfHanley (talk) 17:50, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

10/8 Class Session

I have decided to change my topic because of a lack of available resources on Escape from Memory, . I'm going to be writing on another young adult novel, I Am J by Cris Beam. This novel has no page of its own currently, just a mention in the author's page. I want to expand that section into its own page. Here are the five peer-reviewed sources I found regarding the book:

  • Re-writing the Script: Representations of Transgender Creativity in Contemporary Young Adult Fiction and Television by Kate Norbury: E-ISSN: 2000-4389
  • Beam, Cris: I Am J.(Young adult review)(Brief article)(Book review) by Lauren Adams: ISSN: 1044-405X
  • SEXUAL BEHAVIOR: I Am J by Cathi Macrae, ISSN: 10896724
  • Criteria for the Selection of Young Adult Queer Literature by Stephanie R. Logan, Terri A. Lasswell, Yolanda Hood and Dwight C. Watson: ISSN: 00138274
  • I Am J review in School Library Journal by Diane Tucillo, ISSN 0362-8930

[OK. This looks better! ProfHanley (talk) 23:34, 14 October 2019 (UTC)]
