FreyjaPatton is a practicing artist and emerging information professional based in Canada. They are nonbinary and hard of hearing. FreyjaPatton is interested in learning about everything, but their specialization is in text art, contemporary art history, and art documentation. Much of their research involves finding ways to narrow the historical gaps between traditional art history canon (up to around 1990) and contemporary art (today), as well as working to improve inclusion of indigenous and non-male artists in art history knowledge.
